don't kill it.. if its got the same model number you can use it for parts or maybe even fix ur old one and have two or sell it.........

duh........ i'm a nerd i can tell you how to fix it.....
you said it was the plug right?
well it's probably just a loose connection........all you need is a cross point screw driver to take off the case

can you describe what the problem with the plug was.......... wobbley? looks fine on the outside but doesn't always get power?......... shoots sparks at you?

the power turns off some times.and i don,t think it was wobbley but i,ll take a look.

sounds like a short.......... but it could also be a bad capacitor...... those things cause endless problems........
