A level 4 Rattata appears!
Malachi saw a Rattata appear from the corner of his eye. Once it was in plain site, Malachi released his Charmander!
'Attack that Rattata!'
Malachi defeated the Rattata... Though he wasn't really eager to catch this Pokemon so he let it go.

Malachi decided to walk around some more with his Charmander... They were both pretty eager to get on with the next battle! They had both worked up a good sweat so they were ready for some serious battling to begin.

This time, a level 3 Rattata appeared!
'Rattata again?! Go Charmander get him with your powerful scratch attack!'
It was no use, the Rattata was too nimble and swift for the Charmander's attack and it countered with a tackle knocking out Charmander!
"Oh no!' Malachi ran to Viridian City!

Malachi walked back into the grass a bit leery eyed about what should happen next... He was so upset that his Charmander had fainted though he wouldn't let that get him down!

A Level 4 Pidgey appeared!
"Go Charmander use your scratch!"
Charmander lunged with an all-mighty scratch knocking out the Pidgey instantly!
Malachi debated whether or not he should catch the Pidgey but just decided to let it go...
Charmander grew to level 6!

March began to walk around again and soon noticed a man giving away free potions... March decided to go up to the man and sure enough, the old man give him a potion!

March continued on through Route route One... He was hoping to run into another Pokemon that he could catch this time... Also, his Charmander was itching for another battle.
