He's lazy. He's totally content to let other people be the heroes; about the only time he'll pick up his sword to fight is if he believes there's no other choice and it's for a reason important enough to blow his cover for. I figure it provides balance, since he is kind of on the strong side. That's just the way he is. XD I think we have enough eager Shinigami to accomplish tasks like protecting human towns.

10th; he was the original Captain of that Division, so he feels at home there, though he's not even an officer anymore, much less in charge. ^^ He should probably be added to that list we have here in the main forum...

Seriously Zeke? And when I just got a perfect ending to my novel? It's a freaking final good bye and you're telling me I've actually got to pay attention now... damn, my nanowrimo novel's never going to reach it's end... I may have gotten that allotted word count, but it doesnt' have a suitable ending yet.

See the little icon in my siggy? It means I've written a novel, but I didn't finish it, I just got the 50 thousand word minimum to win. That was in november, I've been trying to think of an ending for four months now and I finally got it. I want my time to write it!!!
It's tragic, they will never see each other again, I need to write it!!! If I have to actually start paying attention, I'll never get there...

Calm down IG I know its not easy I wrote something already. It took a while but, always doing other things leave new things to add to the next book you write or the second part to it where they actually do meet again. You have to always think outside of the box never end something that you know you can continue.
