Kikyo hesitated a second, but removed the katana. She sheathed it, and just stepped back. She brushed her bangs out of her face, and glanced at Luke.

As the man left Luke's view he turned to kikyo. "we should go aswell..they will die before they reach the town" He said.

Luke walked until they were out of the forest and into a wide open plain the same plain that he had met kikyo. He walked down onto the road and looked ahead to see his village and then looked at a familiar tree. "i bet you dont remember this place.." Luke said.

"I do..." she said, her voice carrying a sliver of sorrow.
'I haven't been back here since that day...' she thought to herself.

Kikyo nodded, and followed after Luke. A wind blew from the direction of the tree, and Kikyo shivered. She could almost hear the voices of her old, fallen comrades. She felt a few tears well up in her eyes.

Luke continued to look around as he replayed the battle from years ago in his head. He wondered how he had so little men left and why he hasnt died in combat. He also wondered why his life has had nothing but combat in it. "i can see the town now" Luke said as he looked ahead.

"Cool." Kikyo said, stopping for a second near the tree she had hid in so long ago.
'Bye, everyone. Rest in peace for all eternity...' she thought, closing her eyes a second. She then followed after Luke.

Kaleel woke up from his hibernation-like state. "Man I'm stiff." He said to himself. He cracked and popped a few joints and walked out of his house.
Relgan stood outside the kingdom of Kujin. "So this is where I will be fighting for now..." He started walking towards the gate.

The wind played about in the leaves overhead, rustling and throwing a myriad of emerald shadows about the grassy ground. A little carved bone figurine of a leaf. That's all he had left of his sister other than his memories. But even those were starting to fade away now.
"Sir, the brethren have finished their preparations. We're ready to move out now."
Dealthi sighed. Yet another lazy afternoon reverie destroyed by the ugliness of reality.
"Very well." Swinging himself out of the tree he was lying on, Dealthi hit the ground noiselessly. "Where's the next town?"
"Sir, the next town is Briarsbend-"
"I asked where's the next town." Dealthi uttered flatly, his eyes starting to glow venomously.
"E-E-East, sir." The guard's knees trembled slightly.
"And how long will it take for us to get there?"
"A-About th-three days, sir."
"We will reach the town today, before the sun reaches its highest. We shall then decimate the human settlement before the sun sets, and we shall make our beds tonight upon mountains of their bones. How does that sound to you, soldier?"
"That sounds most excellent, sir!" The lesser demon's lusterless black eyes gleamed in anticipation of the battle ahead.
"Oy! You maggots hurry up and get in formation! We've got fresh human blood ahead of us, and if you wanna get your kills, you'd better move your sorry bum!"
Dealthi sighed. He turned, and placed his hand on the tree briefly, savoring the quiet for a bit longer, before heading back to the camp.

Luke walked up to the Gates of the town and a guard stopped him. "oh..im sorry sir..welcome back" He said as he opened the gates. Luke and Kikyo walked inside and Luke sighed. "great to be back home.." He said as he turned to Kikyo. "...i sence a large force coming toward the town.." Luke said as he turned to a guard. "hey you! inform the guard to be on alert today..i feel their may be an attack" He said.

Dealthi watched as his troop sped away from him, forty of them exactly, racing through the treetops. They were of the new Breed, unintelligent savage brutes that only existed to thirst for blood. He'd let them go first, and catch up later. There was no need to rush things. If the old Breed still ruled, none of this violence would have happened, thought Dealthi bitterly. He polished his pearl white armor meticulously with a little rag, buffing each piece to perfection. As he looked into his reflection, he saw sad blue eyes gazing back at him when the wind suddenly whipped his silver hair into a frenzy. Stop, please. Dealthi thought, and the wind ceased. He saved the face mask of his armor for last, a hideous, bleached, grotesque thing. His superiors had laughed behind his back when Dealthi received the thing, as it was a mockery to his name. The Silverfalls used to value life above all other things. But in war, everything becomes twisted...
He sighed again, and packed up all his belongings into a neat little satchel which he then bound to the back of his horse.
"Let's go, Purity," he cooed softy to his horse, who whickered in response. Leading Purity by her reins, Dealthi gazed into the distance, where a grassy hill extended into the horizon. A white fire surrounded the pair, and soon they were enveloped by flame and disappeared.
