"I am just fine, thank you," Logan replied, raising an eyebrow at Kendra before looking to the waiter.
"Okie dokie, then," the waiter replied, twirling his pen as he took it out with his notepad. "Can I get either of you two anything to drink perhaps?"
Logan paused to think for a moment, pushing back the thought to buy alcohol. "I'll just have a pepsi, please," he replied.
"Ooooone Pepsi..." the waiter repeated in a rather sing-song voice as he wrote it down. He then looked up at Kendra. "And for the fine miss?"

Kendra smiled as she grasped a thin lock of hair between her fingers and twirled it slightly.
"Just a water please," she said sweetly before leaning back in her chair.

"Alright, sweetheart, I'll be right back with your drinks," the waiter said, winking at Kendra before leaving.
Logan glanced up at the waiter before looking at Kendra. "Well...anyway..." he glanced off in the direction the waiter went.

"So you got yourself paid through college and blew the rest of your money on expensive food and cheap hookers?"' she asked with a teasing smile, "Sounds like a very good way to spend your college days."
She crossed her legs and sat there, a rather smug grin upon her lips.

Logan grinned and laughed slightly, putting the menu down. "Yes, of course. That's what I did in college," he said with a smile. He leaned forward in his seat and rested his arms on the table.
"Speaking of college, do you know where you're going?"

Kendra leaned back in her seat, a somewhat displeased look on her face.
"College.... Yes, I do... have an idea. Rummington College. That university the next town over. It's not too far for me to drive and I can some what afford it."
She gave a small shrug before sighing.
"I don't really like to think about it apparently.... Stresses me out."

"Ah, well, then we won't talk about it," Logan replied with a slight smile. He understood her dilemma, even though he never really had the same problem. He realized that he had it quite easy when it came to his own college life. He had it all paid for and had nothing to really worry about.
"So," he began, looking down at the table. "You're parents must really trust you. I mean, they leave you all alone here to live by yourself? Most kids your age would kill for that."

She had totally forgotten all about her living arrangements. She needed to call her mother. She smiled slightly, trying to push it out of her mind. He... didn't know he was her guardian... not yet anyway.
"Oh yes... They... they figured I was already practically living on my own. Having three jobs gives that impression. So I told them I'd rather stay and graduate with my friends instead of going to a new district," She gave a small shrug, "I suppose I am really lucky...."

"Well that's good I suppose..." he paused as the waiter came back with their drinks.
"Here you go," he said as he set down cups in front of them. "Are you ready to order?"
Logan paused, glancing at the menu. "Um...have we?" he asked, glancing up at Kendra.

"Yeees ma'am you can," the waiter replied, writing it down. He turned to Logan. "And you, sir?"
"Same thing," he said, handing the menus to the waiter.
"Thank you both. I'll get your food right out." He smiled and practically skipped off.
Logan watched him for a moment, a slight smirk on his face before looking at Kendra again. "Anyway, I'm sure I already told you, but if you ever need anything, like money or anything, I'm perfectly willing to help."

Kendra giggled at his comment, smiling to herself.
"I appreciate the offer but I could never. I'm not one for borrowing things.. especially money. But I'll keep it in mind should I become exceedingly desperate."
Her eyes went to the waiter as she watched him work.
"Do you think he's gay?" she asked, pointing.

Logan glanced up at where the man went before looking back to Kendra and shrugging. "I don't know. Perhaps. But he seemed like he was flirting with you. So...perhaps he's just a flamboyantly....straight man?" He smiled before taking a sip of his drink.

Logan glanced up at her with a rather undecided look. "Well...we really can't go on dates back home. At least out in public. So I wanted to bring you somewhere that we could be in public together without worrying. That, and I finally got over everything. I'm back to normal. Or at least as much as possible. So...it's sort of a celebration as well. I suppose." He shrugged and took another drink.
