James fell silent.
"Yes, I'm sure Gailor would. After all, he needs to make an example of someone who dares defy him," Hana said, anger hidden behind her words. "But, like you said, that gives us some time to make plans for his rescue."

"We should at least attempt to make some headway toward the city. I don't believe they'll stop us from entering." Bjorn said. He had not been up-to-date on the news, and thus didn't know if they had put out posters for their arrest.

"Even if they did put wanted posters and stuff up, I'm sure my grandfather would help us. I mean, he isn't as young as he used to be, but he could be our eyes and ears in the city," James said.
"But...He's the elder isn't he? What if he gets caught?" Hana asked.
"Who would suspect an old man who has the entire city to think of to harbor fugitives, even if they are his own flesh and blood? Besides, it's better than nothing, right?"

"We have to try, at the very least." Bjorn said. But then again...if they tried and failed, Aki would be as good as dead before they could attempt a second chance. This was a difficult matter, and a delicate one.

 Renka remained silent as he wondered how he would keep his scythe hidden in the town they were planning on headed to. He tilted his head, "..I'm an unknown...only a handful have seen me with you. So I could help gather information while you rest and take cover." He suggested, but like he said..he was an unknown and they had no reason to trust him that much.

((that's not good.... *injects you with pure liquid sugar* ...did that help?)) He hesitated briefly, he didn't really have anything to hide, just a bit ashamed he didn't introduce himself sooner. "Renka Strauss, I'm a hunter from a small village." He didn't want to hide things from these people, but keeping the location of his home secret was nearly like a law..to help with that the village didn't even have a name.

Hana, although she would normally be more suspicious, let the small amount of information pass. "Well, seeing as how you helped us, I will trust you. Just don't let that trust be misplaced, or you will find yourself wishing you had never been born," she warned. Then she turned to the others. "Let's start heading for Tinto."

"I trust him. He had many chances to kill us. If he wanted to, he would have already." Bjorn pointed out. He nodded at her suggestion and started off in the direction of the town.

((XD That was Hana trying to be trusting. It didn't work too well, though. XD))
Hana followed after Bjorn, who was then followed by James. Looking at him, she noticed that he looked a bit worried.
"Don't worry. Aki will be fine," she said.
James shook his head. "It's not that. Well, it kind of is, but not the main thing. I'm worried about everyone in Tinto..."
"I see..." Hana turned around so she was walking backwards. "I'm sure they're fine. They have to be. There are some Gailor citizens there as well, so Gailor probably didn't hurt them," she told him, giving an encouraging smile. Then, because she wasn't looking where she was going, she tripped on a tree root and fell backwards.
"Ah!" She landed on the ground with a small thud. "Ow..."
((Heh. Comic relief. XD))

Bjorn looked over at Hana and laughed, smiling at her. He helped her back up. "Watch your step." he cautioned, much too late to be of use.

"Yeah yeah..." Hana said then glared at the tree root, as if it was its fault. Then she rubbed the back of her head, where there was a slight bump. "That hurt..."
James smiled. "Well you were the one who was walking backwards."

Aki sat in the back of his cell, leaning against the wall slightly. He just stared off into space. He was aware of the stares that the few other prisoners gave him, but he ignored them all. They probably had no clue of why he was in there, anyway. As if to prove his theory, one of the other people, a man, spoke to him.
"Well, you're a young one, aren't you, boy? What did you do the get in here?" he asked.
"The circumstances of my birth is what got me into this mess in the first place," Aki said, knowing it would only serve to confuse him.
The man, confused, figured he'd find out the answer soon enough and dropped it.
Soon everyone will know what I meant by that. Soon everyone will know who I am. And, because of who I am, I will probably be executed, Aki thought. Yet, despite his situation, he did not resent his birth, nor the parents who were responsible for his existence.

Renka followed, wondering why James and Bjorn were laughing considering the situation..but people from his village always did say he traded skill for humor when he was born. That made him a bit jealous of those two..just a bit though.. He leaned his head against the shaft of his scythe as he usually did when he was thinking while he walked. "...how do you plan on getting in the town..hiding in a wagon or something?" Renka never had to think of how to sneak in somewhere before..technically he didn't have to yet, but he was still curious.
