The avian's eyes widen and blink a few times. Then she looks down at herself and tilts her ethereal head.
"Well, technically, I don't think I'm really air. I'm just... Not really sure how to describe it. It's like everything that makes up what I am becomes a gas. And I can will myself to form a ghost image or come back together again. That doesn't sound right, either. It's... Hmm..."
Iri tilts her head to the other side and thinks on it a bit more. Judging by her pursed lips and narrowed brow, she's thinking very hard.
"Maybe I'm more like condensation than anything. After all, the body is mostly made up of water. The rest of it must liquify as well. It's never gone wrong, though. The technique is so abstract in how it's done, it's rather hard to describe."

Dalcon looks around himself, wildly, almost scared to breathe.
"I know science doesn't work here, but come ON!"

Iri winces and gives her head a shake. Then, in another flash of chakra, she brings herself back together and stands in front of Dalcon. The woman's expression is sheepish and apologetic.
"Hey, hey, hey! Would you calm down? It's not that weird. I know a guy that pops out of shadows. A certain someone used to use foxfire to make butterflies. Stuff like that is common around here. Kid, if you're gonna make it here, you need to be a little more open-minded. Just breathe, okay?"

As Iri finished what she was saying a cloud drifed up to her and then changed to a man.
"Sorry to bother you but I wonder if you would teach me so of your skills till my teacher come back?" Kwubara asked nicely.

Iri turned into the air around him, and a cloud turned into this other guy. In a very Home Alone way, Dalcon claps his hands to his cheeks.
"Aaaaah!"

Iri blinks at Kwubara. After a moment, she looks back at Dalcon. Then she looks again at the newcomer.
"See what you just did? I think he's scarred for life now." She isn't really scolding the man. It's just playful teasing on her part. Then she holds up a finger as though to tell him, "One moment, please."
The avian puts one hand on the top of Dalcon's head and bends over so she's looking him in the eyes. "Sweetie, you're part demon. You emit foxfire when you're angry. And, one of these days, you'll be able to consciously wield it. Odds are you'll shapeshift under the full moon. When people do things like turning into the air, it shouldn't freak you out so much. Aside from that, do you really think I'd ask you to do something that could put you at risk? I'm here to help you, not hurt you."

Dalcon looks back at her, unblinking.
"Listen. If I shoot out green fire, I'm still here. Still physical. Still Dalcon-sized. And-" The bit about transforming shuts him up entirely when it registers.

Iri winces. Maybe she shouldn't have said that part about transforming? After all, the concept is still very new and very stressful to the kid. And he's rather skittish about these things. Iri doesn't know how many times now she's said or done something that freaked him out.
"Soo... We'll talk about this later, sweets."
She turns to look at Kwubara, though she keeps one hand on Dalcon's head in a comforting gesture. "Now, you say you want lessons? What element did you come here to learn to begin with?"

"Hey you. Yeah you, the person I'm inside of. There is another demon close by." Judas yelled in Kwubara's head.

On the inside, Iri is stiffling a chuckle in response to Dalcon's comment. On the surface, she just raises a slender brow at Kwubara. If she remembers correctly, one typically masters an element, or close to it, before moving on. Might she be stepping on someone's toes? But, if his teacher isn't around, then someone should step up and take care of his education in the place of... Tutsumi, wasn't it?
The avian brings up a finger and lightly chews on her knuckle. After a moment, she responds. "I suppose I can teach you. Is there a reason you favor Mizu? Or why you want to learn Kaze instead of something like Ho or Rai?"
As Iri speaks to Kwubara, she projecs her thoughts to Dalcon. "Don't freak out, kid. I can't read your thoughts or really intrude on your mind. I can only speak to you through telepathy. Anyway, I've got a proposition for you. Every new trick I pull seems to freak you out. Know of a way we can work around it? I learned Kaze by making up my own techniques and lesson plans. Only a few things were taught to me by a real teacher. So, I'm willing to give you close to that kind of freedom. I think you're bright enough."

"Mizu helped with as you saw my way of turning to a cloud and how I fought. I wish to learn from you over the Rai instructor is first it would help with being a cloud and second he's a drunk." He answered.

Dalcon laughs.
"Right on. I'd have loved to take Rai were it not for that loudmouth son of a..."
He flickers a mischevious grin, looking up at Iri.
"I...just because stuff freaks me out doesn't mean I don't need to be exposed to it," he says, picking his words carefully. "I'm trying to work with the fact that I might, at any given moment, be breathing in somebody."

Iri looks down at Dalcon and shakes her head, a slightly amused smile on her face. "You wouldn't breathe me in. Or anyone else, if they work like I do. In that form, you have just as much control over your body as you do in a solid form. More control, I think, as you get used to it. When you're ready to try again, I'll show you what I mean."
She looks back to Kwubara and nods her head in response to his statement. Tilting her head to the side as usual, she says, "I see what you mean. Kaze and Mizu are similar enough that they can kind of go hand in hand in some aspects. Actually, you might be able to teach yourself some Mizu through a few of the Kaze lessons. We'll see how that works itself out."
