[[ Sorry for the wait. Erm, Saph...you might have to babysit again. Still no home internet. ]] [[ And because this isn't showing up on the actual pages.... ]] Gossamer didn't release her telekinetic hold on the girl, but did pause what she was doing a moment, making the girl stop sliding towards her. She glanced away from the computer and over to the girl, one of her hands on the control panel sparking with electricity...which soon made it's way into the broken parts of the machine. A quick little spell that would fix anything that was at risk of causing major damage. "Well then, I suppose us girls will just have to stick together." she replied casually. "Really, you're not telling me anything that the past hasn't already taught me." she said, then turned her attention back to the computer a moment to make sure the spell was working right. Honestly, at first she had every intention of shoving the girls face as close to the sparking and smoking computer as she could. But...she seemed quite persistent at apparently trying to turn her against the others. Rosie could take care of herself. She'd made sure of that when she created her. And if Rosie couldn't she easily had the ability to make others care for her. And if that didn't work...well anyone that even tried to hurt Rosie would have to answer to her. And she on the other hand...well, ninety-five percent of the people that crossed her were no longer among the living. Those that were either pesky heroes or had a very, very good reason for her not to have another grave to dance on.+++++++ Robin Replies +++++++ Gossamer smirked slightly, keeping her eyes on the computer. "If you hate to see suffering, then you're talking to the wrong person." she replied, turning her attention back to the girl. "That's my favorite past-time. Suppose if you manage to get out of here, and something does end up happening, you can come back and say 'I told you so'." she said as she leaned against the edge of the computer and crossed her arms and legs to get more comfortable.

"Yes, you may, Slade," Lex replied after a moment's pause to think it over. "I might as well offer you the same opportunity, Joker. I also have things to take care of."
"I think I'll have to take you up on that, Baldie," Joker replied, "Looks like we're all doing a little juggling act to make this work! Hey, Heatstroke, you think I could kill the Girl Wonder NOW?" The clown began walking towards the room that they had left Robin in.

"No," Deathstroke replied with exaggerated patience, "You can't. I'll let you know when I'm done. Go... make a cheesy death trap for her, or whatever it is that you do to kick back."

"I don't waste death traps on Robins! I WANT them to die!" replied Joker in a mock-outrage tone. "Batman gets death traps, Robin gets death. You see? Go read up on how I dealt with Jason Todd; I'm sure they've published it in some kind of trade paperback." With that, the Ace of Knaves opened the door to find Gossamer magically holding Robin in the air nearby a smoking computer. "Gossamer, baby, did we have a magical catfight in here?"

Stephanie Brown
Robin Robin shook her head. "You just have different standards for people you don't want to suffer..." She managed to mumble out before she heard a voice from where the men had left. Her eyes trained on the figure but she didn't say anything. She gritt her teeth. She had to get out of here...she had to make sure no one came to save her. She went through her lack of tricks up her sleeve. She had to have something or can find something that she could use. Think Steph think.

Lex turned back to Deathstroke, studiously ignoring the clown. "Slade, you know how to get in contact with me. Just don't kill the clown. Annoying as he is, he still has his uses. If nothing else, he makes for an excellent distraction while everyone else gets things done." A light lit up on the wall, letting Lex know that the repairs to his battlesuit were complete. 'Finally... I need to find a way to get a better repair system...' Luthor thought to himself. "I'm going to go see about a Goblin."

Deathstroke shrugged, but something about his posture was tense. "Alright. Try not to get yourself blown up by a pumpkin," he replied somewhat tersely.

Gossamer turned her attention towards Joker and smiled a bit. "No, I haven't gotten to play much yet. I found the computer damaged and her trying to run out. Telekenisis works much better than handcuffs and ropes do." she replied.

"Yes, it probably would..." Joker replied, a small smile on his own face as he approached Gossamer. "Bad news is, Deathjoke still wants her alive. Must have something to do with the costume. Not that I have any room to say anything, but still." The clown wrapped an arm around Goss, but was eyeing Robin when suddenly, a malicious look appeared in his eyes. "Say, honey, can you make her arms and legs one hundred percent immobile for a few seconds?"
"I'll do my best," Lex replied, a smirk on his face. "I think I'll be taking my battlesuit with me, to help ensure that."

"I think I can manage that." Gossamer replied with a small grin. With that, the telekenetic hold she had on the girl moved to her arms and legs rather than her entire body.

The clown took his arm from around Goss and said, "Thank you, baby. This'll only take a moment." He laced his fingers together backwards, cracked his knuckles loudly, then his neck. "This is just a preview of upcoming attractions, Girl Blunder." Slowly and deliberately, he pulled off his right hand glove, and let her see the joy buzzer. "When you see Cassie in Heaven, you'll be able to compare experiences."

{Enter Superman, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter from JLA satellite}
Suddenly, a nearby wall exploded in a cloud of debris. Through it stepped Superman (in his anti-rad suit), Wonder Woman, and the Martian Manhunter. The martian's face remained completely impassive, but Wonder Woman's eyes immediately narrowed into enraged slits. Superman cracked his knuckles. "Wouldn't you know it? This looks like a job for US."
"Exactly what I was thinking, as it happens," Wonder Woman agreed icily.
"Diana, Deathstroke," Superman said firmly. Deathstroke, who had been edging slowly out of the room, stopped and sighed. "J'onn, the new girl. I'll take care of the clowns."
"Clown...s?" J'onn asked calmly.
"In the battle suit."
"Ah. Banter. Yes."
Wonder Woman shot at Deathstroke without further ado. The Martian just stared at Gossamer... and she began to feel a strange sort of... pressure on her mind. Superman rushed forward in an attempt to seize the Joker by the throat and Lex by the chest piece of his battle suit. "Party's over," he said.

// Aw crud... //
Gossamer's attention shot towards the uninvited guests. Again it looked like the fun was going to be cut all too short. She waited, then turned her attention to her new playmate, not taking her hold off of the girl. He wasn't doing anything. Waiting for her to make the first move?
Then she began to feel the odd pressure in her head. For a moment, she thought that Jade was trying to get out or something. Then, she realized that she'd never felt this kind of pressure in her head before. A second later it clicked why the man wasn't moving.
"s**t...." she mumbled to herself.

Joker leapt to the side of Superman's grab. He was no match for the Man of Tomorrow, and he knew it, but if he could cause some kind of disturbance that would cause Supes to be the Boy Scout everyone knows him to be, he just might get away. The Martian was, surprisingly enough, the least of his worries; he had a new magic trick that would be perfect for him. Wonder Woman would be worried about once Superman was neutralized, somehow. Putting all of this together in his head, he didn't say anything, which was odd.
Lex had just finished putting on the battlesuit when the interruption arrived. He pressed two buttons on the wall, and one on the suit. The suit exposed some white kryptonite (which, instead of making Kryptonians feel sick, it drains them of their powers). "Ah, Superman. Nice of you to further destroy my place of business. Between you and Supergirl, I should just bill the so-called Justice League for the damages." A strange look came over his face. A look of both anger and satisfaction. "She tried to kill me, you know. This suit was the only thing that kept me alive. Attempted murder... Breaking and entering... Destruction of property... She's working up quite the rap sheet, isn't she?" His talking was to serve two purposes: they just might settle for getting back Robin and going off to try to find her, plus it should throw off any suspision of her working with him. Normally, people just don't work with people that try to kill them.
