Serena looked away at that moment. "I never said that I have never taken a life. " she said. "It has been needed in the way that I live. And, I'm sure I'm not wanted here anyway, so you need not fear that I'll have to slink away and squeal like a little school girl every time you fight." Serena replied. "Thank you for the healing. I would most likely have died this time," she said to Arc, then crossed her arms. Turning back to Neferous, she shrugged. "Thank you for your kindness"

Arc grimaced as the conversation continued. He did not like Nef calling them who killed one in a fight a murderer. "I am no murderer Neferous. I don't need you to speak for everyone." He was getting annoyed as more came, soon to know where they were going. It would be dangerous to bring more unholy blood to Iola and Ruman. Or maybe he had something against demons. Arc turned back to Serena. "I do not let humans die... and your welcome."

Calix had fallen asleep standing. He snapped awake, unaware of everything that had just happened. He walked back towards the group, his eyes heavy. "What did I miss?" he asked, his voice still slightly hoarse from sleep. He wasn't talking to anyone in particular, he was just hoping for an answer.

Nef snorted with laughter as Calix came to attention. "I didn't mean disrespect," he said to Serena, "You just seemed like a person who doesn't to be out of the loop. What I said was true and it felt like you should know that we will probably be dragged into a death-fight." He met Arc's eyes and tried to think of something to say, but his mind still wasn't resolved on killing. "Sorry," he muttered finally.

(ugh, posting is slow these days -_-)
Calix listened to Neferous' last statements with utter confusion. Well, better to just let it go, he thought to himself with a sigh. "Well what's the plan then? Are we heading out?" he asked. He had more energy after his nap, even though he'd been standing, and was hoping they could at least start moving.

Arc nodded his head at Nef. "Alright. We should really get going. It's getting more and more dark out and we shouldn't sit in the same spot for long."

In the midst of all of this, Kaitlyn looked around. "Mr. Neferous, where is Jillian?" she asked, peering through the woods. "She seemed to be kinda angling in the direction ahead... we should catch up!"

Calix turned his head in the direction Kaitlyn had mentioned. He had experience traveling through this area, even with the deceiving landscape. "I'll see if I can find her. If I'm not back in five minutes, come looking for us," he said. He took off into the woods, easily making his way through. He stopped short, thinking he had heard footsteps. "Jillian, is that you?" he called out.

Jillian turned at the sound of her name. She didn't attempt to walk out of the cover of the forest. "Yes, Calix!" she called back, hoping he wouldn't follow her. "I just needed some time alone. You can go back and tell the rest I'm okay."

"Oh. Are you sure? I don't want you to get lost. You know how this area is," he stated. He wondered what she would need time alone for, but knew it would be best to not make her share something she'd already gone through this much trouble to hide.

"I won't... It's fine." she replied, and then looked next to his foot. "Might wanna watch that root. It'd be bad if you tripped." she stated, looking into the woods. "Sometimes, the trees can develop a consciousness and enhance their growth... The tallest are the ones that can do that... due to pollution of course. So if that root moves, might wanna run."

"Yeah, I've encountered that problem before. I can handle it. Thanks for the warning though," he said. He gave her a crooked smile before walking a few paces. "Oh. We're about to move, so we'll probably pass by you soon. Don't wander off any further," he continued with another smile. He took off again back to the group. "She's fine, we can go on ahead," he said to the group.

(sry, been busy)
The girl pouted as she was surrounded with a group of dead humans, not that much but the rest had left out of fear. She sniffed, the fun was gone. "No more blood.." She said sadly then licked her finger of some of the blood. She turned around then took off into the skies, doing random flips and started to zoom through the clouds.

Kaitlyn sighed in relief when Calix told her the news. "Good, it would've been bad if she walked off."

"Yeah, definitely," Calix mumbled. He was too deep in thought. He didn't understand what could be so bad that Jillian couldn't even share with people she's known.
