Raine held the same rock in his arm. He needed to find the strength to get it up in the air. He bent his legs and rolled his shoulder trying to get used to the pain was more, but this time it was too much. More than the first time he had tried this and now he could barely hold the stone, he wanted to drop it at his feet and go along with it sobbing. But he held still, sweat beading on his forehead. Even though he felt cold in the night, he couldn't help but push himself into overheating. Slowly he breathed trying to get enough to throw up the rock. He growled with effort and agony as he threw the stone up, it only reached the height of his head though and than fell back into his arms, which jerked his shoulder, the boy let a small scream of agony dropping the stone at his feet.

Leaning forward, his hands out towards the stone, trying to grab it. While small trickles of blood hit the Suna stone and soaked on the ground.
Above Tsuyosa sighed, if he did the jutsu once more he might die, if his bloodline didn't defend him enough. And yet, the man didn't think he could do anything to stop the small boy from doing what he had to do.
Raine managed to reach out and pull the stone closer to him. With great effort he lifted the heavy block off the ground and held it in his hands once more. Breathing heavily, Raine tried to get the feel for the stone, but it felt so heavy in his arms. He bent his legs once more and glared out with determination. He flung the rock up howling slightly less with agony, it flung higher this time. Raine tried to move his arms into place to land a punch with his Aian Nakkurru but he was too slow and missed the rock as it passed clacking to the ground.

"AH." Raine growled in disgust with himself. Disappointed that he was too weak to preform this jutsu. It was pathetic, he would ever be able to do this in a real battle, where he actually needed to fight someone. The boy whipped up his arms and seethed. He quickly dropped down and grabbed the stone, his muscles pulsing with strength, he was completely determined and flung the rock into the air, his teeth grinding the whole time. The stone soared high above his head, and Raine flung his fist out smashing half of the rock into small pieces.
Tsuyosa rose his eyebrows, a bit astonished. He had thought Raine was finished.
The boy heaved in agony. He couldn't possibly manage this for much longer, and yet he had actually broken the rock in front of him. Of course it had not been as explosive as it should have been but still....

Feeling good about his accomplishment, Raine grabbed another Rock. Now down to his waist. He felt even more drained than before, his sudden burst of energy had taken more out of him still. The boy held the rock in his hands for a second. He willed his hand and arms to move, his legs to follow, but nothing happened. He stood still, his eye fixed on nothing before him and his chest heaving.
"He's done." Tsuyosa said to himself, realizing what he had done the man ducked back behind the wall.
Raine turned slowly back toward the window thinking he had heard something. Probably just a bird, he turned back to his rock and stared down at it. He had to do this.

Raine held the thick brightly colored stone in front of him. If didn't look like sandstone, but was harder, it shattered better. He examined it for a while, while he caught his breath. Taking deep gasps his jaw tensed and his legs bent down. His chin sunk down awkwardly with his bandages, now soaked with red. His rigth foot fell back and the stone left his finger tips, rolling over and over in the air it created and came back toward the boys. His dusted hair sticking to the sweat on his forehead. Raine pulled his arm aback and watched the stone tumble towards him, his eyes stuck on where he needed to hit. His blade flew on his fist and bit down on the stone mashing it instantly and shattering the stone. Stone blades sprayed around him and cut into his flesh.
Tsuyosa held his breath.
Smoke cleared and the boy rose his head, new blood flowing from him, he took a step toward the pile to grab another stone, unable to even think. His hand landed on the pile before he shrunk down to his knees, his eyes already closed. He fell down over the half broken stone from before and lay in the rubble of his training.
The man above stood, gazing down, he pulled the window open more and stepped outside, hopping down the mere 20 foot distance, and landing lightly. He stood over his small cousin and smiled. A true Tekkenseisai. Carefully he picked the boy up and carried him toward the sparring room, switching the lights off outside, he walked in the dark to the kitchen and lay the boy on the table. It was late now and he could feel the ache of night in his eyes. He grabbed the first aid kit once more, and cut away his bandages with the small scissors, revealed a wrecked little body. Seeping with blood, his flesh was shredded by the shards of rock, with the man gently pulled and washed, he opened small packages of a black powder that he poured into the deeper of wounds in the boy. He than rebandaged Raine and, cleaned the blood from the kitchen table. Newly treated, he carried the small boy in his arms to his room. And lay him in his bed. This boy who had been so rude and outspoken, deserved a respect for his undying will to succeed. With that Tsuyosa closed the door and left the boy to rest.

Lavi sighed from the kitchen he felt like finally walking around to see this village, after being stuck in the compound for about a week it sounded okay. He stood and grabbed his coat, even though it was hot he still wanted it. It was his only possession after all. Turning to the empty sparring room, Lavi headed past the library and out into the eastern streets, making his way into the bustling people. There weren't many so far to the south of the village but as he walked towards the center of the village it got more crowded.

Raine awoke to the sun breaking in over his wondow sill, and laying on his eyes. He blinked, and moved a dull ache in his shoulders. Suddenly his place set in around him, the boy looked around startled. How had he gotten inside? He felt the bandages on his neck and looked down to see they were clean and fresh. What could possibly the explanation? Had he done this without even remembering? The small boy sat up in his bed, looking over the glazed room. Unlike oto suna had more of an orange tinge to the morning than a blue one. His hair was still grimy, from the night before and he stood. Only in his shorts the small boy opened his door, to the silent hallway. He crossed Tsuyosa's room which was empty, and headed to the bathroom, sticking his head in the shower to avoid wetting his bandages he washed for a while, and let the warm water run over his face.
He stood and checked himself over in the mirror there were new bandages. He thought last night might have been a dream but no... he looked even more beat up than before, there were more cuts on his face and he certainly felt worse but who had... Raine looked out to the hall, a blank wall stood before him with an empty room. He passed his room, knowing that they would train again Raine didn't bother to grab another shirt that his mom had packed with him. He stepped down the stairs slowly, and turned towards the kitchen, knowing that's surely where his master would be. He stepped in to the man eating another fruit, who looked up but didn't quite acknowledge the boy with a gesture or expression. Raine stepped forward sighing, he was hungry but wasn't sure about getting himself food. It wasn't polite to go through someone's kitchen. So he stood awkwardly looking out the window for a few seconds.
Tsuyosa turned to him. "Well, get a fruit boy." Raine took this invitation as harsh as it was happily and reached up for a grapefruit, he struggling with his stool, and Tsuyosa now finished, stood and grabbed him under the arms setting him on his chair, gentle to not touch his shoulders. The small boy was a bit surprised but happy, The older man also cut his fruit in half with his used knife and pushed the two halves to Raine. "Sleep well?" He asked gruffly hinting to the fact that he knew how late Raine had been up training. With this the boy smiled awkwardly wondering if he should lie or not. "Hmm. Well we're finishing that jutsu today." Raine at this truly smiled and felt excited to show his knew skills. As he finished they both set out into the sparring room. Tsuyosa knew that Lavi had left early that morning to go off for some reason and wouldn't be joining them at the moment. They stepped outside, and to Raine's utter horror there was rubble and chunks of rock from last night, not only that but the row where he had gotten his stones was half drained. Tsuyosa just stared at it silently. While the small boy fidgeted awkwardly still, a bit cold as his skin touched the morning air.
"Well go on then." Tsuyosa said, pushing Raine forward. The small boy tipped his head back.
"Yeah, yeah." he grabbed a stone from the row still hesitant as to what Tsuyosa's reaction might be. But feeling confident in his abilities to now preform the jutsu, Raine held the cool stone in his arms. But the dull ache of last night hit him in the morning, and he wasn't prepared. Trying to throw up the rock, the stone tumbled off in front of him and cracked to the ground.

RAine felt so ashamed that he had failed and after all the extra work he had done last night. In front of Tsuyosa, it felt so odd with the man just standing there watching him. The boy turned back to glance at the man, who was cold as ice. Quickly he picked the rock back up and held it in his arms. He closed his eyes, clearing his eyes. He didn't have to worry about Tsuyosa he had to worry about getting this jutsu right for his own benefit. He had counted out his successes to about 7 now and he only needed three more. He could do that today, he had done 3 earlier. Squatting and tossing the rock up in the air, Raine flung the rock up high and got into position as the stone returned and he smashed it beneath his blades, the shards flying everywhere. Tsuyosa didn't blink, but stepped back as chunks flew towards him.

Raine smiled, as the shards cut into him once more, he had let the usual rain of pain wash over him, and was simply happy that he had completed the jutsu correctly. He turned back to Tsuyosa who still stared blankly, almost bored looking. The boy frowned, and grabbed another block. Holding it still and gazing at it. Feeling how light it finally felt. Quickly he tossed it up into the air and pulled up his fist neck to him, to smash into the stone. Raine flung out his wrist straight and his movement powerful and precise. Striking into the stone once more, the rock shattered and sprayed out shards once more, cutting into Raine. He glared down, protecting his face, and feeling the intense pain of the rocks cutting into him. The master behind him chanced a bit of a smile. It was beautiful, perfect....Raine coughed through the smoke, and clamped his fists in stress.

"Good." Tsuyosa said calmly as if it wasn't alien from his tongue. Raine shot back, hurting his shoulder and staring at him with awe.
"What really?" Raine said in disbelief as if he had heard wrong. The man nodded and then gestured for him to keep going. Raine had just about learned this jutsu and the time to stop would be soon. Than.... than it would be time to say good-bye.
Raine took his instruction still stunned and grabbed another stone, holding it in his arms for a second as he got used to the pain. Raine thrust up the stone, and watched it turn as if in slow motion, it's weak spot pinpointed in his mind. He stuck hard and fast, smashing into the stone as it erupted, he smiled before wincing in pain. Lot's of fresh blood dripped from him, and Raine fell to his knees. Exhausted already. It had only been 20 minutes at the most.

Raine pulled himself off the ground with great effort, it was almost too much to managed and he felt aches and pain like he had never before. Ripping his shoulders again and again, he couldn't managed it. But he stood, so bewildered that he had actually just preformed the jutsu 3 times in a row. And with such ease.
Lavi burst through the back, "What was that noise?" he mentioned Raine breaking the previous stone. Both Tekkenseisai turned to him. Tsuyosa turned to walk to him. "Lavi, I've got to talk to you." the teen looked surprised and Raine turned back to his work, grabbing another stone. He sould barely grasp it not to mention toss it up above his head.
"You're going to leave today." Tsuyosa said within the doorway.
"What?" Lavi felt completely taken.
"There is nothing more I can teach him here. And he is about ready to become a genin. I'm thinking he should return to oto to take the exams." Tsuyosa said. "I want you to pack while he finishes and get going, so you can have a good start and get out of the desert before the noon heat." Lavi was completely bewildered.
"Wow, uh you really mean it..." He looked down towards his feet, "Well um... okay..." the boy shook his head. And headed up towards the stairs.
