Kai turned around hearing two of the three females in the house walk into the kitchen and smiled looking at his little sister, "you know you missed me little sister." he teased, adding the little the way he did because he knew it really got to her. He then turned his attention to Skara and winked a small smile on his face at the reaction he got from Raven.
Raven let out a huff of air and glared at Kai, "i'm not that short." she growled crossing her arms over her chest. She looked at her brother and sighed, it wasnt normal for him to stick around for such a long time. She tilted her head tring to think if it was becasue of his slave that he was staying.

Marie smiled to herself, She thought it was cute. The whole big brother picking on the little sister thing. Marie began to wonder what she was going to be doing around here from now on, Marie was used to having a lot of work to do at her past masters homes. But so far here she had done almost nothing. She was just not used to it. Marie just decided to shrug it off, and think about that later because something else caught her attention. Marie was curious as to why Raven was looking at Kai so curiously as if he was doing something out of the ordinary. But she really did not know what ordinary was here.

The way Kai said little made Skara know that it was something that Raven didn't like, but she turned to see her reaction anyway. She looked back to Kai to see him smile and then to Raven, cocking her head to one side because she didn't know who's side to take or none at all. She then let a warm smile cross her face at both of their reactions, wondering what it would be like to have a brother. Before the sinking devastation she knew was coming could take effect she walked over to the counter with the plates on it, picked up three of them and walked towards the dinning room. When she got to the doorway she turned around smiling and said "I'll go set the table."

Kai sighed and looked at Raven once more before going over to Skara and taking the plates from her muttering, "i'll help." as he set the plates down on the table. Shadow yawned lifting his head from his paws and looked around Kai's room from his spot on Kai's bed. He stood up and jumped off the bed then padded out of the room, his tail wagging behind him happily as he went off in search of Aiko.

Skara let Kai take the plates, too shocked to protest. True, Raven did similar things, but she had gotten pretty much used to that. She followed him and watched him set them on the table before she snapped out of her odd trance. Walking back into the kitchen she pulled out a few forks, with which she went to the dining room and placed beside each of the plates. She stood for a moment, waiting for the other two to sit down.

Raven smiled and looked around looking for Aiko then remembering she went off in search of the other little black cub. She walked out of the kitchen to where she had last seen Marie. When she found the older female she walked over to her and tilted her head slightly, "hey, why dont you go ahead and come sit down with us? I know you dont really eat, but I'm sure it would be a good chance to get to know everyone a bit better." she asked a small smile on her face
Kai sighed and walked over to one of the chairs and pulled it out then looked at Skara, "Your seat, Miss Skara." he said as he motioned for her to take a seat.

Skara turned partially back to the kitchen, hearing Raven leave it to go into another room. Though she quickly turned back around when she heard a chair being pulled out and Kai address her. She blushed, not used to anybody calling her Miss or pulling a chair out for her. "I'm a slave, there is no need for the Miss." She told him timidly, walking over to him.

Kai shook his head and gave the female a half smile, "your not concidered a slave here, in all honesty both myself and my sister are agaisnt the whole slavery thing." he told her. He stood still holding the chair out, slightly supprised at himself for talking that much at one time

"That still doesn't change the fact that I still am one." Skara replied, a bit braver than before. She looked up at him when she said this, and her blush came back. She quickly looked back down, moving the last couple of feet to the chair she sat down. "Thank you," She told him quietly.

As Skara sat down Kai pushed the chair in, a small smirk on his face not missing the blush. Then as she murmered a 'thank you' he leaned over the side of the chair and gave another one of his half smiles, "my pleasure." he repiled softly before standing up straight once more. "anything to drink?" he asked looking at Skara, cocking his head to one side, waiting for her answer.

Skara's blush deepened as he leaned over the side of the chair. She tried to hide it by pulling some of her hair in front of her face. "If you really don't mind, some water would be nice." She replied silently.

(OCC:Sorry about the short post) Marie smiled. She liked how kind everyone here was, It wasn't something Marie was used to but she felt she could defintley get used to this. "Sure sounds good" She nodded.

Kai leaned over and pushed her hair out of her face, a small smile on his face, "Don't hind your blush. I think it's very cute." he murmered in her ear then stood up straight once more. He turned and walked into the kitchen and grabbed a coulpe of glasses, putting one on the counter he walked over to the frezzer and pulled out an ice try, he then put a couple of cubes from the tray into the glass and put the tray back. He then opened the fridge and pulled out a container with a red liquid in it and poured some into the other glass, putting the containter back her picked up the glass with ice and putting water in it. After getting a drink for both of them he walked back into the dining room and placed her glass infront of her, "there you are Miss."
Raven smiled then pulled on the older females hand gently, "well come on then, we cant just stand here all night." she stated leading the female towards the dining room, a small smile on her face.

Marie smiled, "Oh no of course not.." She laughed slightly and followed Raven to the dining room. Marie continued smiling, completley out of her control. She felt a lot more confident actually being spoken to like a person... And her new hair and new dress just made Marie feel great for the first time in a while.

Skara looked up at him, most of her blush disappearing. The shock left when Kai went back into the kitchen, making the blush come back somewhat. She smiled to him when he came back with the drinks. "Thank you very much," She said, getting over her timidness quite quickly. At that moment Marie and Raven entered the room. Without really thinking she got up, "So you're going to join us?" Skara asked Marie, not seeming all that surprised.
