Begotten Vengence Fate heard a slight tapping on her door. Immidiately she leapt out of bed, praying it was a certain someone. When she reached it and flicked the lock, Fate swung the door open swiftly. Seeing no one infront of her, she peered around the doorway. "Kreigor..Oh thank god.." She stepped out and threw her arms around him. "..What on earth.." The strong scent of blood, holy water, and other things tainted him. She shuddered abit. "..Nevermind. Come back in..you can't sit out here."
"woah woah, easy!!!" he said with a wince of pain from his burns. it must have been too bright for fate's eyes to see the burns out in the hall. kreigor pushed her off reluctantly and walked slowly into the room. he staggered over to the couch with great difficulty and sat down slowly, so not to agitate his burns.

Fate blinked and stepped back when she was pushed. She hadn't even thought to look for injuries, just so long as Kreigor was alright. Her happiness and relief dropped like a grand piano from the Empire State Building. When he walked inside, she sighed and closed the door. Quietly, she walked to and stood at the end of the couch. "Can I get you anything?," Fate murmered.

"j...just...some ice...p.please..." he said, weak from the burning he received. "god damn hunter" he mumbled as he lay back gently, wincing in agony as he strugled for normal breath.

Fate sighed, nodded, and disappeared.
A few moments later, she returned with three packs of ice. She didn't utter a word, and handed them to him. Fate then sat down beside Kreigor with her back to him, and moved no more afterwards.

kreigor accepted the ice greatfully with a weak sort of smile. he used his powers to extract the pure healing esscense that ice grings to burns, completely healing each and every wound on his body. "thank you fate....i needed that..." he said thankfully. it was then that he noticed that she seemed to be ignoring him for some reason. "fate.....is something the matter??"he asked.

Fate nodded. "You're very welcome, Kreig." Now that he was healed, she felt of no further use. Standing, she turned and kissed his cheek. "I just missed you." Fate then turned away.
She entered her room and fell upon the bed lightly, inhaling slowly.

kreigor had a bad feeling...like fate was holding back on him. he sttod up, a little wobbly at first but then got his strength back. he walked over to the bedroom, unstrapped his weapons and armor, and walked inside. he walked over to her and sat on the edge of the bed. he ran his fingers through her beautiful hair. "fate....you sure you're ok??' he asked lovingly.

When Kreigor came in and touched her, chill bumps rose. She was no longer warm; it'd worn off. Sighing softly, she rubbed her arms and turned over. "I just worried about you.." She sighed. He was so sweet and good to her, and she wasn't upset at him. "..I'm just glad you came back to me safe..all things considered." She smiled softly, her crimson eyes coming back to live, though it was meerly the evening.

Driving up to the area in his RX-8 he glanced about for a few moments before grabbing his P-90 and moving onward. Loading an armour piercing magazine box he glanced around one more looking carefully from side to side. He began to stroll along the side walk walking around as the casual rock or branch would crunch underfoot then he saw a pillar of smoke rise into the air.
"Oh hell...", he said out loud as he dashed towards the area gun raised looking for any signs of other hunters. Seeing none nearby he had no choice, but to advance slowly not knowing what would be out there. Crouching down he carefully put one foot in front of the other as he began to advance to where to pillar of smoke rose from.
All he could thinks was what had caused this, what's going on, why only one house, who was there? It was all alot to take in, but through concentration he pushed that all aside in an effort to keep his wits about him...for now...

kreigor smiled at her explanation. he placed his hand on the side of her cold cheek as he spoke. "fate...i'm sorry i worried you. i went out there to make sure you could stay safe" he said warmly.
"i am so happpy to be back to you as well." he said warmly.

Fate sighed happily and wiggled over to her dearest, resting her cheek on his knee. "That's brave of you..foolish, but bold." She kissed his leg and smiled up at him. "Thanks."

kreigor chuckled a bit. "i may be a fool...but i'm a fool for you" he said happily. he smiled from ear to ear.
you're welcome though" he said softly as he bent over and kissed her lips gently.

Fate grinned. She couldn't emphasize enough how sweet this man was. "Then you are my fool." She giggled softly, but stopped and blushed deeply at his kiss. She returned it delicately, placing a hand on his cheek.

"i think i like that..." kreigor returned with a grin before delving back into the kiss. he knew by now that he couldn't live without her. he only hoped that she felt the same way.
