Wow. Uhm. I am honored to be invited. I am not much of an artist- more
of an art historian, actually. Yeah, that's right, I'm the lame kid even the
art kids were like "weirdo" because I enjoyed my art history classes.
And disliked the studio ones. ^^; Either way, I doodle because you have to
if you really want to get to know art- I'd like to practice but I'm out of the
tools to do that. I don't know how to do this digital stuff very well- but I
do love traditional stuff. {Yet I don't even have a pencil in my house.}
So I give my hand at the digital stuff... I hate it compared to my lovely
charcoal shading-- but I'm trying hard to learn. Any books/resources are
always nice to have.

I speak Mandarin, English, and a little bit of Japanese.
I draw occasionally, mostly fan art or commissions on Gaia~!

I'm Miadra and I'm 18 and I'm a pre-pharmacy major in California. Meaning I don't have much of a choice when it comes to careers or graduate school. (;
I'm really lazy about drawing. I imagined myself doing art for a living once, and I realized I'd die from drawing every day. ): That would suck balls.
So it will forever be just a hobby.

i requested to join but it hasnt been accepted yet so i guess its ok to just start posting since its public anyway but!
i have been drawing on gaia since 07 and am slowly improving. i hope to maybe learn a little bit but mostly to make some friends cause gaia has gotten a little boring for me recently...
hopefully this place will spice it up!

Seems interesting enough. :3 I'm not a big animu artist but I've dabbled in it a few times. Cutesy stuff is fun depending on the mood lol. I've got a weird, sick, and a very perverted sense of humor. 8D I love sexy wimmins and beefy menz~ tehe I'm a Multifaceted-Artist-Extraordinaire by all meaning of the word and ~ by trade~ I can do pretty much anything from 2D/3D animation - to 3D modeling - to sculpture - to after affects work - to video editing - photography - to painting~~ I'm a flexible and hands-on artist kind of gal. You name it~ I've probably done it or will do it in the future. cool I love doing traditional artwork the most though, it's easier and quickest for me since I grew up doing traditional; however, I love digital all the same. My name is Danielle although, most can or usually just call me Dani. I am 23 years old and I love and appreciate all forms of art.
I currently specialize in Anime/Manga/Comic styles, Portraits, Painting Seacapes, Landscapes, and I am an amatuer photographer.
I've been drawing since I was a wee one and still enoy the escape of it all.
I would love to sell a painting or piece of orginal artwork one day in my life, and my dream job would be an art teacher. Wether it be in a school system or in the back of an Art Supply Shop.
