Styk_Figure_BoB @ Pen:Mmmm. . I was thinking more along the lines of Poe mixed with Shakespeare and Ives. David Ives is pretty ******** cool. @ Mandi: Swank! And how's that going for you?- By the way, how've things been? We miss you around here. hehe.. swank. 3nodding Things are good, I'm still getting over the whole situation that landed me in this hiatus, but it is coming along nicely. Oh! I gots a job, I get to work with Skotti all day! 4laugh At a radio station nonetheless! Yee! And the Major is going quite nicely. I am still getting my Gen. Ed. credits out of the way. And maybe after this semester I can start working on my minor- Music. I'm trying to work my way into the RP. :/ lulz.

Wow, you guys/gals are all majoring in such creative stuff.
I enjoy writing but I could never make a living off of it, and as for animation... I believe that requires a computer, and I have enough issues just getting my comuter on the internet sweatdrop .

@ Pen: I know, right?
@ Mandi: Aw! Well, I hope everything runs smoothly for you! And I'm happy for you for your job! I'm still struggling to find a real one. I paint houses for ten an hour, it's good money but I can't be stuck doing it for the rest of my life. So, this Fall-Winter I'm thinking on doing indoor painting and what not. Though, I've filled out tons of Apps. for several places that I'd never thought of working at- I'm desperate enough to find a job that I'll flip burgers for money.
@ Kinetic: Well, what is it that you like to do? What would you like to major in?

Thank you! I'm still in my early stages of further honing my craft. I'm a slight bit of a hopeless romantic but,. . . where there's romance there's ALWAYS some gore involved. How you can tell I'm writing a gory short story (Ooh! I rymed!), I'll always have a bottle of Mountain Dew at my side and I'll be eating Skettios with the little meatballs. So good.

My favourite short play of his is: "Dr. Fritz and the Forces of Good"! Dr. Fritz is speaking multiple languages, one is: Spanish, German, and I think he throws in a little bit of Russian. I also love "Time Flies". lol I laugh everytime I read it!

:O Pen! You don't know who David Ives is??- YOU, my friend, are missing out. David Ives is a Playwright frommmm. . . New York? New Jersey?- I don't know. One of the "New"s- Anyway. He's known for writing short comedies. The ones I've mentioned you should check out. Also look for this one play about these three monkeys who are supposed to write Hamlet. I don't remember what its called, though. Anyway, his work is a blast! My High School had done plenty of them, and I had a blast working in them.

*shrugs.* i know people who know celebrities personally, so... *shrugs.* plus, i know people who are on their way to becoming famous authors, playwrites and artists, as well as singers or musicians.
not gonna be doing anything societally "successfull" careerwise myself. i wouldn;t be able to stand that life anyway. i'll just get my GED and go to community college for handdrumming, sewing, keyboarding, business, ballroom dancing, jazz dancing, bellydancing and the like. but i AM going to put those skills (along with cappuerra skills when i can afford it, and self-taught juggling) to opening a shop and make music and jewelry and stuffed animals and clothes and stuff, and be an entertainer/salesman.

I chose that because I enjoy drawing, and I've always excelled in math, so I figured it was a pretty good union of both.

I went to the library, and the other kids were checking out Goosebumps books; me, like the nerd I am, went and picked up a copy of The Merchant of Venice and a complete list of his sonnets. I almost didn't get to check them out because they were from the staff section. :/ That might be a part of the reason fourth grade was Hell for me: I was on a 10th grade reading level, and the average for the class was 3rd grade. eep! Even my teacher hated me for similar reasons. eek

@ Mandi: I've been in a ton of Shakespeare plays- I can play a mean Hamlet. What's your favourite Play/Poem/Sonnet of his?
