"You should though..Cause..i did have an affair." Alex whispered. "I'm horrible." alex said crying again. He didn't want to tell Zeke that he liked the affair he had with Jakiel a lot.

Zeke's face turned blank. "Wait...so then you were telling the truth!" His expression became one that was horrified. "Why? Was it the distance?"
Jakiel was walking down the street, munching on a flatbread sandwich. He then spotted Alex with another man. "Hmm?" He gulped down the rest of his sandwich. "Yo, Alex! Made a new friend?"

"Y-yes.." Alex said softly. He looked up when Jakiel called to him. "This is Zeke.." Alex said tears in his eyes.

Jakiel chuckled. "This is him?" He walked over and leaned close. "A gankyou* (glasses) who hates studying. His eyes reveal passion, but a lack for intellect." He stood back up and smiled. "The name's Jakiel. Occupation: mad scientist. And I'm damned proud of it."
Zeke leaned back. "I'm guessing this is your new friend." Then he asked calmly, 'is it him?"

"Yes." Alex said as he cried. he wiped away his tears afraid of what Zeke would do.

Zeke nodded his head slowly. "I see. So you're the one responsible for leading him astray..." He stood up, then swiftly threw a punch at Jakiel.
"What?" Jakiel saw the punch coming and barely dodged it. But he took the second one in the gut. He growled and started throwing his own punches. "What teh hell is your problem!?"

"Stop it!" Alex screamed as he stood up "Please stop!" He screamed again as tears streamed down his eyes. "It wasn't all Jakiels fault! It was mine too!"

Zeke kept throwing and recieveing punches until he was exhausted and sat down on the ground. "Knowing him, he probably told you he was in a relationship, so...why did you do it?"
By now, Jakiel already had an idea about what was going on. "I wanted him. And I knew he was in a distanced relationship. But I tried, just for the sake of my own selfish ambitions. A kind of...bet on how much life I could experience before I died..."
Zeke's eyes widened. "You...you're planning to become a zombie!?" He had remembered what Alex had told him.

Alex sobbed as he covered his face with his hands. He felt something between the both of them and it was hurting both of them too.

Jakiel nodded. "Yep. I was on my way to meet an embalmer just now." He stopped and looked at Alex. "Oh...s***..." He ran over to Alex and rest his hand on top of his head. "...It's not yer fault Alex. I calculated this possibility as way. Excuse me for my selfishness..."
Zeke couldn't believe it. Alex had fallen for a mad scientist who was obsessed with becoming a zombie!? What the hell!? "How...could this happen?"
"Dunno. Love is invincible like that..." Jakiel replied. "Or is it lust?"

"Alex..." Jakiel sighed, his eyes softening. "It won't work. We're just too different. I mean, you're incredible. You're the type to rapidly become popular. I would soon end up dead anyway before I turned 25. You have a loving boyfriend already. I mean, look, he came all the way out here to check on you!"
Zeke cleared his throat as he stood up. "Well...that was my intention when I first came up here but..." He looked at Alex. "...Goodbye, Alex. Looks like we couldn't make it work after all." He then turned to Jakiel. "b*****d... Remember this. Don't waste this chance or I'll kill you myself."

Alex sobbed harder as he wrapped his arms around himself. He could feel his heart breaking.

"Geez, man... Way to break it off..." Jakiel then gently wrapped his arms around Alex. "Oi, now...is your parents home? If not, we can go to the lab and you can stay there until you're all better." He rubbed the boy's back. "...If it's gonna be like this, I'll have to postpone my plans. Probably an entire year..." He was trying to cheer Alex up by saying he wouldn't become a zombie if he needed him.
Zeke watched them for a moment before leaving. He returned to the train station. I came up here to check on him, only to have my hopes and image of him destroyed. Love is truly cruel when distance. He remembered Alex's cryign face. I've never seen him cry like that. And the guy handled it so calmly... He gripped his chest as it burned with kealousy, anger, and his own heartbreak.
