Now Hikari was starting to get scared. As much as she wanted to tell him, how her heart begged her to reveal to him who she was, she couldn't do it. Breaking her promise to King Mickey after what he has done for her would feel too much like a betrayal to his trust. Even though his grip was tight enough to where it started to hurt her, she wished that he wouldn't let go. This was the closest they had ever been since they were less than a year old. "I won't! Let me go!" she screamed, struggling harder. She was surprised by how weak she suddenly was in the presence of her brother. Was it because of her unwillingness to hurt him? Just a few hours ago she took the hearts of four boys without a second thought, but now she couldn't bring herself to do more than keep trying to pull away. She didn't want to use the Darkness to get herself away, but she was getting close. Please, Riku; don't make me do it! Don't make me tell you! she pleaded in her mind, but her eyes were hidden well within her sunglasses.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.”

"Dammit!! I don't want to hurt you! But you're making this harder than it needs to be!" The silvernette shouted. He couldn't believe how stubborn this girl was being, she was almost as stubborn as Riku himself. He knew she was probably scared because as much Darkness was in him she could still ssense the Light no doubt and that scared her. But it didn't effect the way Riku acted. He was annoyed, tired and worried about Namine. He growled and pushed her up against the wall roughly.

"Listen! I don't care as much to why you're here but I do want to know who you are and what you plan to do here! Destiny Islands is my home and there are people I care about here and I'll do anything to protect them! So if I have to kill you, I'd rather do it with good reason!!!" Riku's whole attitude was changed now. Thinking back at the way Namine had reacted to the surge of Darkness changed his whole outlook on the situation.

It's my home too! she shouted in her mind. With a grunt, she felt herself shoved against the brick wall of a building. She didn't know that Naminé was hurt from Hikari using her dark powers, so she believed that Riku was being just plain stubborn. She was glad that the sunglasses hid her eyes; she was close to tears at the crossroads she was facing: tell Riku who she was and betray King Mickey's trust, or resist at all costs and expect a rather painful interrogation from her brother. Either way, it wasn't going to be pretty. Somehow she felt that she needed permission from the King to tell Riku the truth. For some reason she couldn't bring herself to do it on her own. "Why do you care as long as I don't hurt them?! she demanded, then started to regret it. Now that she's said that, it'll make her look like she knows more than she lets on. She then shook her head and tried to push him away. Why was she refusing to use her dark powers now? I can't! Just leave me alone!"

User Image "Don't worry about it. I knew you could easily pull through. Come on." Axel said, as he lifted Lakayna up until she was on her feet on the floor. Grabbing her wrist, which was covered by the arm warmer, he led her out of the school. He didn't really know where to go for her house, but he decided that she can just tell him later. Right now, he just wanted to talk. "Hey, Lakayna, about what you said earlier, you know about your heat rising as you blush...did I embarrass you accidentally?" Said the poor, naive boy. He can usually pick things up the first time he notices them, but now...he really has no idea about anything.

Lakayna walked beside Axel, not caring that he was still holding her wrist. They were headed to no particular destination, and the dragon girl was just fine with that. She was surprised when Axel asked that specific question. She looked up to his face with a small smile. In her mind, she was giggling at the fact that he hadn't figured it out yet.
"No, you didn't embarass me, not at all," she replied, her voice soft and ringing with honesty, "It's..it's because of something else."
She wasn't really sure how to tell Axel what she really wanted to say. Lakayna knew the words, but when she tried to say them, they just got knotted up in her throat. It was very irritating not to be able to say it, so Lakayna decided not to say it until she either felt at ease enough to say it, or Axel managed to figure it out on his own.

User Image Axel thought about it for a moment, this the light bulb in his head went off. He snapped his fingers, smirked, then said, "You have a crush on someone, don't you?" He asked, looking at her. As they continued to walk, Axel finally noticed that his hand was still on her wrist. If it was who he suspected it was...he had better take his hand off her wrist. He asked, "Is it Riku?" before slowly letting go of her wrist.

Lakayna looked away from Axel's face, her eyes sad when he'd released her wrist. Her cheeks were dusted with a light pink.
"You're right about the first thing," she replied, "but no, it isn't Riku. It isn't Sora or Roxas either."

Kairi

User Image

"Right!" Kairi nodded as Naminé grasped her hand. The crimsonette ran along side the blonde, who never let go of her hand. Kairi was glad of that because she didn't want to get separated from her other. The soft warm glow that shown from where they made contact made Kairi think of the light that had shown when she and Naminé had jonined together as one. The girls left the school and were now running through the town.

Fairly far ahead of the two girls Kairi saw a hooded figure and the silvernette. Kairi gasped. The Organization? Kairi grew fearful. The last time the Organization had been here, Kairi ended up being kidnapped which then resulted in Sora being put in danger. When the hooded figure split into three Naminé skidded to a stop, pulling Kairi with her. Each figure ran in a different direction causing Riku to hesitate for a moment. Naminé moved forward again but was stopped by a large group of people in front of them. When the crowd had passed, Riku and the hooded figure were gone. The girls had lost him. Naminé apologized to Kairi for pulling her along. "That's okay Naminé," the crimsonette smiled, "I'm glad you didn't leave me behind. And yes, let's wait for Riku at the beach." Naminé released Kairi's hand and the two girls walked side by side down to the sea shore. As the the two girls walked, Kairi could feel Naminé's worry. Kairi walked a little closer to Naminé, grabbed her hand, and gave it a squeeze. "I'm worried about Riku too. He's strong, but I still worry about him and Sora all the time. I nearly died of worry when I was here by myself and they were off on their journeys. 'Where are they now?' 'Are they all right?' Millions of questions ran through my mind. But... They came back. Just like they promised." Kairi paused and a smile spread across her face. "If Riku promised you something, he'll keep that promise. I know it." Kairi released Naminé's hand and reached towards her bag. She grabbed her Thalassa Lucky Charm and held it close to her heart. "A promise is a very powerful thing," Kairi said remembering the promise she and Sora had made.

Namine
Miss Memory Witch

User Image"I'll never leave you behind, Kairi. You're a part of this just as much as the rest of us." Namine said quietly, staring off towards the ocean. It was quiet for a while as the two twin-like girls walked side by side towards the shore. Suddenly, Kairi walked a bit closer and grasped Namine's hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. The blonde looked up at her Somebody and gave her a faint smile. Of course. Kairi had been able to feel her concern and worry for Riku through their bond.

The crimsonette went on to state that she was worried about the silvernette too, saying that she knew he was strong but she was still worried about him and Sora all the time. Namine listened quietly as Kairi stated how hard it was for her to sit by and wait, how worried she was about the two boys. But they'd come back. Just like they'd promised. Then the girl released Namine's hand and the blonde's crystaline gaze continued to look at the Princess as she reached into her bag and pulled out the the Thalassa Lucky Charm that she'd given Sora near the end of his first adventure. Namine smiled as she watched the girl hold it close to her heart, stating that a promise is a very powerful thing. And she was right.

"Yeah. I know Riku will keep his promise. He'll come back." Namine said quietly. The two were at the beach now and the petite girl sat down on the sand, staring out at the brilliant blue water. The blonde wondered if Kairi had any inkling as to why Namine was so worried about Riku. She wondered if Kairi knew in what way the silvernette and the blonde cared for each other. And if she did, Namine knew Kairi would ask about it. And the blonde would tell her. They were connected; more than just Somebody and Nobody. Like sisters. Namine would tell Kairi, though she'd be blushing and stammering through it the entire time.

User Image Now Axel really went into a deep thinking time. So, it wasn't Riku, wasn't Sora, wasn't Roxas.....was it Lux? Nah, he doubted it. She doesn't seem to like his type. Hm.....what does she like? Well, she's half-dragon, she's calm, apparently she sped up her Algebra period because she was so impatient about it....now, he's definitely stumped. He thought, 'Jeez, why does it confuse me so much. So far, the only person she let really close to her was Naminé...and me! Wait, is it....it can't be though....the first rule of investigation was to always exclude yourself. Course, the second rule is everyone is a suspect, but come on!' Axel looked at Lakayna, then stopped and turned to her fully. He said, "Hey, I have another question. Hopefully, my last. Tomorrow, after school....you wanna go see a movie?"

Lakayna stopped when Axel did, looking up again at his face when he fully turned around. Her eyes lip up and a smile appeared on her delicate lips.
"Sure, I'd love to," she replied.
Soon after, Lakayna heard a clock bell chime from somewhere in the center of town. It was already four o'clock. Lakayna looked in that direction just as the fourth bell of the hour chimed.
"I should be getting home now," she said looking back up to Axel's face, "My Dad'll be home soon and he'll be hungry. He can't cook to save his life."
Lakayna giggled a little at that. She stepped up and gave Axel a quick hug before backing away and running off.
"I'll see you tomorrow!" she called, looking back over her shoulder at him and waving, "Bye!"
Lakayna ran quickly, making it to her house only minutes before her father would be home. She dropped her bag on the couch and went into the kitchen to start their dinner.

O l O l C l Sorry, I'm at a friend's so little to no format.

"Because you just being here risks everything!" Riku shouted without thinking. But it was true, whether or not he knew how much. Having the Darkness on Destiny Islands risked the world itself along with Sora's physical and mental state. Despite being the Keyblade Master he was still only a teenaged boy and a teen can only take so much Darkness and violence. The darkness also threatened his own health, Kairi's safety and hose who were connected to the crimsonette. Riku growled softly when she tried to pushing him away. He was really aggrivated with the fact that there was someone that could out stubborn him. The silvernette then reeled his hand back and puched the wall beside Hikari's head. His knuckles began to ooze blood across his skin and down the cracked wall.

"Why...Why can't you just tell me..? I just want o protect the people I care about!" Riku shouted. Riku didn' undersand why his fist had gone off course. He did want to puch her. He had been planning on it, but for some reason his hand went off course. If it was any other being of Darkness he would've killed them by now, but why not this girl?

User Image "Uh, yeah, sure. Tomorrow..." He muttered to himself. He was pretty shocked after she hugged him. Was his suspicion correct....no, he doesn't have very many evidence yet. He walked away, and said, "Can't cook huh? Well, looks like we have something in common" as he was remembering an incident while he was in the Organization. Hearing a thwack and shouting, Axel looked down an alleyway. There, he saw Riku and that girl who had swimming lessons with the Darkness. He could tell Riku meant something to the girl, but only she knew what it was as Riku was getting dangerously close to punching and maybe killing her. He had no right in this, but...calmly walking down the alleyway, he gently put a hand on Riku's shoulder and said, "Riku..."

Lakayna cooked dinner automatically, making her father's favorite meal; shagetti and meatballs. She hardly even noticed what she was doing, her thoughts more focused on the events that had happened today. This had been one of the most interesting days she'd ever had at school. She thought back to that unfamiliar girl she'd seen back when she was in the nurse's office and that feeling she'd had in the back of her mind. It had been her dragonic side reacting slightly to that girl, as if she'd been bathed in the darkness. Lakayna, as a human, was kind and caring, but when her dragonic side emerged, her personality completely flipped upside-down. The dragon was the darkness within Lakayna's heart; sort of like a heartless, but still with a heart, though a blackened one. Lakayna's dragon side had difinately reacted, but not as strongly as if easile could have because a feeling was there that the dragon could never understand; love. Love for who though? Was it truly as Lakayna thought; that she really did feel that way for Axel?
It's the only explanation that I can come up with, she thought to herself.
She finished cooking and set up the table just as her father walked in the door. He hung his coat up and put his keys on a separate hook beside the coat. He sat down at the table at the same time as Lakayna did. They ate in silence, both very distant from one another. Lakayna would have to work on that sometime, but right now her mind was elsewhere. She finished up some ten minutes later, rinsing off her dishes and putting them in the dishwasher along with the pans she'd used to cook the pasta and sauce and meatballs. Lakayna grabbed her bag from the couch and went upstairs to her room to do her homework.

Riku felt he calm hand rest onto his shoulder. Despite this, his head snapped up and his expressiong didn't die. It was still angered and pissed. The silvernette looked up at Axel. What was he doing here? He could see the look in the pyrotech's eyes and he dropped his fist to his side. Though he didn't let go off Hikari, he lossened his grip incredibly so. His teal eyes burned into Axel's, his fury disapating as he looked at that tattooed face. "What?" he finally asked in a hiss.
