He listened quietly as she told him her nightmares.
"That is bad...Maybe...You were an angel...They said that if an angel wings are cut off from their own body, they turn human or something."
He rubbed her back.

Kaori felt tears poking out of her eyes like little weights.
'Excuse me,' she said, getting up and walking to the bathroom.

He sighed again and waited till she gets out of the bathroom.

She laughed lightly.
'I don't know how to explain it.'
She smiled a bit.
After a bit her face dropped.
'I'll be... back in a second.'
She walked to the bathroom again.

Kaori fiddled with the necklace in her hands.
'This locket was given to me by my aunt. It was in my mother's will along with Semper Fidelis. Would you like to see?'
She sat down on the bed gazing intently at the gold chain.

Kaori opened the locket up.
'My aunt says this was my mother at a festival back in their hometown. She was young here, maybe fourteen or maybe even my age.'
Her eyes started to glitter.
'Apparently many boys there were... trying to grab her attention. I don't see that in me, though. My mother was very outgoing, I guess you could say.'

Kaori sighed and closed the locket.
'Commenting on how my dead mother looks to you is an interesting reaction.'
Her gaze dropped and she attempted to put the necklace around her neck but gave up.

Crazed took the locket from Kaori's hand and placed it around her neck, closing the ends of the necklace.
"I admit she was pretty. I can see where you got your beauty from. To be honest, I thinker you're cuter."
He smiled gazing at her beauty.
