"Leave her alone." Valencia demanded, her fist clenched. We wouldn't be in this mess if I hadn't followed them... She scolded herself in her mind, Now we're all paying..... If only I could be the sole (only) person to have to pay...

(Btw Valencia blames herself for everything that has happened because she was the one who followed Neomi and Neil and got kidnapped..)

"I'll handle this." Neomi turned away and swam as fast as she could out of the cave and demanded what she could do to make Jared stop hurting her friends. "Only way is for you to die. Then your friends won't have to go through this pain." Neomi smiled. "Yea..maybe that will work."

Valencia swam to the caven entrance, overhearing Neomi and Jared's conversationas she got closer. She stopped short and darted back inside, drawing herself up into a dark corner, No....no....no That should be me. Not Neomi.... She does't deserve it...I do. Tears dampened her eyes again as she downed on herself.

Neomi walked in with a tear streaked face. "Hey. I'm back. Can you believe it? I actually agreed with Jared on something!" She whispered loudly. She giggled with glee. She could just die and then everything would be fine! They could go back to their lives! She then noticed her friends face. She gulped and thought, could she have heard my conversation? Was I talking too loud?

Valencia drew herself in closer, pulling herself even farther into the corner untill she was pressed against the cool stone. Tears began to run down her cheeks yets she uttered no sound.

Jared muttered to Neomi, "Dur, Neo. She spyed on us." A burst of anger went through Neomi. "Is this true, Val?" She asked her friend quietly.

Valencia slowly turn around and nodded once, "But thats not even the point." She snapped after a moment, "I'm not going to let you get killed because of somthing I did!... If I could I would trade places with you in a heartbeat....and if I can...I will."

Valencia leaped up, rushing out of the cavern and making a dash for Neomi, slowly gaining on her. Once she got close enough she grabbed Neomi's shoulder, stopping them both,"Neomi wait. ... What other way? How? Tell me."Valencia solemnly asked almost sounding desperate.
