that night, K'van went to the jewelry store. he began a buying spree, buying things like mounds of alchemy books, a stock of drinks, blood and alcohol, weapons, antiques for his house, and calligraphy stuff, as well as a jade bento box filled with the best sushi imported from the east, complete with bamboo chopsticks coiled with gold for Elysia. [[woah, run-on sentence]] the next day he popped his head in roy's office, smoking an expensive ciggarette and a bottle of scotch for roy

he pulled out the pack and pointed it to her
"like to try one?" he offered

Roy was too preoccupied with his phone call.
"Yes, please tell me if you know anything. Thank you." He hung up.
"Have you two seen Elysia since last night?"

Roy got to his feet.
"This is serious!" he snapped. "The alchemist ceremonies are canceled until she is found! She hasn't checked in since she left the fields last night!"

Riza entered in then.
"Sir, Elysia is not in her hotel room," she said. She handed Roy some reports. "But bloodstains were found on the carpet and the windowsill. Which, the window was open. Her bed was also a complete mess."

Roy read over the reports and looked at Riza. "Send out a search squad. Immediately!"

"Yes, sir!" Riza ran out of the room.

Riza came to a halt, looking at the colonel for approval. Roy just nodded.
Riza nodded.
"Come along," she said, running down the hallway.

Elysia moaned. She couldn't move her wrists, and she was cold. She looked up, and saw herself some place....dark. It looks abandoned and dusty. She heard people shouting outside, like commands. Her head hurt, and she felt dizzy. Something had dried on the right side of her face, but she didn't know what.

Too dizzy to remain awake, Elysia passed out where she was, hearing the yells and chains slapping together outside.

[[I'm posting kinda fast 'cause I'm going to bed at 11:30, and it's 11:09.]]

Riza followed K'van.
"There's construction going on there," she said. "They're demolishing some old buildings. You think she could be there?"

Elysia awoke again, finding herself in a corner. Had she been there before? She wasn't sure. She was still dizzy, the right side of her head spinning and spinning. She glanced around for a moment and saw herself surrounded with dusty old books. The covers had a lot to do with science, so she thought. She moaned and placed her head against a shelf. Her feet weren't movable either, so she was...immobile.
Not like it mattered..
...since she lost consciousness again.

Riza heard the construction workers shout at them to get away from the site. Riza glared at them.
"We're here on military business, sir!" she shouted. "We have an emergency." She ducked into the dusty building and spotted a limp shape in the corner of a bookshelf.
"Elysia!" she shouted, seeing the girl's beat up form. Her jacket was laying on the floor far away from her, covered in dust. Dried blood occupied the left side of her face, from a still open gash on the side of her head. Her left shoulder was inhabited by a huge, ugly, purple bruise. Her wrists and feet were tied with dirty, tattered, worn ropes.

Riza knocked down some old boards in the way and said, "K'van. You get her." She heard the roar of the demolition team outside. "I have to go stop those maniacs from tearing down this building while we're in here." She ran out of the building.

Hawkeye nodded and tore away from her argument with the workers. She let K'van place Elysia in the car and waited for him to get in. She started the car and zoomed towards the main building.

In the car, Elysia's eyelids fluttered as she moaned. Her eyes didn't open all the way, but she knew she was in a car by the feel of it.
"What's going on...?" she asked hazily.
