(actually he would see it as a relief since z never wanted students in the first place. and the reason why hes pissed is because of his comment against cherry and his smart alleck attitude and the fact that they apparantly knew each other...)
Zane walked to the kitchen, holding himself up against the wall and spotted Cherry. "Dont listen to shark boy...i cant believe hes the mizukage," zane sighed as he leaned against the doorway. "What are you cooking"

She said before sighing, dropping what she was doing and holding her left hand against her face, just settling her thoughts. "... I didn't want to kill them, sensei. What point was there in that... but that man..." She squeezed her eyes shut tighter, ignoring the harsh fire the man named Zaiaku ignited in her stomach.

zane walked over to her and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Hey i told you, dont worry about it. it wasnt your fault...i take full responsibility for that and im sorry, but its done. its in the past, dont let it affect your present," Zane said in attempts to comfort her.

"You were being manipulated...its that simple. From the first moment he showed up he placed genjutsus left and right. Thats how it happened." Zane explained to her. From the first time he showed up he almost even placed Zane under his genjutsu. But it didnt matter now because now his power had increased to beyond the jounin level. With just a little push he would surely attain the saanin rank.

She fell under a genjutsu and didn't even realise it afterward? "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Outou asked, feeling a slight relief. "And why do I still feel it?" She had asked the last one more towards herself than Zane, turning back to look down at the random food items layed out before her. Was it such a strong genjutsu that it had engraved itself into her fibre? A flame burning not from her own being but from the oil he had spilt onto her so it would catch...

Zane was taken aback by this, "i thought you knew,"Zane told her. well that explains a lot. Wether she could still feel didnt matter, or it wouldnt much longer. After training he was going to go hunt this man down and bring back his head. He wouldnt tell Cherry yet though not knowing how shed respond. Suddenly zanes stomach growled. he laughed embarassingly as his cheeks burned red.

She said, never having planned to make stir fry but she also hadn't been thinking exactly what she was making either. Pulling away from Zane, Outou moved around the kitchen, easily chopping and cutting the ingrediants and spices to put in the large wok to be cooked in. Once it was all in, Outou just needed to wait and continue to stir, making sure none of it burned. As she stood there, the pink-eyed woman thought of how she could have missed the now obvious signs that she was under a genjutsu.

Zane didnt say anything more. His mind was racing as he began to boil water. cherry said shed do it but he was feeling well enough to make the tea. As he waited for the water to boil he cringed as he felt a sudden pain in his heart. He placed his hand over it and regained his composurre. What was that he just felt? he put it aside as he got the tea bags ready

Outou was also busy dealing with measuring just how much of the destroyed hospital could be blamed on her. Of course, it would never had happened if not for Zaiaku - ignore the heat, Outou - and the Akatsuki were her targets mainly but...

Zane served the tea as he sat down, his chest still throbbing as he rubbed it. He looked down at his food and as delicious as it looked, his mind was elsewhere. the new kage, the cloud nin, cherry, ezio, hideki, cody...not to mention pain going through him. He took his first bite of the food, it was as good as it looked

Zane looked up and smiled. "Its nothing, probably just still getting used to things," he told her. It wasnt a lie but it wasnt the whole truth either. Something else was messing with him...his heart felt...strange. He ceased rubbing it and continued eating his food. "This is delicious, thank you," he said as he motioned for her to sit down with him and drink tea and eat.

Her pink eyes only glancedup once to check on Zane before she settled on just concentrating on eating, taking a sip of her tea evry few bites. Zane always seemed to keep some nice exotic tea around the kitchen.
