Sinsario rofl POOR GUYS. At least Mid 70's to 80 isn't /that/ bad. Except for you know...the suffering. At least Sin is the only one hurr who actually experienced death. Make a note to never panic if you're drowning, I guess. It's not bad until I realize I'm killing them off at the exact age my dad is right now. Maybe someday I'll make a character like this who actually has a husband still alive and in his mid seventies and looking hot like Dennis Hopper did before well, you know. Poor Dennis Hopper.

I guess you can allow one man to stay hot ;P Before he got all sick and died twelve days after he turned seventy-four. Poor guy he made being in your seventies look hot and cool and fun. Man now I feel like I need to watch Easy Rider, Apocalypse Now, and Hoosiers.

Chibi Halo It's obvious Petite hasn't seen the type of death Aylin's experienced. I'm guessing she's seen a *BOOM* the person's dead kind of a death. I don't think she's seen a death that's taken ten years to happen where the person slowly slips away and is aware they're going to die and as they do they slowly forget who you are, where they are, and major parts of your life together. Let's just say those last two years of Aylin's life together with her husband were the hardest part of her life to date. It was only mere moments before death claimed him that he actually remembered the last fifty-five years of his life with Aylin and what she meant to him. Lol, not yet, but if you've read her background, her only friend is slowly aging (hence why she's trying to cure it), and doesn't have it in his heart to tell her that she can't. Not to mention the senile part of it. smile Boy, what a wake up call that'll be. Wonder if I can turn Petite into a villain at that point....? Hm.... Now, I can totally understand how sucky that it, but Petite...well, Petite's too oblivious, narrow-minded, and optimistic to worry about it. She's, like...a retarded golden retriever. I guess we'll have to see, Penn. whee Also, in regards to hot, elderly men.... SEAN CONNERY! He's, like, 300 and STILL sexeh (it's the voice). And...HOLY CRAP HOOTERS TOMORROW! ...I'm done.

Watch Darby O'Gil and the Little People some time and you'll totally want to jump young pre Bond Connery. Oh god the moment he starts singing, yes he can sing, I about melt. I totally wanted him to get together with Janet Munro in that film. Heck, one of my favorite OTP movie couples has to be Hector Elizondo and Julie Andrews, which is pretty much only eclipsed by Christopher Plummer and Julie Andrews. Then again seeing as how I have a soft spot for old people in movies and TV shows and totally rooted for Uncle Iroh in Avatar it's no wonder I felt for Carl and Ellie when she was going through what she went through near the end of her life.
As for Aylin, she knew full well when she brought Orrin back home and her parents and younger siblings all questioned her sanity for doing what she did that she'd outlive him. She knew he'd die before her and she'd go on to live another eight to nine hundred years more. She knew it and she accepted it. She just didn't expect it to happen the way it did for him. She always thought he'd be one hundred years old, tell her how much he loves her, kiss her goodnight, and pass peacefully in his sleep.

Welp, after watching the weather channel, it turns out that the excessive heat mixed with pollution in the air warrants a special warning for individuals with sensitive skin and/or dreadful allergies (like me, in both cases!). So, I'm confined to my home, which, honestly, isn't so bad...but, c'mon? Really? I didn't know they monitor that sort of thing. That's pretty, bloody awesome! Thank you, Las Vegas weather channel! whee
