(sorry ^^; the random word just popped into my head. ^^; lol )
"Well you ears are one of your cute features." he replied gently massaging her belly while cuddling her close. "I still can't belive that the woman who was going to kill me when we first met, was going to be my wife..." he sighed remembering the day they first met.
"What made you change your mind? I always wondered about that..." he asked.

"I dont know what changed my mind." Cheria changed back into a human and leaned against Jack. Feeling both twins move, she placed her and Jakes hand on her belly. "Our child wants out, Jake. But it is not time yet." Cheria yawned and closed her eyes, not ready for what the next had in store for Jake and her.

He chuckled. "I love you so much." he said closing his eyes cuddling her happily. He blushed a bit feeling his children move within her. He was going to be a father soon.

Cheria wrapped her arms around Jack, her head on his chest. She was already asleep, telling him that she was really tired. She loosened her grip on Jack and slid back on to the bed, her head on her hands, her chest rising up and down with steady breathing.

Closing his eyes, Jack happily cuddled up next to his wife. Holding her gently he too fell into a gentle sleep.

The next day, Cheria woke up, got dressed and watched the sun rise over the sea on the balcony, a cup of tea in her hand and her other hand on belly, where her and Jake's child rested. Surprised by movement, Cheria dropped her cup of tea, and it shattered on the balcony floor. "Oh, dear. GThat was my favorite cup!"

He awoke and had gotten dressed as well. Brewing some tea, he quietly drank his when he heard the sound of something breaking. "Honey is everything alright!?" he asked running over to see what had happened. Gently hugging her from behind he kissed her cheek. "Don't worry about the teacup, I'll clean it up. I can get you another cup of tea if you want as well." he said trying to soothe her woes.

"No, one cup was enough." Cheria grimaced with pain and sighed. "I'm tired again, can you help me, Jake?" Cheria grimaced, the pain lasting longer. Once that contraction was done, Cheria sat down, panting, her ears flat on her head. "Jake, what if I'm giving birth already? I'm not ready!"

"Do you want to see the doctor!?" he said helping her onto the bed. "Don't worry honey, everything is going to be alright!" he said with slight nervousness in his voice.

"Yes. Let's go see a doctor before another contraction hits." Cheria sighed and closed her eyes. Why did she wake up this early? she got up and clung to Jake's arm, on the way to the doctors, her golden eyes worried.

Nodding he gently picked her up and began to carry her to the doctor. During sometime he watched her sleep then watched her awake quickly. "Don't worry honey, we're almost there." he comforted her as they entered the doctor's office.
"Is there a problem?" asked the doctor watching the young couple hurry in.

Cheria arched her back as another painful contraction hit. "Yeah. I started having painful contractions this morning, and I'm due in like a month...." Cheria bit back a cry of surprise when she felt movement in her womb. She clutched at Jake's arm, trying not to dig her nails in his arm. Whimpering, she buried her head in Jake's chest, like a little kid who was scared of the big bad doctor with a needle in his hand.

"I see.." replied the doctor as she took a closer look. "It would appear that you're going to give birth soon. I'll have to get some staff together, but please help me get your wife onto one of the beds here!" she said.
Jake nodded, and despite the pain in his arm, he helped his wife up. "Will our children be ok?" he asked with concern.
"Oh they should be..I'm going to get my delivery staff. So you both hang out here!" She said running out of the room.
"Honey..it looks like they're going to come a bit earlier than we expected. Oh and could you let go of my arm..y-your claws are digging into my skin." he said in sort of a painfull tone.
(I hope that's what you wanted. ^^; anyway, you could always just be having a contraction. *shrug* It's up to you. I just kind of had a feeling that you wanted your character to give birth. xP)

Cheria let go of his arms, and sat down on the bed before another contraction hit. The contraction hit, and just as painful. Gasping, she laid down on the bed and held Jake's hand to her cheek. "I never imagined that our child will come early!" She curled up into a ball and sighed, just as a wave of contractions hit.

Feeling compassion for his wife, Jake gently let his hand rest upon her cheek. "Well you are having twins, maybe one is just ready..." he said gently placing a hand on her stomach. "Don't worry, I'll be here by your side. I'll never leave it for anything." He said doing his best to be as re-assureing as he could be.
