Horu watched and clapped a few times in approval. He hated to admit it, but he was actually having a really, really good time. But then again, he always did while fighting. "Right, good, good. Now onward to stage two. But be careful, because this is where the moves start posing a threat to you of you do them wrong." He coughed quietly to cut the attention. "Right, now then. The back repels. It's very similar to the upward repel. Except, once you've blocked the attack you actually let go of the blade. Which tricks the enemy into thinking you've messed up so they let your guard down. Then, you spin gracefully behind them, catch the knife as it comes back down and you shank the ******** in the back or side." Walking over to the test dummy, he demonstrated. Slicing upwards, letting go of the blade and allowing it to fly over the enemies head. He spun around the side of the "enemy" and grabbed it on the other side. In one, quick fluid motion he stabbed the testing dummy in the back.

Giving him time to practice it, he moved out of the way to explain the next one. "Now, the change of hands. Simple enough. You slash with the blade in one hand, and then you quickly pass it to the other. Usually by tossing it since it's quicker. Doing this, you can launch a very unpredictable flurry of attacks that is much harder to dodge then usual." He demonstrated a few times, fluidly slicing and passing the knife to his other hand and then slicing again to show just how much of a ballad of death one could unleash in this way.

Once again giving him time to practice it, he would then move on to the next move. "For this next trick, you're going to learn something new. It's called the kneecap surprise. Why is it called that you ask? Well let me show you. During the middle of a flurry of attacks, usually using the change of hands you just learned. You steady yourself, and without giving them time to react you throw the blade into the opponents leg. Preferably the knee cap. If done right, this can and will bust the persons knee cap and stop them from running away." Hiromi already knew how to do the slashes, so the only part he needed to demonstrate was the throwing. Targeting it with his Byakugan, he through the Kunai without even looking at it and jammed it straight through the knee of the dummy. "Although you might not want to try doing it without looking at it. I can only do that because my eyes are a bit special, you see. But we'll get to that later." He walked over and removed his Kunai.

Twirling the Kunai on his index finger using the ring on the end of it, he waited for Hiromi to get that one down before moving on. "Next, the swift dart. Again, you'll be throwing it. But this time you want to charge your hand with a small amount of chakra. When you throw it, the projectile will move with a decently increased speed. Slicing through the air and making no noise." He demonstrated, although because he felt like showing off he hurled the blade with all of his strength. Causing it to no only hit the practice dummy straight between the eyes, but the kunai went clean through it and buried into the wall behind it.

Horu felt a little bad about this one. Because this one could actually hurt him if he did it wrong. "This one will probably be the trickiest move I've had to teach you thus far. So for the love of all that's holy pay attention and be careful. I'm going to need you to juggle your weapon. Start off with one. Practice throwing it in the air and catching it by the hilt. Then, if you get that right. Add a second one and literally juggle it. You can practice throwing here too if you want. But I'd ideally like you to focus on juggling it." He pulled out several Kunai, juggling them all like a circus performer. "Now, by the time you reach a greater level of skill you will be able to do this. But just start small for now alright?"

Putting them away, he placed his Kunai at his side as if to simulate it being in a sheath. "Alrighty then. This is the end of stage two. A simple but useful technique for anyone. You just need to draw your blade from it's resting place, and then attack with it without stopping to get into a stance. Just draw and strike. Draw and strike. Draw and strike. Got it?" He demonstrated it a few times just for good measure.

Rank: Genin _____Age: Eighteen_____ Class: Multi-Elemental Ninjutsu _____Chakra Pool: 375 / 375 _____
_____OOC: Nothing to say... _____Theme Song: Here _____ In A Relationship With: No one...
__________Technique Used: None _____ Elements: Suiton, Doton, & Fuuton. _____ Mood: Excited.
_____Objective: [Train with the Mizukage.]

Hiromi watched the first technique being performed for him. Since he already knew how to parry an attack, this technique would hopefully not be so bad since it involved a simple follow-up to what he had already learned. Hiromi carefully began to parry upwards when he was next to a dummy like before when he first learned the technique. To add on to it though, he then threw his blade upwards before doing a twirl until he was next to the opponent and right under his blade. He cautiously caught it before doing a pathetic slash at the testing dummy. Since it seemed like that was all that needed to be done, he turned back to the Mizukage and awaited him to show him the next technique.

The next technique seemed a bit easier as well since it simply involved switching a knife from hand to hand, a lot less dangerous then what he’d been doing before this.
As Hiromi slashed at the air, he cautiously moved his dagger to his other hand, careful to make sure he didn’t cut himself in the process of doing so. Since he was naturally right-handed, he didn’t do a good job swinging the knife with his left hand but he knew that it probably wouldn’t make all too much of a difference since it was mainly used for simply confusing the enemy when it came to close combat.
As he finished up the switching of blades, he assumed that it was pretty much okay since the Mizukage was now moving on to yet another technique.

The next technique made Hiromi shutter slightly. He really didn’t want to break anyone’s knee-cap since it wouldn’t be nice to do such a thing to anyone at all. It’d probably be something he avoided doing unless it just had to be done. He carefully went over the switching hands technique, slashing at a testing dummy as he did so. Eventually he’d need to do a flip and stab it in the knee which, to his hopes, wouldn’t take too much time to accomplish since he knew how to do flips from training in the Academy.
After slashing and switching hands a few times, Hiromi did a back-flip. While, he was in the air, he launched the combat knife into the knee of the testing dummy.
He then landed on his feet and pulled the knife out before bashfully looking over to the Mizukage and awaiting what needed to be done next.

The next technique was a bit more complicated since it involved charging up the blade with chakra. However, since Hiromi was training with the Mizukage, he could easily see how it was to be done. As a result of this, he made it a personal mission to do just as well when it came to charge up his knife.
Hiromi closed his eyes and began to focus on his knife with much more vigilance than necessary. He really wanted to get this right and there was nothing he hated more than having to retry things because he messed them up.
After focusing for a moment and making sure that the knife was completely juiced with chakra, he launched it at the testing dummy. It soared through the air with such a speed, that in a matter of milliseconds it was caught in the chest of the dummy. Since it wasn’t exactly as potent as the Mizukage’s technique, it really didn’t do much of anything else like pierce through the dummy.

The next technique made Hiromi feel slightly uneasy since he’d have to be juggling his combat knife which, in his opinion, really seemed unnecessary to a successful day of training. Hiromi carefully launched his combat knife into the air and watched as it swirled around. It came down and, as Hiromi tried to catch it, cut the back of his wrist. The cut that resulted wasn’t severe, but it was deep enough to cause some bleeding. “A-Ah! Oh no!” Hiromi quickly rushed over to his bag and pulled out some gauze that he quickly wrapped around his arm to stop the bleeding. “O-One more time.” Hiromi launched the blade in the air again, much more careful this time, and by some sort of miracle, managed to catch the blade by its hilt.
Not exactly wanting to try that again, Hiromi moved on to the last technique.

Hiromi didn’t exactly have a sheath for this next technique since he left his combat knife in his bag, but he decided to practice and use the technique to the best of his abilities. It would be much easier than what he’d had to learn so far since this was one of the few techniques that didn’t involve hurtling a knife through the air. It did also seem practical as well. “H-Here… I go.” Hiromi put his combat knife to his side before quickly swinging it upwards. He did this several times, doing his best to make sure he had the rhythm and flow of such an intricate technique down. He didn’t really like learning Bukijutsu, but eventually it would help him out whenever he was in a pinch of a situation.

As he finished up the rest of stage two, Hiromi turned to the Mizukage and let out a sigh of relief before falling to the dojo’s floor. P-Please… no more. I’m-I’m exhausted.” Hiromi’s body was pretty frail so things like this tended to fatigue him rather quickly anyways.

Horu stared at the blood for a moment, his blood lust kicking in. But he managed to calm himself. "Sure thing. Don't worry about it, you did good." He brushed his hair back with one hand, for the first time revealing his active Byakugan, the bulging veins around his eyes and everything. He walked over, sitting down on a bench and patting the seat next to hit. Beckoning for Hiromi to join him. "Two stages of a style ain't bad for only one days work. So don't worry about it. What you lack in physical strength you more then make up for in determination. Besides, this style is centered more around not being seen in the first place and pinpoint attacks. You don't really even need a lot of physical strength to pull it off well. It just helps." He leaned back in the chair, his shirt opening more to reveal his various tattoos. "So I read from your file that you're a ninjutsu specialist, huh? That works out just fine really. I cover close range, you stick back and cover the long range with your wide array of ninjutsu that you will be learning. Sound good to you?"

Hiromi struggled to his feet and walked over to the Mizukage before sliding next to him on the bench. It’d been a long day already and Hiromi had no intentions of training any longer. “Th-Thank you.” Hiromi blushed as the Mizukage complimented his excellent work for the day. It really meant a lot coming from the Mizukage himself, especially since he knew the ins and outs of the Bukijutsu and Taijutsu.
“Y-Y-You think I-I’m determined? U-Uh, I guess I am… I never thought that of myself… But, I think that it would m-make sense.” Hiromi thought about it for a moment, recalling his life and all the moments where he pushed forward. He’d already mastered all the ninjutsu he could at this point and knew that he could cause some serious damage.

Hiromi only briefly glanced at the Mizukage’s chest and tattoos but quickly shoved his undesirable thoughts into the back of his head. He had to constantly remind himself that the Mizukage was as straight as could be and there was no way he’d even find Hiromi remotely attractive after he found out the truth, if he didn’t know already. It was as Hiromi thought this that he heard the Mizukage strike up a suggestion of being his partner in combat. Realizing that it wasn’t every day someone was offered such an honorary position, Hiromi quickly jumped up and threw his face right next to the Mizukage’s. “Y-You really mean it~!? I-I-I’d love to! I-I’m uh, I mean… Sure, I could do that.” Hiromi threw his arms around the Mizukage in a friendly hug. He was so excited right now that he was just about ready to burst. “I-I won’t let you down! I-I’ll become the b-best ninjutsu expert ever!”
Hiromi kept his arms wrapped around the Mizukage, not wanting to let go. If the Mizukage asked though then he’d have no other choice, but right now he was just brimming with excitement.

Horu grinned broadly. Which was much more obvious now that his face was no longer covered by his hair. The veins around his eyes subsided and his eyes returned to normal as he turned his Byakugan back off. He was just about to reply to him when he was hugged. His immediate response to being touched would usually be to punch him square in the face. But he resisted it. Something told him that if he punched little Hiromi then he'd more then likely break him. And not only that, but he really just didn't want to. So instead, he just patted him softly on the back a few times. "I err....Don't mention it." His hand remained on Hiromi's back, but his eyes were looking elsewhere, attempting to suppress a certain natural reaction in his pants. He coughed awkwardly and stood up quickly, turning around and hoping he hadn't noticed. "So uhh...Yeah, good work. We can continue training tomorrow. You'll do great. Anyhow, I heard the Chuunin exams are coming up. Are you interested in signing up for them?"

Hiromi hadn’t noticed anything as the Mizukage stood up, although he was slightly shocked that the Mizukage had pushed him off ever so swiftly. When he realized that the Mizukage had something about the Chuunin exams, Hiromi merely shrugged. He’d been training for these things but he just felt like maybe he wasn’t really ready for the burden of such intense exams. “I uh, I don’t know. I-I think I’m ready. I-It’s just, well, well never mind.”
Hiromi picked up his bag and placed it on his back before smiling at the Mizukage once more, even though he was now smiling at his backside. “Th-Thank you so much. I-I feel like, I’m important or something! It-It’s hard to explain. B-But, I-I’ve heard ru-rumors that you w-were mean. They’re hard to believe now.” Hiromi danced around for a moment, still brimming with happiness after being asked to be the Mizukage’s partner in combat. He’d never thought that anyone would think so highly of him. “W-Where are you go-going now? C-Can I come?” Hiromi approached the Mizukage, still standing behind him though. He really didn’t want to try and make it seem like he would lead the way so Hiromi made it a personal mission to stand behind the Mizukage.

Horu listened, turning around once more when the "situation" had corrected itself. "Important? Of course you are. Everyone in this village is important and everyone has something to contribute." He found himself smirking in a very sly manner. "Well, I dunno about that. I'm only really mean to my enemies, Hiromi. But that's just a part of being a Kage. I have to fight for the people in the village who can't defend themselves. We all do. And a part of that is occasionally having to be very, very mean. But either way, you're welcome." He stuffed his hands behind his head, looking over with his eyes at Hiromi. His stomach rumbled loudly and he let out a nervous laugh. "Well...I appear to be hungry. So I'm going to go get some food, I guess. You're free to come with me if you like. My treat?" He began walking to lead the way.

Hiromi nodded happily as the Mizukage offered something eat. He’d never went to eat with anyone before besides his mother when she was alive so this might be really fun. “O-Of course!” Hiromi decided that since he’d be the Mizukage’s partner, he’d need to spend a lot more time with him, but at the same time, he needed to train and become stronger too so that he could help out the Mizukage when it came to things like fighting. If he could become a Chuunin, then Hiromi knew a whole world of possibilities could open up to him. Who know, maybe he’d finally understand a new element like Katon or Raiton.
As the Mizukage left the building, Hiromi followed closely behind, wondering if it would be okay to cuddle the Mizukage as they walked. He’d probably get pushed off though and told to stop since the Mizukage didn’t really seem to be the touchy and feeling type like Hiromi was.

Wednesday came back into the academy and grabbed a few brown books before sitting in a corner by herself. She cracked open the book and immediately found something that was interesting to her. The third eye technique. She read on and got the gist of the jutsu rather easily. She could easily perform this without trying. So she moved on. Her next jutsu was the earth spears. 'Doton • Doryuusou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. After forming the needed hand seals, spears of stone will raise from the ground to pierce the target. The technique can be countered by an opponent who hardens their body with a stronger Earth Element jutsu. " Simple enough. Easily performable by her and readily available material. Scrolling through the page she looked at the next jutsu. this one was a little trickier but seemed like itd be worth it. 'This jutsu creates one single clone out of the ground. Its defense is incredible, and it's very powerful, but lacks speed. The difference from the normal clone is that this one comes from heated earth, making it's skin almost volcanic and painful to touch. The bunshin can use one Doton jutsu. Using several handsigns, the user will call forth a blazing hot clone. ' She shut the book and thought of one of festers experiments back home. He did something similar once...before it exploded. She let the book fall open and a single technique really caught her eye. The phalanx technique. She read the description. 'This technique creates a phalanx of semi-animate stone figures with large shields, tiger heads, and giant pikes. The phalanx of monsters are as fast as a genin, but may only fight as a single unit. They can not stray more than 3 feet from one another. The performer of this technique must remain at the center of this phalanx or the phalanx will become immobile. Creates 8 figures with a single handsign, surrounding the user. The phalanx can take a C-ranked attack without breaking apart.' She focused her chakra in the manner stated and the stone warriors materialized outside a bit rough around the edges but effectively. She could refine them through more work she supposed. The good thing was they had their spears and could attack in theory. She flipped to the academy section and set about learning a very simple technique which she felt would compliment her.' Bikou Ninjutsu is the technique ninjas use to follow their targets covertly. The manner in which the ninja shadows their target can differ, from the basic hiding under a nearby object, to using a jutsu to turn oneself invisible while stationary.'She focused her chakra and giggled as she faded from view. She rarely did things like this and it would send people in the area chills from the sound of it. She paused and shut the earthen tome to pull out her book on puppetry again. Well not so much her book as much as the one shed been walking around with. She opened back up to the laws page and smiled as she read. She immediately flipped back to the jutsu she had skipped and started learning them.

First on the list was the unsummon. Simple enough in effect, as instead of bringing something from her scroll shed be putting it back. In effect this was actually slightly harder than bringing it out of the scroll to be sure but she managed it on her second try.

Moving on she scrolled to the next stage of summoning the puppets themselves. This one was described as to summon a total of three puppets. Shouldnt be hard. Just apply three times the chakra as the first right? apparently this wasnt true. She went another route to try and double the chakra for the first stage. Then double it again. This time she felt the success of the jutsu.

Next she moved onto the strings for said stage. The problem wasnt the strings as she could already put ten strings out. But to control three puppets with ten strings was a little trickier. She shoved some strings into her book and started waving three pages back and forth. This wasnt really helping the jutsu as it wasnt complex but it did help her to move the pages in different manners than before. She instead used her own body and started controlling various aspects of herself using the strings. This was a bit more productive as the body was much more complex than her puppets. She felt success hit as she "played" with herself. She checked it off her list and moved along.

The next two were a bit trickier. Though Wednesday loved the prospect of so many combatants under her control. She felt the technique to summon ten puppets would require much more chakra than it was claiming. This was actually making her overpower the jutsu and causing it to fail. The ten false puppets aka paperclips and pencils were refusing to come out of the scroll in one go. She just had to keep shoving them into her scroll and trying to resummon them. She stopped for a moment, highly irritated and took a deep breath to try and calm herself. The combinations of odd missions and difficulty of this jutsu was wearing on her imperturbable patience. She readied her seals and tried again this time producing seven of the objects she had tried to summon before. She was getting closer. With a final try she did summon all the objects successfully and then started attacking strings to each one individually.

Getting the strings attached was no problem. Getting them to move was definitely the issue. She found she could get them to move in one solid direction but couldn't get them to do anything while moving. That was essential to her strategies. She had a simple idea to solve the problem. One sting would branch itself to each part on the puppet it was assuming control of. Then the individual sub-strings could be plucked at to make them do the actions as required of them. Now alls she had to do was fine tune the actions for this many items, then push the ten puppets dance to her families level of it being second nature. She had the various instruments dance across the table in intricate arcs, back and forth at varying speeds. She had the scissors pause and spin in place, digging shavings of wood out of the table. She had a pencil balance on top of the scissors and then two others hover near it to make the symbol on this young girls shirt across the yard. She nodded happy with it and detached her strings to check her book again and see if their was more to learn at her level. Satisfied that their wasnt, she shut her book and made a mental note to buy a back pack. Or more summoning scrolls.

Horu walked into the dojo and stood in the middle. He was much faster then the others, so he had made it there before the others had. He looked around, noting that he was alone for now. Shrugging, he walked into the middle of the room and began doing some stretching. His body was far more flexible then most people, so he could bend and contort into positions that most people would probably dislocate their joints just by attempting. After a few minutes he stopped and walked over, sitting down and waiting for them to get there.

Mizuki slowly walked into the Academy, still unconcerned for what was going on at this point. She had forgotten that she came to the Academy with the Mizukage in the first place so she was actually kind of shocked to see him there as well. "Whoa, I totally can't believe that the Mizukage is here. He must totally be spying on us. Oh wait, or is it that we're like, spying on him. Maybe his inner aura is like, so advanced, that like, he's totally attracting people without even knowing it."
Conrad nodded to Mizuki who nodded back. They both stood there and nodded to each other for at least a minute. Their minds tended to be complete blanks most of the time anyways. "Maybe like, we should totally ask him to train with us. I mean like, look at him. He's all strong and muscular like, he could probably teach us some Taijutsu or whatever."
Conrad nodded again but said nothing as he was too busy staring at the ceiling to say anything of meaning. "Go on your journey dude, don't like, let anyone tell you no."
Mizuki turned around and walked up to the Mizukage but said nothing. Instead, she just stared at his tattoo, slightly forgetting why she was there for a bit.

Hiromi quietly walked into the Dojo to see Mizuki and her dog discussing something about the Mizukage. Hiromi didn’t care all too much, but what they were saying sort of sounded like they had no idea that the Mizukage was actually there to train them. “U-Um, well, you-you see, U-uh, never mind…” Hiromi turned to the Mizukage and waved before sitting down. He wouldn’t know anything about training in the dojo since he wasn’t exactly a Taijutsu expert like the Mizukage or his trainees for the day. Instead, Hiromi would just hang around and quietly observe all the oddities of the two new recruits.

Horu stood and watched the two enter. "Right, now then. Now that you're both here we can begin. Hiromi, you will be learning some more of the Bukijutsu I taught your earlier. Mizuki, I will be teaching you to use the eight gates. I need to explain the importance of using them to you so I'll do that once I've got Hiromi started." He walked over to the training dummy. Waving for Hiromi to follow him. "We're starting on stage three today. So I'll be teaching you the knife punt. Once you've managed to somehow drop the enemies defenses, either by parrying or something along those lines. You drop your knife and punt it upwards. Usually into the enemies head. Like so." He pulled out a Kunai and dropped it, punting it on the handle and sending up upwards with some considerable force into the chin of the dummy. He pulled his Kunai out after finishing his demonstration and walking over to Mizuki. "The eight inner gates is a Taijutsu style that can grant great power. A well prepared Genin using this style can even surpass a Kage in strength. But it comes at a downside, being un prepared and inexperienced will cause the higher gates to cause great damage to you. The eight gate always means death, so don't use it unless you absolutely have to. I'd like you to stick to a maximum of three for now. There are only three sets of circumstances that I will permit you to go further then that. Those are: Life or death situations, protecting someone very important to you and third but by no means least, protecting your Nindo." He stood in a more relaxed stance. "The first and second gate are located on the brain. The third is located on the spinal cord. Learning to use them the first time is similar to meditation. Focus on it, relax and then force it open. Try this with the first one. I can demonstrate if you'd prefer however."

Mizuki stared at the Mizukage with her jaw gaping open. She’d never expected him to teach her so willingly even though he’d pretty much said he would many times now. As he explained how to unlock the gates, Mizuki began to slowly understand what was really going on. “Whoa dude, it’s like we’re totally going to be unlocking our inner aura. I could totally go for that.”

Mizuki took several steps back so that she was in the center of the Dojo, slightly away from everyone else. She’d done many ‘self-discoveries’ before so she was sort of hoping this would be like this. With a final Shaka-hand sign, she smiled and closed her eyes so that she could go on another discovery of herself. She started by trying to figure out how to completely unlock her mind to unleash all her hidden potential. Since she wasn’t naturally a Taijutsu user, this technique wouldn’t be all too easy for her to master so she’d really have to focus and buckle-down for a bit.
As she meditated to herself, she began to wonder whether or not she’d actually even accomplish this. It was such a powerful and complex technique and maybe not even many people would attempt it since it could be self-destructive to the soul. However, as she thought this, something strange happened. She felt her body begin to tighten and her face began to heat up, almost as though she were to begin over-heating. It was strange. The more she thought about it, the more she felt like she was getting closer to unlocking the gate. Slowly, she opened her eyes and looked around. She could feel her hair rising into the air as though a power was rising upwards and out of her body. “Dude, I totally think I did it. I mean like, just look at me, aren’t I rad?” However, she didn’t stop there. Now that she was done with the first gate, she decided to do something much more useful and even move on to the second.

As her body felt as though it were twitching, she could tell that maybe it was only the side-effects of the technique she’d just performed which was unlocking the first gate. The next gate would be a bit more helpful to her though since it would completely rejuvenate her body, or so she’d heard from books anyways. Now that she thought about it, she was actually quite happy that she’d finally decided to focus a bit more on her training instead of getting baked like she normally would at this time of day. “I’m totally in touch with myself Conrad. Like, it’s totally crazy but I can definitely feel my body totally entering the atmosphere of passion and knowledge. Ask me like, a question or something and I could probably answer it because like, I’m totally wise right now.” Mizuki twitched a little as she finished up her sentence, probably because of the effects of the first gate. However, she could feel her body getting closer and closer to the end of this complicated and extreme training. She went back to meditating and focused more so on the ability to unlock the second gate which she believed was right within her grasp if she really just applied herself.
She tightened her hand until they were in a fist and she gritted her teeth, forcing herself to become much more in synch and focused then before. After a moment, she began to feel refreshed, almost as though she’d just taken a shower. “Yuck, not cool dude. I totally feel like, I just like did something like, um, I guess refreshing or something.”
Mizuki opened her eyes and stood up, still in the second gate. “I’m totally in synch with my inner body, I’m so deep and mysterious now.”
