Ambrose turned back to Colche, clearing his throat apologetically. "I'm sorry... yes... it is a pretty song. Reminds me of my father." He admitted.

"But nevermind that... it's a party. You are right. we sould dance." He stood up, letting the song shift randomly - to something much more dancable - 'Thriller'.

He extended his hand. "Come on, ballerina - I will dance with you."

Colche smiled, looking much more cheery now she let Ambrose leade her to the dance floor. She'd never danced in her life, though Ambroses' strange display earlier had intregued her. She didn't know a ballerina was a dancer in the least. A little giggle leaves her again as she stands there looking questioningly at the blond haired guy, begging to be taught this 'dance' The music was certainly more upbeat now and she liked the beat, she even automtically swayed a little in time to the tune awaiting her lesson, wanting to learn all about this dance.

((No problem - class wil be ending rather soonish. So feel free to write her out after this :3))

Ambrose kept the moves simple and yet peppy. He held her hands out in front of them and kept a smile on his face. A few times, he would sing along with the music in an attempt to bring forth a smile or a laugh from Colche.

He drew attention to the simple foot movements that he kept up. "Do you like dancing, Colche? You are dressed as a dancer." He smiled.

Aside from a few low points, Ambrose really was enjoying himself tonight. ANd he was happy helping Colche learn. He had surprised himself in how much he was enjoying instructing Amaya in learning fencing. Perhaps teaching was more enjoyable than he had given it credit for..

((tehee okies have a nice day / night / uh I'll catch ye laters we must rp again soonly ^-^!))

Colche nodded vigerously to the question of the dancing, even the cool murck of her eyes had lifted slightly with the fun of the movement the sound of the music, even listening to Ambrose sing along, that certainly broaght a giggle to her, how did he know the words? who taught him? could she learn them? A million questions zipped through her mind as she followed along with the bouncy dance. At last the song slowly drew to a close and colche gave a long, wide, tired yawn, the sun had long gone and her mind was full of questions she couldn't ask and answers she didn't quite understand "bed ambrose" she whispers rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand pushing away the sleepy tears that filled her eyes. Looking to the older blond haired man she smiled and even contemplated hugging him. She had had a hug off Ambrose before, she had felt jealous of the interaction with somone else then. Now, she just wanted ambrose to know she was happy to thank him.

She smiled, a genuine smile which lit up those blue pools making them lively and bright. All her courage leapt forwards as she hugged the older guy, extremely quickly before she bolted off out of the tent, she was frightend of reprimand even now, she had always been the subordinate to another, always on the bottom so to speak. She whispers a thankyou as she rushed from the tent towards her quiet little duplex, where perhaps this night she wouldn't dream of the dark, of the cold, perhaps she would dream of the song about the stars.

Ambrose jivved across the dancefloor with Colche along to the song, letting depressing thoughts of home and his previous life drift away from his mind wiht the lively present. Costumes, good food, friendly people, and fun music. For that moment, Ambrose let himself enjoy himself.

Finally, the song drew to a close and he walked her to the edge of the tent as she gave him the wide yawn. "Sleepy, Colche? It is late. I hope that you sleep well, and have nice dreams." He smiled.

He paused as it appeared that she was debating something. But before he could ask what it was, she wrapped her arms around him in a hug. His surprise melted to a warm fuzzy feeling as she was obviously moving forward in her confidence - both in him and her. He smiled tenderly and returned the hug. "Nice dance, Colche." He said quietly. "And I will see you again later." He patted her back and stepped back, watching her bolt out into the night.

Moreau walked into the party late, it was nearing it's close and the crowd had dwindled atleast a little bit. He smiled confidently with Aubrey on his arm, after all, he'd hosted this entire thing. Aubrey had been bothering him all night to come out here but he'd been so busy in his lab.

Still, eventually she had convinced him and now here he was. He didn't show it, too much, but based on his last encounter with his ungreatful subjects he was a bit nervous. Still, he could not allow that to show even on their keen senses and if there was one thing Moreau was it was a man of control.

He walked over and poured himself and Aubrey glasses of punch. Handing it to her without actually asking if she wanted any or not seemed commonplace, after all he was just being romantic correct?

Aubrey stuck close to MOreau's side, her flesh-golem costume looking quite impressive. She had spent hours on her make-up, and had then spent even more hours trying to convince Moreau to actually take her to the party. She was quite upset it was so late by the time he agreed, but she tried not to let it show. Moreau's Dr. Frankenstein/mad scientist outfit was insanely easy to throw together given how... unkempt he already was due to his obsessive dedication to whatever new project he was working on.

She took the glass of punch, but was more interested in seeing how else was about. She eyed the karaoke machine and cracked a smile.

"So you wanted to come out here Aubrey..." Moreau did a half grin and a half shrug. "What exactly do you want us to do here?"

Moreau wasn't... used to parties in fact he didn't find himself particurally comfortable with them. He'd been trained in the proper way to behave at one, but as he was growing up he normally avoided them.

The ones he had gone to when he was older were full of rich snobs and investors, and this was nothing like that of course. This was so poor, so commonplace he wasn't sure why Aubrey wanted to be out here among these.... subjects.

"Oh... I dunno..." she said, leaning into him a bit with a smile. "There's dancing. Or maybe if I get you drunk enough there's karaoke or bobbing for apples." She didn't give any indication she was joking, except for a twinking in her eye.

"I might need a bit... or a lot of alchohol among this rabble." Moreau was feeling particurally high and mighty tonight.

"But if you want, we can dance..." he smiled.

Ambrose had just finished refilling his plate after Colche had departed (he had never gotten the opportunity to actually eat when he was intending on it as she had distracted him) and was taking a sip of the bubbling punch when he nearly choked as he saw a familiar couple entering the tent. He hadn't seen either of them in a while... especially the "gentleman" - if one could really call him that.

He swallowed awkwardly, coughing a little to try to make up for the drink nearly going down the wrong tube and/or out his nose uncomfortably to regain some semblance of decorum. He hadn't expected them to actually show up personally. Well, maybe Aubrey, but not Moreau. And he apparently was appropriately dressed as a mad scientist. Of course, among them all, he was the least in costume - including Awen. Aubrey was a matched set - some sort of Frankenstein apparently.

Ambrose lingered by the table, waiting to see what they would do, taking a bite of the meatball on the toothpick.

Aubrey pulled Moreau towards the dance floor. "Don't be that way. Try to have fun.."

She wrapped her arms around his waist and spotted Ambrose over his shoulder. She smiled and waved to him, obvious he was staring.

Moreau began to dance with Aubrey as he looked around at the subjects that were present and the mess that had been made so far. They were all in for a suprise soon though he doubted they would appreciate his genius.

Moreau went through all the motions of the ballroom dancing he'd been taught. He didn't know much else and probably looked a bit silly considering the music. Still he wanted to make Aubrey happy for the night.
