Ares gave everyone in the room a good long look. "Is it just me, or has everyone forgotten the fact that THESE MORTALS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE MAKING A SACRIFICE RIGHT NOW IN ORDER TO KEEP THEMSELVES BREATHING?!"

Delilah stood up, walked to the door and said, "Well if you look after the 'kid' Sage, I'll go find a bee-hive to help make those cakes." She led the 'kid' over to Sage where Delilah told him to wait there until she came back.

Sage snorted. " Sure make me the babysitter. Luckily your kid is so cute, I don't mind." She then began to create a few mirages to entertain the goat turned satyr/monkey or whatever it was supposed to be.

Artemis looked at Ares and raised an eyebrow. " Just why are you so antsy Ares? It's not like they're your fighters."

Ares glared at Artemis. "Well, I don't know, maybe it's because when one person in the group messes up, it's the entire group that gets all the crap afterwards. I don't need that kind of stuff happening before the battle even starts."

Artemis shook her head. " I suppose so. That's why I don't bother with wars when I can help it. Of course if one of you doesn't drag me in somehow you drag Apollo in and I follow to try and keep him out of trouble and that doesn't work out very well most of the time."

"I get involved with wars, obviously. War strategy is my thing, what can I say? I do admit not really taking a side in this particular war, though. It's not very interesting. Just two groups fighting each other over...land, I think." Athena commented, waving a slight goodbye to the leaving girl. "Watch out for Artemis's hunting dogs!"

Jasmine looked, amused, at the new satyr/monkey. "If people ask why he looks so...strange...can we say he's a satyr from a distant land, or is that too unbelievable?"

Sage looked at her friend and grinned. " No we'll just tell them Delilah had a mutant baby." She hadn't bothered going quiet again because the gods weren't giving off a sense of danger to her or at least a danger to their group. She could tell they were all powerful though.

Artemis looked at Athena. " It's not like my dogs would do anything besides knocking her over and licking her. They are perfect on a hunt but if we aren't in the forest they're shameless beggars. They always want attention. I blame Hermes and Apollo for teaching them to jump on new people as a greeting."

Sage stared at Delilah's mutant baby as she had decided to call it for now. " You need a name. People would look at us weird if we called you Delilah's Mutant Baby."

Delilah had barely escaped the eager dogs as they had all clamoured to be first to leap up to greet her. After throwing a nearby stick for the dogs to chase, Delilah quickly ran away before the dogs would return with a beslobbered stick. Forgetting that dog noses were about five times stronger than a human nose, Delilah ran around the hut past several huts and then accidentally veered straight into a strangely tall soldier in noticeably different armour to the other soldiers. The man had stuffed his hand over her mouth and shoved her onto the floor. Screaming, Delilah tried to fight back but found herself unable to transform either herself or her assailant.
