Seth listened intently to her advice and when she offered he climb back onto his bed. Sure he a had a thousand questions, all of them interconnected all of them irrelevant at the moment, one kept coming back to the forefront of his mind.
"This is going sound very naive and stupid, but seeing as I am a virgin, what is it like to kiss someone?"

Libby sat up. She was trying to remember it for herself - that one time when it was not a lure. "It's dry and empty, almost useless. Then again, I've never kissed someone outside of leading them to their death. I try not to associate emotions with such trivial things."
The demon leaned against the wall. "However, if you want a more human point of view, it's supposedly the most tender thing that you can share with a loved one, feelings seeping in from both sides." It was the best that she could offer him with her own limited experience.

Seth didn't like her answer, she seemed to hold something back, but he didn't want to pry into that. These demons couldn't be heartless, they were just different. Needed different things, different food, but emotionless was something they couldn't be.
"That sounds like a textbook answer. You have had to felt something kissing someone at some time. Thousands of years of life and not a single iota feeling of love. That just seems unlikely." Seth rolled off the bed and grabbed his laptop. He jumped back on the bed and began working on something.

Libby rolled her eyes as Seth began tinkering with something. She had experienced love once and she had made sure never to kiss him. "I loved once but that was a long time ago. I have no use for it anymore. And before you can ask, no, I never kissed him. I didn't have the chance to."
Her eyes did not change colour this time, just looked sad. It was before the curse, obviously. She had been weak for weeks and would have died if he had not come along. She had known that she loved him for more than his emotional juices but that did not stop the inevitable. Before a week had passed since their meeting, he was dead - drained of any confidence or pride. Libby shook her head at the vague memory and looked over Seth's shoulder. "Anyway, what are you working on?"

"Sounds like your wants weren't strong enough to battle your needs. I don't know. I'm sure you could love again, but you'd have to work on your self control. I shouldn't say anything though, your desires and needs are beyond my comprehension." He was to engrossed to actually debate with her, which he could. Though Seth was knowledgeable is a lot of things having taken a dozen college level classes his junior and senior years.
"I'm working on a new bike design." He turned the screen so she could see the drawing he was modifying. It had virtual airflow and aerodynamics running over the body of the bike.
"You can make a bike faster by thirty miles and hour by just changing the drag on the body of the bike. Mine has a ton of drag, but I fight that with a ton of power." He chuckled as he modified another line of the bike and the drag ratio dropped below point zero six.
"Now you maybe asking why I'm not in an engineering class when I can do this, cause I don't like that. History is a passion design his a hobby for when I burn out on history."

When she felt Vassili put his arms around her hugging her she first jumped not expecting him to be there but then her arms wrapped around his her hands clutching onto his shirt on his back as her face went under his neck. Her tears were almost done but it felt so good to have someone holding her he didn't even have to say anything or comfort her just his arms wrapped around her was enough for Alex. Her breathing starting to slowly calm down as her tears began to dry up, her hands relaxing as well as she took a deep breath in and then out her emotions getting a much better control of themselves.

"I doubt it," Libby mumbled, shifting over to see the screen clearer. It was interesting, to say the least. She had a thing for speed but her present Master's method of driving did not hurt too much. "I guess then that you like the challenge?" She was on her front now, looking up at the design changes from where the laptop was in his lap. "So, you love History but only like this. Is that it?" For some reason, she was having a hard time processing this. Were human emotions never stable enough to have the same reactions to more than one entity? As far as she could recall, all of her victims had been treated in the same cold and hungry manner.

Aimee breathed a small sigh of relief. Lilly, of course, didn’t notice; she was too busy flirting with Vincent. Aimee didn’t mind that much; she knew that Lilly wouldn’t do anything that she considered to be wrong. They’d never had much of an issue with their mutual boyfriends. And, on the rarest of rare occasions, they’d shared one or two before. Of course, Vincent needn’t know that. Ever. 'I'm telling her this weekend, after her art show. She's been stressing out it for a while, trying to get everything finished and perfect. After, Lilly's always her old self again.'
“We don’t usually eat in. Despite what Aimee says, she can’t really cook.”
Aimee made a face at Lilly. She drifted over to join the couple at the sinks, wrapping her arms around her friend from the rear; Aimee rested her head on Lilly’s shoulder, the latter leaning back into her friend.
“I cook better then you, at least.”
“Everyone cooks better than me, Aimee. Everyone knows that. Saying that you cook better than me is like saying you swim better then a goat.”
They shared a laugh at their inside joke. It was only after they'd sobered somewhat up again did Aimee think to answer Vincent's question.
“I have to finish my story tonight, Vincent; the editor is riding my a** again. But Lilly’s free, I think.”

Vassili rocked her gently and pulled her into his lap as he sat all the way down. Two days and he was already in risk of breaking the rules. He emotions were hurt, her mind numb, but still intact. The impulse to rectify his mistake was overwhelming and he would have to deal with it after she fell asleep.
"Let's get you upstairs and ready for bed. Its been a long day and a good nights sleep will do wonders." He cradled her in his arms and stood up without effort holding her ever so gently.

Seth redrew and reanalyzed ever line of the bike, modifying it constantly. He had been working on the design for two years now and still hadn't gotten the drag coefficient below point zero five.
"Yeah that's about the gist of it, love history like to design. Anyway I'm nearly there." He redrew another line and this dropped the drag down to just point zero five one.
"That is the closet I've gotten to perfection yet. With a rider on the bike the drag raises between point zero seven when flush to the bike and point one when riding normally. So I have to get the drag below point zero five, hopefully down to point zero four without increasing weight. Any insight from a mind that is completely different." His hand went out and stroked her back automatically, her advice already seeping in. He was treating her not as his protector, but as an equal.

Vincent watched the girls intermingle and still the thought of them intertwined and nude raced back to his head. He would have to get them to do that. Shouldn't be to hard.
"Alright then love don't work to hard." He kissed Aimee hard on the lips, his tongue dipping into her mouth momentarily to tease hers. He pulled away a gleeful look in his eye as Lilly had watched every second of the kiss. She looked hungry for something else.
"So Lilly what shall we do while the erstwhile writer works?"
'Yeah well I hope she doesn't freak out. Also hope you don't mind if I use her for my special needs.' He mentally chuckled letting that pass through as well.

'You just fed...do you have to use her like that?' Aimee kissed Vincent back almost eagerly. Before it got too far along, she pulled back, and gave Lilly another tight hug and let her go.
"Don't stay up too late you two; we have class in the morning, Lilly."
Aimee gave Vincent a last warning look and hurried off to her room and laptop to finished the piece. Lilly on the other hand, just gave Vincent a coy little smile.
"Have you have taken a walk at night, in the park?"

She placed her arms around him to hold herself into place as he carried her. She rested her head on his shoulder as she closed her eyes. "Thank you" she said softly to him "For everything you have done for me so far, it's amazing that you were bound by this necklace" she said. He was a hard man to read though and for all Alex knew he was just doing this because of her wearing the necklace but at this point she didn't care she just wanted the feel of someone caring for her even if it is pretend.

Libby looked in interest as Seth continued to explain the mechanics of the bike to her. She was about to respond when his hand passed over her back. Involuntarily, she arched into the touch but managed stifle a moan. It had been a while since anyone had touched her like that but the demon thought less of it at a time like this. "Why don't you lighten another part of the bike so it opens more room for balance between the rest? It's just a thought."

Vincent looked back as Aimee left and then back at Lilly. "No I haven't why don't you take me for a walk." He chuckled as he sent another pulse to Aimee.
'No I don't have to, but if she starts coming on to me don't expect my self control to last very long.'
They left the door and headed out it was starting to get darker and a little cooler, Vincent had to remember to heat his skin when she pulled his arm around her. It was obvious those two had shared guys before and Lilly was under the impression that Vincent was going to e one of those guys,
