Quint B. Oz? Oh wow, remember you from a while ago. Nice avatar, very accurate cosplay! Thank you kindly. I only spent around 20K on it.

My local library is planning to replace their carpet this month, so they have to put their books in storage soon. Of course, putting things in storage is time consuming and costs money, so they've come up with a incentive system to get people to check more things out... Kids who check out 20 items at once can draw on the old carpet, and people who check out 50 or more get a DVD cupon for free movie checkouts until the end of the year (normally it costs a dollar each). In return, you hold onto the items you checked out until the new carpet has been installed.
My first thought, of course, was " eek You mean I can check out 50 books at the same time?! heart "
Somehow, I doubt many people had the same reaction... xd

Looks like about two or three weeks. I'll probably have to renew a lot of them in the end, but it's still a good oppurtinity. Besides, now my dad can stop wasting his money at Blockbuster for a few months... He subscribes to their "check out as many as you want for a monthly fee (limit three at a time)" thing, but the poor guy has trouble finding time to watch the movies he picks out, so he rarely gets the better of the deal.

*hears an add on the radio*
eek Oh. My. God.
Chelsea Charms is going to be performing at the Amsterdam club from today until this Saturday. That place is only about 20 minutes from where I live!!!
I don't know whither I should cry for happiness, or for the fact I probably won't be going... There'll probably be a cover charge, along with drinks and such, and I need to save what little money I have this month. crying

neutral I have a feeling that measurement is something of an exaggeration anyways... I mean, it that was true she has more than a 12-foot band size and they'd stick out 3-4 feet from her chest.
Yes, yes, I did do the math. But not while staring at her picutres--the old brain tends to shut down during that for some reason. blaugh

Eh, Wikipedia says that she said that was her size herself during a conference, but people lie all the time, so who knows. I hear she's one of the few people with a band inside them to keep from over-inflation, or something. Apparently that's a really dangerous procedure, she and two others (Maxi Mounds and Minka) are the only three women left with it since the operation was banned in America in the mid-90's.
Still, regardless of size Ms. Charms is literally a legend in the business, and it would have been more than an honor to meet her. I sympathize with your pain.

*reads the wiki article*
Hmm, I thought that might be the way it was... Well, my interest has suddenly dropped. I prefer my girls "naturally" big, so it wouldn't mean as much to me as I first thought. I suppose that's a good thing, in this case.
... The implants irratate the tissue and soak up fluids? sweatdrop Geez, that sounds painful.

confused Thought you would have known things that large can't possibly defy gravity. She was a shapely D before her surgeries though, so at least there was some substance. Silicone is just really salty thick fluid, and easily would deprive the affected areas of water. Pain really isn't the only danger. If one of the implants breaks, the body takes in a deadly amount of salt, not to mention other chemicals in the implants, that can kill the patient within hours.
Guess that would be why the amount of implant surgeries done to women has not only decreased in the past years, but the ones done are usually either to eye-candy type women, or porn stars. Either way, men are starting to hate the deception, it seems.

*straps on an RPG outfit and a school backpack*
Gatz has preparing to face teh dreaded "Finals Boss" this week, which explains his absense. Unfortunately he'll be locked in a life-and-death battle with term papers for the next for days, so he won't be posting much this week either. Meanwhile, let's just pray he survives...
*monsterous roar in the distance*
Ah. That'd be my proffessor calling. Be right back... ^^;;

*finally gets back online*
Epp. sweatdrop I hope I haven't held up anything important...
Sorry I've been gone for so long. The long, drawn out absense was caused by a number of things. First I got hit by finals and term papers in early December, and then I was busy visiting with family over the holidays. Added to this is the fact I (more or less) don't have an internet connection at home, meaning that I have to find time to visit the local library if I want to get on Gaia... But those are just excuses, I suppose.
I'll try to catch up on things this week, so try to have a little more patience with me, please.

There was one thing that Quint was going to ask of Bleu, and I suppose we can get around to that soon. As for you making things harder for people to RP..I don't think so? Haven't been on in two days, only to miss your two posts.

I guess i'll hang around a bit in these forums, I havn't been big on the Rp much lately, but i'll talk. I dun wanna leave you guys xD ...
As far as something to talk about, I'm thinking about a fresh gaia start, creating a new guild with a similar theme, and probably taking Iroke off of Gatz' hands.. I dunno, but i'm bored and need some kinda escapism o.o
