Sephiroth shook the water from his body, though it was still stuck in his hair. "This is one of the bad things about having long hair..."
Blaze and Frost laughed as they freewheeled through the sky.

"We'll see about that," Frost stated. She looked at Bella, a mishievous grin on her face. "Bahamut is known as the master of the sky, and we have the energies from his materia in us."

"Well since I can absorb water and its raining out, I can make my wingspan even larger than its already is and its one flap, I can leave you in the dust. Still up to it", smirked Bella, making her wing bigger, from 40 feet to about 50 feet

"Do the leaves fall in autumn?" Frost asked. A smirk alighted upon her face. "And a bigger wingspan can have its downfalls. For one, you're more vulnerable to crosswinds, because your surface area's increased. And your wings are made of water. Where there's rain, lightning is most likely to follow, especially with the size of the storm your wings whipped up. And water's highly conductive to electricity.
You're basically a flying lightning rod. Still up to it?" Frost asked in return.

"I love risks", said Bella as she licked the water off her lips. "...But...who said I need to big wings to win". Bella made her wings about 4 feet and sped away, making her whole body water

"Hey, that's not fair, you got a head start!" Frost shouted. With a single flap of her wings, she sped off after Bella, her twenty-foot wingspan (ten feet wings each side) pushing the air behind her.
((OMG, did you hear? They're remaking Pokémon Gold and Silver!))

((So... AWESOME! Generation II was definitely my favorite of the games.))
"Says you!" Frost remarked. She beat her wings faster, picking up speed. As she looked about her, she made sure not to be caught in between two walls. Those two walls, as the wind sweeps between them, will cause a wall of wind. It'll propel me straight into the air... but upside-down.
It's impossible to fly upside down, and the speed one would fall, at terminal velocity, it would be impossible to correct it. It'd be a fall to certain death, she thought.

Bella appeared in front of Frost with a 80 foot wingspan and created a brust of wind to hold her back, while Bella turned into vapor again

"Ugh!" Frost exclaimed, buffeted by the winds. The force of the gale sent her reeling backwards... upside-down. Try as she might, she could not escape the death spiral. She could not close her eyes; the fear of what would happen prevented her from doing so as she awaited the impact upon the ground that would prove her mortality.
"Frost, no!" Blaze shouted. He quickly sped off towards her, his arms outstretched to catch her. I'm not going to make it at this rate, she's falling too fast! he thought. He increased his speed, determined to recover her from her free-fall.
With a quick dart, he made it, just in time, the two only a couple of feet from the ground as he caught her. Terra had been holding on the entire time, her bright blue eyes saturated with fear for the turquoise dragoness she knew as her friend.
He gently placed Frost on the ground, and looked on in pity as she trembled, her fear finally catching up to all other senses. "Frost..." he whispered.

Bella appeared and landed gracefully on the ground, she gasped. "Oh no, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry!", gasped Bella going closer to Frost. "I didn't know, I'm sorry"

"It's... it's alright," Frost stated, in an empty tone. The lie was easily transparent.
Blaze looked at Bella, a concerned expression on his face. "There are things about flight that you didn't know. Over the years for Frost and I, we learned about dangers of flying," he stated. His gaze turned to Frost, who had shifted out of her draconic form, her blond locks splayed on her face.
"These dangers are great, even fatal. When flying, you should always avoid going between two walls. A wall of wind is created in between them, and sends anything with wings higher up into the air, albeit upside-down," he continued. His scarlet eyes flickered with concern as he held Frost close to himself. "When upside-down, it's impossible to fly. Flapping your wings is useless, and you're pulled into what's known to birds and dragons as a death spiral.
"It's impossible to turn yourself right-side up. You free-fall towards the ground at terminal velocity, at which point, even if someone was flying down to catch them, it's too late. They're done for, unless someone's flying upwards or horizontally to meet them," he finished.

"And I made it worst", sighed Bella. Bella started to cry. "I almost killed you. I'm so sorry", sobbed Bella

"There's no reason to be sorry... Bella," Frost shakingly remarked. She looked at Bella, still trembling from the near-death experience. "You didn't know. It's not your fault."
Terra quickly jumped off of Blaze's back and ran to Frost, hugging the woman in an attempt to calm her down.
Blaze smiled at this display and shifted back to his human guise, his scarlet hair floating behind him. "Terra... you're not grounded. You've already experienced enough. Seeing something like this is worse than the punishment I had planned." He quickly strode to Frost and helped her to her feet, before lifting her up. "Come on, we're heading back."
Cid had seen the events from the 7th Heaven Bar and shook his head, his eyes closed. "Well, I guess Bella's learned a few more things about flight now." He looked to Yuffie, a grim expression on her face. "That was a close shave for Frost. I wouldn't be surprised if this has an affect on her for months, if not permanently."
