"Fox," I muttered hoarsely, turning again, "fox, lookout for the...fox...the beast...is coming..."
[I murmured more incoherent words in my sleep, twitching my feet. I saw the fox, smelled the fox, felt the fox. It was going to hurt my Clan, but I couldn't stop it, I was too weak, too small, too incapable...someone was nearby, but I couldn't see them. Fox, fox, stop the fox...]

[The world began to shake. The earth cracked open and foxes bounded out of the holed, overrunning the clans and killing all the cats in sight. I heard laughter and saw Ravage, grinning with malice in his eyes as the foxes killed the entirity of NightClan. I saw my mother being killed and I screamed.
One of the foxes exploded into cheese. Suddenly all of them exploded into flames, then turned into cheese as well. Ravage screamed as he was transformed into a bird with a shiny apple for a head. The Ravage-bird ran around, flapping its wings frantically, as foxes on fire ran by, crying because they didn't want to be turned into cheese. I took a step back fearfully. I didn't want to turn into cheese either!
I woke up with a start, letting out a terrified squeak.]
"NO! I don't want to turn into cheese!" I screeched, panting.
[I glanced around wildly, then stopped, confused. I was in a hole of some sort, except it was different.The opening was to my right. How could that be? If I was in a hole, wouldn't it be above me?
I squeaked in confusion.]
"Wh-where am I?" I said to myself.
(( She's forgotten Forshaken is ther. |D
Oh, and I literally had that dream once. D: Except instead of foxes, it was people at my school. ;n; And Ravage was in place of my principal. |D ))

I hope THATS not what i promised to protect her from. cheese foxes hump! [Before she could say anything the demon quickly snapped her jaw and anything else that was out of place back. it pinned it's ears back, readying itself for a yawl of pain.] _____________________________________ ...can cure me of this curse.

[I froze as pain rippled across my jaw intensely.]
After it subsided, I said with awe, "WHOA, that hurt."
I paused, then said "So anyway, cheese is-"
[I paused again.]
"Wait. I don't know what cheese is! That's so cool. It's just like that time I had that dream about oranges. They tasted delicious, but I have no idea what an orange is! Foxfur thought it was some kind of fruit. I wonder if cheese tastes good. Too bad I didn't try it. Well, it smelled horrible, but that's probably cuz it was on fire..."
[I blinked, looking around.]
"Where are we?" I asked promptly.
(( LOL. Just like Purekit.

OwO and yep, just like her xD Forsaken didnt think it was all that funny though >.>)) [Forsaken muttered to itself. at least she seemed to be ok. it ignored her senseless babbling. when she asked her question the demon's ears lifted.] "We are in an old tree in the Outlands. I brought you here, remember..." [It said as it tended to her open wounds with moist leaves of aloe. it then began to paw at her lightly to find which muscles had been bruised and which to brace and bandage.] "I cant believe you would let yourself get in this condition! Why in the world did you jump!?" [Forsaken said with a hint o f anger in its voice.] _____________________________________ ...can cure me of this curse.

[I blinked, frowning.]
"We're in a tree?" I asked incredulously. "I didn't know trees had holes in them...unless...you made the hole! That's so-"
[The demon prodded her bruises and I squeaked, slapping his paw away angrily.]
"Stop that! It hurts!" I cried. "Geez, just ask me where it hurts."
[I paused, contemplating his last question.]
After a few moments, I said pointedly, "Cuz I thought you were dead."
[My belly growled and I slumped back angrily.]
"Is there any food here?"
(( LOL. It's also just like Purekit to be like, "I jumped cuz I thought you were dead, duh," as if it was obvious and completely okay. xD
Oh, and the way to her heart is through food. HINT HINT, FOSHAKEN.

[a evil grin stretched across it's face with realization.] kekeke it would appear that your plan has failed Blood. what a pity, you tried so very hard too. but it dose not matter, for now you lie at the bottom of a ditch. kekekeek~. Forsaken frowned as Purepaw's stomach growled.] "very well, i will be back, i need to gather some supplies anyway..." [Silently it slithered out from the tree knot and started to melt into shadow as it reached the earth. it looked up at her and gave her it's usual dark grin.] "I will return shortly. keke" _____________________________________ ...can cure me of this curse.

[I blinked, watching him slither out. I peeked out from the tree hole, tilting my head.]
"Okay then," I called, "I'll...stay here, I guess."
[I scooted back into the hole, looking around. I curled up into a ball, contemplating how boring it was in there. Suddenly a bird flew up to the opening of the hole. It let out a surprised squawk as it saw me. Tilting its head, it squawked again.]
"Sorry," I mumbled, "it's only temporary."
[The bird blinked. I scooted to the corner to give the bird more room. It hopped in suspiciously. I shrugged at it.]
"I'm too small to kill you, you know."
[Or at least, it'd take me a while.
The bird pecked at me with its beak. I grumbled and swatted at it, glaring. The bird squawked again and hopped over to the hole, glancing back at me one last time before flying out. I sighed, closing my eyes. Stupid Forsaken had to carve a hole into a bird's home...
However, I felt a warm feeling come over me.
I guess he saved me, again. I wish I could return the favor. But now that he's taken me away from the Clans, does that mean I'll be living with him?
The thought made my heart jump. I covered my face with my paw.
No, he'll probably just kick me out later. Yeah...
...no...he knows I'm too defenseless for that. No, he'll wait till I heal, and then he'll kick me out.
I lowered my paws, sighing. I could imagine it.
Forsaken would say, "Okay, Purekit, now that you're healed, I don't need to hang around you anymore. You're so annoying anyway. I'm gonna leave now, you're on your own. Kay, bye." And then he'd dissapear in a puff of smoke or something. Yup. Oh wait, he doesn't know I'm Purepaw yet. I wonder what he'd think of that? Probably, "Oh, since you're an apprentice, I guess you can take care of yourself then. Kay, bye." Yeah. More like that.
I snorted and rolled over on my back, my sore legs sticking up in the air.
There's no way Forsaken'd enjoy being with me. He'd rather eat me than live with me anyway.]
((She's trying to convince herself not to have feelings for him, and she doesn't even realize it. o3o
"Kay, bye." |D LOLWUT xD If Forshaken acted like Purepaw, that's exactly how he'd be like. But silly Purepaw doesn't realize how he realleh feelsh. <<3333 ))

XD)) [a cold aura filled the atmosphere as Forsaken returned, stepping forth from it's shadow. it carried sturdy twigs, soft cobwebbs, and the mangled body of a rabbit. Forsaken's red eyes trailed up the tree to the knot. silently it slithered up the tree and into the hole, blocking the light from entering the only light was the crimson glow of the demon's eyes. it harshly dropped the rabbit infront of her.] "...im not exactly sure if it is dead. it kind of had a heart attack when i dragged it into the shadows.... kekkekek" [Forsaken layed the twigs next to her back, and back legs and wrapped the cobwebs around her. using the twigs as braces for her small body. Forsaken then parted her fur and rubbed some sort of medicine on her sore body. before warping them up it liked her open wounds with it's cold toung to seal up the wounds. smiling somewhat at the taste of blood Forsaken quickly retreated when it realized it continued to lick. it sat up and looked out of the hole glaring evilly at the stars in the sky.] _____________________________________ ...can cure me of this curse.

[I jumped up as Forsaken returned, then sat back down again, embarrassed at my eagerness. What's wrong with me...? I wondered.]
"Wow, I wish my eyes glowed like that!" I chirped.
[I sniffed the rabbit, nodding.]
"Yeah, it's dead. Hee, I bet you gave it quite a scare," I purred proudly.
[I bit at the rabbit, tugging at its flank. Scrabbling on the tree for leverage, I pulled back a few times before finally ripping a piece off. I chewed on it loudly, trying hard to eat the tough muscle. (( Imagine a cat trying to eat beef jerky. 8D Yeah, it's that...erm...difficult for her. |D ))
I noticed he liked the taste of my blood. I rolled my eyes. Pfft. Demons. However, the feel of his tongue on my skin felt nice. I was disappointed when he pulled away. I sniffed at my wounds, still loudly munching on the rabbit meat, and looked up at him.
I had completely forgotten what Fathom had told me.
Finally swallowing the piece, I looked at him with a worried glance.]
"Was Fathom telling the truth? Did you try to kill-erm, uh, DID you kill- Leopardstorm?" I asked hesitantly.

_____________________________________[Forsaken gave a sadistic smile remembering how it captured the rabbit.] "kkekekeke yes, yes i did~" [The demon frowned as it watched her struggle to chew the rabbit.] That CANT be good for her swollen jaw, especially after it has been snapped back into place... [The demon bent down and began to tare the rabbit into many pieces using its long claws and fangs. it licked up the blood it collected on its paws, savoring the taste. It could practically taste the fear the rabbit had when it died, it made the demon smile sadistically. the demons eyes turned to Purepaw when she asked her question. an angry and hateful look appeared on it's dark face.] "No, Blood betrayed me, i had underestimated his trickery and let down my Gard. I believe it was a trap for you. only the dark forest knows why!" [Forsaken's tail whipped back and forth as it spoke. The image of his face still lingered in Forsaken's mind, along with the face of Cyotesong...] _____________________________________ ...can cure me of this curse.

[I frowned as he cut the rabbit up.]
"I coulda eaten it just fine," I grumbled.
[I shook my pelt and grabbed another piece of rabbit, chewing it a lot easier now. I still acted as if it was hard, chewing loudly. I was too stubborn to let him know he'd helped anywho.
I paused as he mentioned Blood laying a trap for me.]
"Ah don't think that trahp wash meant foh me," I said through mouthfuls. "After ahll, he coulda killed meh a lohng tihme agoh. I think he wanted to hurt youh."
[Swallowing my food, I licked my lips.]
"After all, for a demon, the next best thing to the despair of a living cat is the despair of another demon, I bet."
[I scratched my ear, thinking.]
"Ah, but then that would explain what I saw before I came. That must've been Fathom's soul shooting off into the sky. Course...that's why he couldn't stop Blood from killing Leopardstorm. I didn't think I saw Fathom's soul when Blood was talking to me anyway, which confused me..."
[I pondered the thought, flicking my ears.]
(( AAAND Forsaken gets a huge obviously obvious hint that Purekit can see souls. :B ))

Forsaken had already pledged its alegence to him, or did he wish to control Forsaken completely, watch it suffer in his cruel paws. Forsaken let out a low growl.] You will never control me Blood. NEVER! [but one thing confused the demon, if Blood wanted Forsaken to suffer than why go after Purepaw? Forsaken thought for a while slowly the beating in its chest started to grow louder and louder. Forsaken then realized, it started to panic! its eyes trailed down to it's chest now producing heat instead of the normal cold atmosphere it usually did! The demon's eyes shot over to Purepaw, in hopes that she didnt notice!] "i, i have to go for a bit..." [Forsaken then without an answer started to slink out of the tree knot. quicly the demon conseled itself, hiding in the darkness. Nervously, it listened to the sound, a disgusted look on it's face as if the heart was a horrible parasite, which as far as Forsaken was concerned, it was. It clawed into its chest to find that there was something there! Forsaken let out a terrified cry! It was NOT supposed to be there!!!] _____________________________________ ...can cure me of this curse.
