He blinked and turned toward her ((sorry i forgot div's charries name!)) "Uhhh sure you might get bored travelling with me though. I'm going to be going to alot of villages.... mainly human ones."

Kira smiled gently. "Good! That means you can both come back to Fenton and visit us. Next time you are here I will introduce you to the Fenton wolves if you like. They are very honorable creatures."

She waved her hands. "Calm down silly. Geez, I never travel because I would just be a wanderer. I'd probably starve half to death too." Then she sighed. "I suppose tomorrow I should go back and visit that human. I feel bad because I sort of ran off on her, but people WERE throwing rocks at me." She muttered.

Toshi frowned "Well... I'm not sure exactly. But I grew up in a nuetral town. They don't care or worry too much about you guys. But most humans I've met seem to be afraid of unknown things... and anything with teeth sharper than theirs... or claws. *shrugs* Seems like too much effort to stay scared like that to me... "

Kira sighed. "That's true Toshi, too true I'm afraid. Two of the Fenton clans will protect humans, even though they hate us, and two will eat any that they come across. It's hard to know which is which, but even before the Fenton wolves split into three tribes one hundred years ago, they have never been liked. It was the real reason for the division. The Fenton foxes though have never let it bother them and neither have the new Fenton wolves. I wish I could explain the way humans feel, but all of them are different. You'd think that walking in with their Lady would show them that I meant no harm, but apparently not. Anything that comes out of the Forest of Bones is a monster to them. It's their fault it's named this though." she said, sighing and hugging herself while appearing to be remembering something awful.

He frowned "From what I've seen in my travels most humans are very dumb. They shun the ones who would help them and go bother the ones that would kill them. It gives me headaches to watch my own kind act so.... Well anyway not all humans are mean just like not all deamons are killers. But I have a feeling we're bound to be eternally at odds. *shrugs* Such is life. I'd go back home if I weren't determined to find what I'm looking for! Ah well I DO like a good adventure."

Kira sighed. "You are right I'm afraid. And often it is the opposite, humans seek out and kill those of us that are harmless and then those that can kill avenge them. It is true, Lady Lea is good even though those in her village would rather run me away." she said, smiling. "There is always hope when there are humans like the two of you."

He grinned "Well I do try to make a good impression. Generally I prefer to get to know someone first... this way I'll know if they mean me harm or not. I may be partial to friendly relationships but if anything attacks me I maintain my right to defend myself as well!"

::she listened to all of this quietly, thinking carefully about what she was learning. she hadn't had much experience with the "good" kind of human, but then again, she'd had just as many bad experiences with demons, so she had never really been able to tell the difference::

Kira sighed. "I guess it's true we all have our reasons, most people were raised by someone who had seen a demon take a human life, it's impressed upon people that they're bad. And on others, it is impressed upon that only certain ones of us are bad. It can get confusing." she said, frowning and then yawning. "We'd probably better head to bed too."

Kira pointed off to a side room. "The common sleeping quarters. Everyone but my parents sleeps there." she said, walking towards the door and beckoning them to follow her.
