*Kas went to sleep quickly that night, but unfortunetly she never got much sleep. She was always awaken in the middle of the night by the screams of her brother. She shivered in her sleep, clinging to her pillow and looking over at Aes, hoping he was awake*

Aes hadn't been sleeping right since he had met Kasumi. He hadn't wanted to take the elixer in front of her, so he would normally stay awake all night. When he felt her shiver and then buck, awakening, he turned to her and placed a hand by her shoulder. "Kasumi? What is it? What is wrong?" he thought briefy, before the events of the day came back to him. Understanding now, he embraced her.

Aes Sidhe Aes hadn't been sleeping right since he had met Kasumi. He hadn't wanted to take the elixer in front of her, so he would normally stay awake all night. When he felt her shiver and then buck, awakening, he turned to her and placed a hand by her shoulder. "Kasumi? What is it? What is wrong?" he thought briefy, before the events of the day came back to him. Understanding now, he embraced her. "Aes...he's....not coming back...is he?" *Kas asked as she turned to face him, tears in her eyes. She had been so nieve. How could she ever believe anyone could survive a fall like that. There was hope however...there was ALWAYS hope.*

He knew as a doctor that there was no way, but she was right, there was always hope. He wiped the tears from her eyes..."I would never give up hope, but if he does never return, you can survive on the memories."

Aes Sidhe He knew as a doctor that there was no way, but she was right, there was always hope. He wiped the tears from her eyes..."I would never give up hope, but if he does never return, you can survive on the memories." "Memories won't bring him back" *she said sadly as she leaned over to Aes and hugged him tightly, closing her eyes and trying to calm down. "If he is alive...I hope he's all right. "

*Kas closed her eyes and at least tried so sleep. Eventually, sleep came. It didn't last, however. She found herself waking up once again, just sitting still in bed and staring out the window at the nights sky*

He was still watching her, quietly, wondering if she noticed. He was so worried about her, couldn't bear to see her unhappy. He thought about the bruises on the wrists, and Kasumi looking out the window, and asked himself why he had waited so long to let go, to hold onto fantasies, when the woman he was in love with was in pain now.
He got up and went behind her, putting his arms around her waist and resting his chin on her shoulder as he looked out the window as well.

A small smile came over her face when Aes held her, causing her to close her eyes and rest her head on her pillow. She was glad she could have someone to go to when she was troubled. Resting the back of her head on his chest, Kasumi would slowly drift off into a deep sleep *

He moved to go get the elixer now, and looked at her sleeping form. When things had settled, he would...
Well, best not to get ahead of himself, he thought, but he would do it. Aes quickly drank the required amount, and fell into a deep sleep next to her.

*Kas woke up late the next morning, arising from bed and opening her eyes wearily. She hadn't fully recovered from the previous night, and even after sleeping she still felt tired. She looked over to Aes's sleeping form and leaned in, gently kissing him on the cheek and getting out of bed*

He woke up with his head on the pillow and a light headache. After getting up he saw Kasumi, already awake. He sat up on the side and looked up to her. "Breakfast? There should be some food in the pantry down in the kitchen."

Satoshi walked into Genji's Inn. He glanced around the room taking everything in. The bottom floor seemed fairly quiet. Good. Satoshi thought to himself. He headed for the bar and sat down quietly.

Of course, the only reason Wedsday wasn't out front was because he was drinking. He gave a smile to the newcomer and leaned on the bar counter. "Anything I can get ya?"
