Claus was back, and only hearing the news about the others' exit out of the outer plane and into the physical world with the fleshies. His tea had an unpleasant taste afterwards and he was compelled to discontinue drinking it while looking at the others around him. They were discussing the previous master and how Claus had done a very similar thing to his first few game pieces. In fact, the others complained that Claus received too many game pieces throughout his lifetime, that it was unfair that he received more opportunities than them, "This is unsightly.."

Claus tapped his finger on top of the table, closing his eyes and waiting for the others to stop, until he was snapped back with a slap to the face,

"Are you listening!?"

"Yes yes.." Claus rubbed his cheek, "You're all so eager. Don't you know what the master does after the game pieces die?" Claus stood up, creating a rectangular tv-like screen, then showed them images of their brethren who had disappeared within the last few years. When the spirits tried to exit the corpses, the spirits were pulled to Hell, tormented, and then were taken care of in a way where there were no longer traces of their souls left, "So ladies and gentlemen, who wants to receive the next game piece?"

There was a silence all around, and no one spoke up at the time. What they just saw was something they had never seen, for them who were immortal to finally see that death was possible for them. It was true they fought each other from time to time and didn't look like they could get along well, but all of them viewed each other as a close sibling, and seeing their brethren get eliminated to the point it was no longer possible for them to return was also something that caused pain and shock.

"And why didn't you inform us of this earlier?" one of them finally spoke up. It was obvious that Claus was the only one that was kept up to date with what happens to the others who were in the game after the switch to the new master, "You let them die just like that? And you were watching instead of saving their lives?"

"It's not like that. You noticed that the others took the game pieces within several years of each other, same as me. THEN after the fact, I saw what the master did to them and was prevented from helping them," Claus stirred his tea with a small spoon, "As for the answer for the first question. I didn't talk about it because a deal was made. I promised not to tell you about anything related to the issue of our deaths resulting from participating in the game, in exchange for the extension of my life..you know how selfish I am after all." Claus sat back and grinned, revealing sharp and pointed teeth that was common amongst their kind, "I'd prefer a short life to a long one where I am constantly pestered, and thus I told you. Oh~doesn't look like you want to go through that gate anymore---so you'll leave me alone now, yes?"

"This is serious..we have to find a new master or this..I don't want to see more of our kind dying,"
one of the others sat down, cradling his forehead in his hands as if his head were ready to explode and he were trying to prevent it, "We're the last of our kind...and he's sending us off to be slaughtered?" The others seemed to have the same view on the issue. Even if they held contempt for Claus, they didn't want to see him lose his life either...none of their lives.

"Yes yes, we are disposable game pieces I suppose.."

"It's the fleshies who are the disposable game pieces, not us!"

"A person with a master can very well be called a game piece. The master gives orders to the servant, and the servant performs their duties according to the orders. The master may or may not step in to tweak the outcome. Servant moves forward, stops, or moves back depending on the commands and setting. That's how WE have played the game, giving orders to the fleshies, tweaking events to send the game pieces along a various paths. That's how our MASTER plays us as well. We are the same," Claus was less pestered and more and more amused with their reaction, "Ooo~ here's something to think about: perhaps Juln has a goal in mind on top of our complete annihilation? What will he gain from eliminating us? Or perhaps...he doesn't intend on eliminating all of us but has instead chosen a different way to play the game, compared to the previous master."

((tasty trippy stuff OuO))

At least they stopped bothering Claus about opening the gate. Claus sighed with relief and sipped his tea again, the flavor was once again pristine. The others, on the other hand, were in various states: some grieving, others complaining, few attempting to figure out how to escape their fates, a handful doing nothing and simply left. It was a rare sight and Claus concluded it was what Juln was aiming for: causing grief and suffering rather than death, which would have explained why Juln had forced the key onto one person and that one person the only one at the time who was aware of what their fate was. Though it could be said that Claus happened to be Juln's main game piece set into motion to act as a catalyst for changing the others emotions and beliefs. Maybe Juln had tweaked more than enough of Claus without Claus being aware of it...or worse, the original Claus was already dead and he was just the memories embodied in a look alike container, maybe Juln having full reign.

Claus didn't have enough evidence to confirm how much more of a role or a how much more of a relationship he had with Juln, but it seemed like he was meant to find out. Claus suspected that it was going to end tragically from the light of the recent events.

He stood up, and walked off, disappearing and reappearing back in the room, allowing the other Claus to move again. He yawned on the bed, still holding the crowbar, "Aww...I can't remember that one...poops..."

[we is the game pieces..nyahahah..]

"Vampires? Like, who's the vampy here?" Heath looked around, before returning his attention to Kari. He was about to get restless. All this to be taught on how to dance. He was thinking that maybe the dance could be use as an ability to fight off monsters.
He laughed a bit at the thought.
"Okay, so who is it? No really? Vampires?"

((your characters are the elements in the game OuO..unless you decide to have your characters be game pieces too lolol x'D))

//"Let's make something interesting happen ~" the other Claus experienced the same things as the game piece Claus, but even through the suffering he wanted to see how the story would play out. Aisu told him to stay in the room, and it would have been boring if he went out the third time. He was sure the same result would happen: Aisu getting upset and probably hurting him for it. So what can one person do to bring action into the room?

Claus iterated a simple incantation which made someone walk down the hallway and trip over herself just in front of the door, and her hand slammed against the door handle to aid in slowing her descent. Of course these victims could only be drawn by simple commands rather than the complex ones that he was capable of making his other self perform, and on top of that there was only a small fraction of the population that would fall under the spell, making the game more challenging. Claus grinned behind the face of his physical self, "Go answer the door...and..." He thought for a second, to make the encounter more interesting, "She'll fall into your arms---do something interesting for me, hmm?" That was of course vague enough to make it unpredictable. //

Claus walked to the door and opened it. It was at this time that the girl had used the door to help bring herself back to her feet and the door was no longer there to help her. She fell sideways and Claus caught her, "Whoa! Giant apples! They grow on doors!"

"Giant apples?...Oh, I'm sorry for bothering you...I'm just such a clutz,"
the girl wiggled out of Claus' arms and back into the hallway.

Claus of course wouldn't have this, and he lunged at her, grabbed her, and muffled her mouth while he dragged her back into the room and shut the door, "You know how hard it is to get apples around here? You need to stay so we can bake you into a pie!"

//Claus laughed, not expecting the results to be so drastic, but at this point he could almost make them do anything with each other, "Alright, elf girl, go flip Claus over and both of you fight. Make it a...destructive one. And...let's put a twist at the end, hmm?"//

She seemingly smiled
"as I'm sure Kora explained, no contract no answers" she mewed cheerfully.

The girl grabbed Claus' arm and managed to haul him over her shoulder and flip him upside down and onto his back. She made a swift stomp towards Claus' face, but Claus blocked it with his crowbar and pushed upward, sending the girl back onto the bed. Claus took the opportunity to try doing the same with her, only except he had the pointed in of the crowbar aimed at her face and she narrowly evaded the assault by rolling across the bed.

"Are you insane!? You're going to kill me with something like that!"

"Of course. Apples are chopped before they're baked, right?" Claus' crowbar was sticking into the bed, and when he swung at her it ripped a gash in the mattress but Claus missed by a few inches and smashed the crowbar through the wall.

"Kora. Who is that? The vampire?" Heath's eyes looked upwards, trying to remember if he did know the name.
"Ah, you mean the wolf? Is that a female or male? Because I can never tell either apart. Again, with the 'no contract, no answer'. What am I, chopped liver?"

Without waiting for any response from Kari, Heath charged forward towards the ice. With his fist, he tried to break it apart. But there was no effect at all.
"Not even a crack. Jeez. Using something like this, are you a coward, Miss Smiley? Oh wait, you don't answer questions because 'no contract, no answer' right?" Heath took a step backward, his fingers trembling.

"I'm the strongest element, but don't worry it's not like I'm going to attack you with ice. i can't. and don't bother trying that again, it won't help it's laced with my chi. you can't get past like that." she told him in the same cheery tone.

"Wait, what's your name again?" Heath asked, tilting his head so he may get a good look at the little thing.

"Do I have to keep repeating myself? no contract no answers." kari mewed.

[lawls. hope he's alright XD]

"Damn little cretin." Heath muttered. "You're very interesting, you know that? No?" He sighed, now taking a few steps back. "I'm getting irritated. Bothersome."
Heath approached the ice wall, and began to carve something on it with his fingers.
"Bothersome. Bothersome. Bothersome."

she tried to remain cheerfull but that was HER ice.
"could you please leave now? I was having a nice time in my part of the mind before you came along. just turn around and walk the way you came. the exit should be that way." she mewed trying the stay calm.
{{he'll be fine. it's partly his fault, but since I'm the only other one home besides him, I'm taking care of him. some one has to.}}

((sounds like something painful X__x))

Claus crashed the opposite wall. By now the room had scorch marks and numerous areas that had been destroyed with Claus crowbar and kicks. The girl sat on a chair, exhausted from the intense fight,
"I'll get you some real apples if you stop attacking me.."

Claus waddled over, his left foot had been burned from one of the fire attacks and all he did was sit in front of the girl, "I'm not going to. But we have a break now so..." Claus stood up and leaned towards the girl, his face just inches from hers, "I think you're a beautiful apple~"

"Eh!?!?" she turned intensely red.

"A ripe one?" Claus moved an inch closer.
