Troutpaw decided there was something he had to do. "Nightflame, get up now, we're going on a hunting patrol!" Troutpaw tried to say it without sounding mean or angry because he didn't want to put the cat down even more.
(trying to start the Madness in Seaclan so come on the patrol please. We'll find a dead animal with the signs of the madness that tries to attack us okay?)

"A meeting right now, my warrior ceremony!" Troutpaw said excitedly. "Yes yes ye oh no, the watch" Troutpaw had been somewhat worried about the day he would have to stand watch all night. "Hey Ravenfeather what was your vigil like? Could you give me some tips? Can I still go on the patrol with you guys?" There were question going through Troutpaw's head like crazy but he just asked the ones he thought he needed to know.

As the patrol came back Mosstar announced,"We will be having one apprentice ceremony and one warrior ceremony. First we will start with the apprentices ceremony. Flowerkit and Willowkit,you two are now old enough to be apprentices. Flowerkit you will be known as Flowerpaw and your mentor will be,Greenheart. Willowkit you will be now known as Willowpaw and you will be mentored by, Arrowshine. May Starclan light your path in your warrior training."Mosstar dipped her head at the two apprentices,a sudden anger rose in her throught out of nowhere and the clan hushed after their cheers for the two appreentices and stared oddly at me. Whats wrong? Im not mad at anything. Mosstar shook it off and said. "Troutpaw you proved the clan that you will be an excellant warrior even though you were made a rogue from your former clan, and had become a new apprentice all over again, Troutpaw,your warrior name will be Trouttail. Tonight you will not eat anything and sit vigil while the clan sleeps." Mosstar dipped her head and touched noses with Trouttail and the whole clan was calling Trouttails new name.

As the clan cheered my name I felt a courage well up inside me like never before. I had the courage to take on the nights vigil, I almost joined in on the crowd chanting my name but I remembered I couldn't speak until tomorrow. Can I still go on the patrol? I nodded toward the exit to the camp as if to ask if I could go.

Dustmoon wasnt really asleep but was only meditating on the whispering cats while also getting some rest. Im so glad that Arrowshine became a mentor of Willowpaw. Shes her first apprentice! Dustmoon was very pleased. He only had one apprentice, Pebblepaw, but he drowned while a shark dragged him into the depths of the sea. Thats the worst part about hunting in the ocean. Dustmoon thought.The spirits agreed with him,but they knew that this was their true home.

"Yes, Greenheart. Now I am going to go see if I can talk to Mosstar. I want to tell her how happy I am and that I am going to try to be one of the best apprentices she has ever seen." Flowerpaw told Greenheart.
