[[ This battle will be taking place atop the Sky Fortress Bahamut. As Ajora must be equal to an ordinary Earthling, here are his 6 Limit Breaks.

[Level 1] Harbinger of Conquest ~ Assimilation- Ajora's body melts into pure Darkness, which seeps into the battlefield underneath him. Suddenly, a living mat of dark matter in the form of dark gray mud rapidly spreads from the point of origin and covers the battlefield in its entirety, assimilating the land. Black, spiny tendrils can erupt from any point, whipping at the opponent or ensnaring them, and weak types of Unversed can spawn from anywhere covered by the mat to attack those within. Lasts for 3 turns before all traces get sucked back into the point of origin, where Ajora rises in the same condition he vanished.
[Level 2] Harbinger of War ~ Archon of Darkness [Limit Form]- Ajora's HP and MP are completely refreshed before his body disintegrates, becoming pure Darkness in humanoid form, with red lights where his eyes should be. While in this form, his HP and MP are combined into a single stat, meaning that any damage taken also drains him of energy, and any action of his that requires energy drains life force. As well, his PS is replaced by his MS and his PR is replaced by his MR; his weapon is forfeit, and in its place, permanent Dark Matter spheres. This lasts for 3 turns before Ajora reverts back to his original state, exactly how he was before the Limit was activated, but with 0 MP. [Can only be used as a Drive Finisher if his original target at the beginning of the Drive remains undefeated, lasts 3 turns]
[Level 3] Malleable Shadows- Ajora's Evasive Reflexes are permanently increased by 1.
[Level 4] Bloody Communion- Ajora's Magic Strength is permanently increased by 1.
[Level 5] Harbinger of Plague ~ Grand Cross- Calling forth the essence of pure negativity, Ajora summons a massive dark cross from the sky, which crashes upright into the battlefield before unleashing a wave of corrupting energy. All those struck by the energy will be assailed by a large number of status ailments, each to be calculated individually.
[Level 6] Harbinger of Death ~ Alpha and Omega- Ajora encases himself in a cocoon of energy; once the cocoon is completed, time seems to stop, all colors invert, and the battlefield begins to spin around rapidly. As this happens, a massive blast of energy (colored white) rockets downward from the sky, striking the cocoon. Time returns and colors revert as both the blast and cocoon erupt into a cataclysmic wave of energy that covers the battlefield.

And as for his second passive:

Seraphic Heir- Due to Ajora's supreme self-assurance and his achieving harmony with Ultima, he emits a suppressing aura about himself that lowers his opponents' most prominent strength by one whenever they directly and specifically oppose him. This is based purely on intent; so long as he is the target, directly or indirectly (such as boosting your strength or an ally's in order to fight him), the highest stat is lowered by one.

If it comes down to Drive Form, it will be a (dark) mirror image of Kyle's, stats and all. And speaking of stats...

And now, the beginning, setting post... as if this wasn't long enough... ]]

[ Yama's 東方 Touhou Unplugged/Classic Judgment in the 60th Year ]

Up this high, the light breeze had become a constant stream of air- not powerful enough to destabilize the young man standing on the metal alloy of the massive, floating tower, but strong enough to whip his hair about playfully, causing him to smile. He felt his green jacket blow back with the breeze as the gargantuan 'air ship' flew toward its destination, wherever that may be.

He glanced around at the masterpiece that was the Sky Fortress Bahamut. He stood on a large platform just near the top; not quite the 'roof', but it might as well have been, since it was the highest possible exit. A set of stairs descended from the giant double doors that gave access from the main fortress down to a long pathway, surrounded on either side by metal obelisks, which ended with another set of ascending stairs that stopped at the previous level. The stairs opened up to a massive circular platform, and directly beyond that was a sort of half-pipe, its sides even with the platform; a large wall stood at the end of the pipe. From either side of the circular platform, two curved paths jutted out and back toward the tower, 'fencing in' the walkway but leaving plenty of space between them to fall.

The doors opened behind him, and as he ran a gloved hand through his hair, he turned to give a grin to the man coming through. Ah, it was James. Pity that. As the man came into view, he waved for a moment, his green jacket still fluttering in the wind.

Alas, since it was James, such a disguise would be useless- he could smell like a hound. He let it fall shortly after James' appearance: Darkness soon enveloped him in a quick cocoon before being absorbed, leaving him clothed in a lax black suit with a crimson shirt underneath, black tie blowing lazily in the wind; black pants and shoes completed the outfit.

Ajora, the Bloody Executioner, stood in the center of the circular platform and summoned his swallow-spear in his right hand, which remained at his side, and awaited James' first move.

James walked out of the large doors, turning his attention briefly to them as they slammed with a boom that would normally have resounded throughout a room. However, in the air the sound had been greatly deadened, replaced by the constant stream of air. The corsair felt the wind blow through his hair, his hat braced by his left hand as he took a few steps out into the soon to be battlefield. He looked around at the scenery, the massive metal obelisks that were on his sides as he began to make his way up the walkway. After a few steps though he stopped, his nostrils flaring.

'Darkness...,' he thought, recognizing the scent that for the longest time had sent shivers down his spine.

His eyes now scanned directly ahead at the person who stood atop the stairs. They narrowed slightly at the visage of Kyle, waving to him briefly. Kyle's familiar green jacket flowing in the wind just as the corsair's coat was. He would not be fooled though, the Darkness was coming from the swallow-wielder which meant one thing. His hexagun appeared in his right hand and was raised, pointing directly at Ajora as he dropped his disguise.

"Ajora! You will pay for all that you have done!" he yelled, his gun aimed right at the Bloody Executioner.

'Don't let your anger get the better of you, stay focused on the fight.' Fenrir stated from within the corsair's heart.

James simply nodded his head, his attention not leaving the dark dragoon before him. His eyes narrowing into his as he contemplated his first move. He felt a strange chill down his spine, though shook it off. His thumb pulled back the hammer of his gun and he unleashed three successive shots at the replica.

[ 死者の最終的で高い裁判官 Sikieiki Yamaxanadu ]

Ajora grinned as James shouted out to him. Oh, goody, this was a 'vengeance' battle, those were always fun. There was a pause in the action as the outraged corsair contemplated his next move (Oh, so he's not a feral beast- all the better!), and while Ajora waited, he flourished his stinger-shaped swallow-spear from side to side, idly musing about the many, many possible things James could do. He could shoot at him... he could shoot at him...

... oh! And he could shoot at him! Way too many things to account for. To prepare, Ajora encased himself in an aura of Darkness...

Of the bullets that came his way (Oh, how unpredictable!), Ajora pushed his super-human reflexes enough to deflect two of them with his spinning spear. The third, however, struck him in the chest, causing him to recoil backwards before apparently freezing in place.

At that moment, Ajora launched himself through his frozen clone as if it were an illusion, his speed akin to a rocket-- he'd clearly used his dragoon-leap to do so. As he approached James, he swung his spear in an upward diagonal sweep, hoping to disarm and hurt James' arm.

Simultaneously, as the illusory, cringing Ajora began to vanish, a second Ajora appeared from a black portal in mid-air behind James, a sneer on his face as he brought his spear around in a full left-to-right slash.

Pain the Universe

James would not rejoice at the hit, he knew better than to let his guard down around Ajora. Sure enough, the replica seemed to launch himself at the corsair preparing to slash at his shooting arm it seemed. Back peddling to try and dodge wouldn't get him any further away, so there was only one real course of action. He charged energy into his legs and quickly pressed off of the ground and into the air ten feet. High enough to propel himself above Ajora's slash, and inadvertently avoid the attack from behind as well

'I need to get some distance.'

He then used his energy in a Mid-air Dash to propel himself away from Ajora. He landed about five feet behind Ajora. However, he did not stop there. He kicked off into a Dash propelling himself another thirty feet away before he turned back and unleashed two more shots, one at each of the Ajoras, which he just now realized there were two of.

[ OHBA - 六十年目の東方裁判 ~ Fate of Sixty Years ]

Both Ajoras seemed to smirk at each other as one went to run into another. Within the time it took James to reach his height, dash through the air, land, and dash off again, their weapons had 'clashed'. Except that, instead of truly clashing, one had used the hook inside the weapon to latch on to the other, and the Ajora that had been behind James used the momentum from his original swing and from the flying Ajora's launch to spin around and throw the launched-Ajora back toward James.

By the time he'd turned around to fire, the thrown Ajora was already close enough to deflect both bullets and, in the same swing, attempt to try the same move- a diagonal swing at his weapon arm.

As Ajora-1 was thrown, Ajora-2 had taken a different route, Launching himself at a 45-degree angle and charging energy into his lungs. As the slash began, Ajora-2 released a menacing dragon's roar in mid'air, hoping to stun James before he could dodge. Regardless of its success, Ajora-2 would land behind James a few moments later, either just after he dodged or he was attacked.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 16, 2011 3:41 pm

This isn't working...' James thought as he watched Ajora close right back in on him as he turned to fire.

His shots were deflected and he brought his left hand up, attempting to prepare something else. However, right as he had done so, the other Ajora unleashed a Dragon's Roar, the sound enough to stun the corsair. His body ceasing just long enough as he tried to shake off the effect. He winced in pain as Ajora's attack made contact. There was a decent gash in James' right arm. Not enough to make it useless though.

"Why don't you fight me one on one you coward? Let's make this interesting!" he yelled at the Dark Dragoon.

As he spoke, his left hand glowed with energy and immediately the corsair threw it down to the ground, causing a blast of light. The Flash Bang, hopefully blinding Ajora as yet again James dashed 30 feet away and turned to fire another shot at the Ajora who had managed to hit him.

The Flash Bang succeeded, and for that brief window of opportunity, James fired into the back of Ajora-1. It connected... and he dissipated into a cloud of smoke, which quickly vanished.

The other Ajora threw down a sphere of Dark Matter on landing, releasing a large cloud of Void Nebula dust, the black sand covering the Replica and a few meters in either direction; his position was completely obscured, and even if James attempted to use his Dark Senses, he would only get that Ajora was there... everywhere in there. The cloud of black dust was, in essence, Ajora.

"You call me a coward... and then you run away," he said, and his voice seemed to distort and echo, coming from the cloud as a whole. The cloud began to move toward James, slow but without hesitation. There was the loud 'poof' and the cloud doubled in width, while at the same time further enhancing his voice. It was roughly 30 feet wide and 13 feet high. "Is it cowardice to use every advantage? I merely thought it intelligent... perhaps it's that mindset that always guarantees your loss."

A wide horizontal wave of Darkness flew out toward James, stretching a foot or two to either side of the Corsair.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 16, 2011 5:16 pm

James' eyes narrowed as his shot hit and the Ajora he hit turned to smoke and vanished. Confirming it was nothing more than a clone that Ajora could create. One shot would finish it off, a good thing to note for the future. Before he could use the opportunity he had, Ajora surrounded himself with what looked like a large black dust storm, obscuring the swallow wielder from view. He listened to Ajora's taunts from within the blackness, but paid it no mind. Ajora liked to run his mouth, had ever since he had woken up.

His attention focused back on the fight as a wide wave of darkness erupted from the dust, flying straight at him. Instead of trying to avoid it though, he charged forward, jumping into it as it crashed against him. Once through he focused Lunar Energy into his body and used his momentum to do a swift spin. Unleashing a Lunar Spiral that would hopefully cut right into the Dust storm of darkness and hit Ajora.

The Ajora-cloud released a haughty 'Oh-ho!' as James charged through the blast, entirely unaffected by the Darkness. Well, that made things interesting. However, he focused more on what James was about to do as he charged near the cloud and released a small twister of Lunar energy, ripping away at a chunk of the cloud. However, the Cloud was roughly 30 feet wide... James' spiral was meant for adjacent or nearby opponents surrounding him.

Ajora wasn't within range. The dust that had made up the portion James had attacked was destroyed, but a majority of the cloud still existed... and quickly surrounded James as though he were magnetized, the dust whirling around violently like a tornado.

"So you're immune to Darkness! What a pity!" Ajora called, and he seemed to be everywhere, surrounding James much as the dust-storm was. Suddenly, a Light-elemental Banish spell came through the cloud at James' back without warning.

[[ As Banish is Medium-Level only (10 MS) and using Light subtracts 2 from MS, that makes the Banish 8 MS in strength. Though, since it's doubled... ]]
PostPosted: Sat Jun 18, 2011 1:27 am

James disregarded Ajora's haughty laugh as he leaped through the wave of darkness. His Lunar Spiral had done less damage than he had anticipated. However, it did destroy part of the storm of dark dust. Before he could hope to get away, the dust drew him in and surrounded him, swathing him in darkness. He could still see thanks to his enhanced senses. However, there was not really anything to see. The darkness flowed around him, Ajora was in here somewhere. However, he couldn't make out where. The wave of darkness' lack of effect on the corsair quickly revealed that James was now completely immune to darkness.

Suddenly, there was a flash of light from behind him and James winced in pain as he felt the banish spell burn into his back. The Holy Magic enough to force James further into the dust storm. The blast was enough to cause the corsair's breathing to go ragged from the pain

'That really hurt... I can't win like this. I need to get rid of all of this dust and I think I know just the thing.'

"So you can use Light too eh? Though I expected it to be a bit stronger coming from you Ajora," James stated with a light chuckle. Perhaps it wasn't the greatest idea to try and rile Ajora up but he didn't care.

As he spoke, he began to gather Lunar Energy into the palm of his hand until the energy formed a small sphere. He quickly threw the sphere down at his feet, his target, not Ajora but the ground. His intention not to hit Ajora, but to disperse the dust that surrounded them both. Ajora could probably would hide within the cloud and watch James struggle to get out of it, taking more shots that seeming from no where that James wouldn't be able to avoid until it was too late. The Lunar Gunner was not about to let that happen.

As the Lunar Grenade hit the ground at the corsair's feet. A massive explosion of light, hopefully strong enough to if not fully destroy the dust storm to at least destroy most of it to where it lost it's effectiveness. His eyes now scanning for Ajora.

Ajora, his very essence manifested as the Void Nebula, spotted the charged Lunar energy in James' hand as he made it, felt the build-up of mana in the eye of this storm. However, even with his reflexes, he couldn't take in all of the dust before the explosion went off. James would have felt all the dust being absorbed into a single spot behind him as he tossed his grenade, though at least half of it was obliterated by the detonation of energy.

As it all cleared, James would have to turn around to look at Ajora, who was now standing at the top of the stairs leading down to the pathway, which was roughly 15 feet behind him. His arms were lazily crossed across his chest. On his right side, a Dark Matter sphere hovered, crackling with small crimson bolts across its black visage; on his left side, a Starlight floated at the same level, with small strings of gold jumping across its glowing white facade; and floating above him, just a few inches over his head, was a sphere that looked to be nothing more than black-and-white static, like a hole in the fabric of reality and definitely reminiscent of the scene of a television without reception.

"Why in the world would I waste my strongest attacks on you?" he finally responded, his shoulder shaking with a single chuckle. The spheres of energy were quickly absorbed into him while he summoned his weapon, once again lazily flourishing it in front of himself, from side to side. "Well, come on, round two. Do a little better this time, hmm?"
PostPosted: Sun Jun 19, 2011 12:02 pm

((major edit in progress, will fix when I get the chance after church. Lost track of position))

James could feel the black dust as it flowed away from the Lunar Grenade as it exploded. However, it was clear that at least half of the dust had been completely destroyed. Immediately he turned, glaring daggers at Ajora as he looked at the Bloody Execution, standing smugly on top of the steps. Though soon the glare turned into a look of fear as he looked at the amount of energy the replica had conjured up. A sphere each of dark, light, and a mix of the two... which the corsair didn't even see how that was possible.

'Always with the talking down, I'll show him,' the corsair thought as he prepared to strike.

He did not like the position where Ajora was, his back to the stairs leading back down from where he had entered. It wouldn't take much for anyone, especially the replica to easily avoid anything he threw at him. Regardless, the corsair had to keep going, had to keep on trying. He wasn't one to quit just because the situation didn't look good.

James took a few steps forward, charging Lunar Energy into his gun and pulled the trigger. The Lunar Barrage erupted from the barrels in six high speed blasts of lunar bullets, all of them heading straight for Ajora. If the replica tried to dodge it, the corsair would do his best to keep them on Ajora.

As James took his own steps forward, Ajora began his own assault, dashing forward and straight into James' attack. When the Barrage was let loose, he attempted to deflect them en route, resulting in two of the six bouncing off his swallow as he charged forward; the remaining four struck his shoulder and chest, and while he mentally winced from the sudden impact, he appeared, physically, to be entirely unfazed-- they didn't even cause him to recoil.

By the time the last bullet impacted (and as fast as bullets flew, that was very little time at all), Ajora was in strike range, and his spear was charged with an aura of Light. With a swift horizontal swing, Ajora unleashed his Lancet Strike, hoping to gash his target even if he moved to the side.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 23, 2011 9:55 pm

By the time the shots had gone off James barely had time to see if any damage was done to the replica as he lunged forward yet again. His speed fast enough that shortly after the final shot had left the barrel he was nearly upon him. The corsair noted that the swallow lance was surrounded be light, not something he wanted to experience the sting of again. In his conquest against the darkness, it seemed that conversely he had increased his weakness to the light, something that he didn't realize he had any reason to fear. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a card as he prepared for his next attack.

Right as Ajora prepared for his strike James pushed energy into his legs and pushed off of the ground, up and away from the sinister tip of the lance. His push off resulted in a backflip which as his body righted itself at the peak of the jump he brought the card up and pulled the trigger. Light flooded from the card into three of the barrels of the hexagun. The Purifying Helix launched at Ajora, the three bullets spiraling around each other in an attempt to hit. If they succeeded, not only would Light damage be dealt to Ajora but there was also a chance of Imperil. The way that James had pushed off of the ground and due to his height, he had also moved backward about five feet away from Ajora.
