Zyke: Hp: 307/457 rKp: 154/400 mKp: 0/792
Asteroid 3: Hp: 8/200 distance - 1 round
Zyke's excitement and relief skyrocketed at this point, the Asteroid was just moments away from crumbling into space dust and his training would be complete. Zyke felt like taking a good little rest, he had pushed himself hard these past few weeks with his training. Intense training was good for getting strong fast and keeping up your shape, but it was extremely taxing on the body, and could be catastrophic if not done in moderation. But these were all thoughts for another time, for now, he needed to give this asteroid the last blast it would need to crumble.

Asteroid 3: Hp: 8/200 distance - 1 round
All the shots hit their mark, shattering the Asteroid into thousands and thousands of little bits. So ecstatic at this was Zyke that even even launched a surplus of shots, blowing away many of the small bit into even smaller bits that not even a Namekian could sense. Zyke released all the tension he had been building up during the past few seconds, and let out a deep breath. This was one training session that he would not soon forget. He looked over to his side to see Arin over on the side of the ship. He could tell by the look in her eyes that she had been watching and judging Zyke on this. He may have done it rough, but he passed his test damn it! He smiled and laughed to himself inside his helmet, the darkened visor not showing his face through the other side. he lifted his arm nearest to Arin and raised a thumb up, a small, non-spoken message saying, "Hah, I had that down." He straightened himself up and began to fly slowly toward the docking bay doors.

(Ki ball, damage 712, range 306 feet)
Hp: 428/1140 Kp: 9/1369 MKp:1887/1887 Powerlevel: 15,732 Status: shell-shocked.
Arin watched as Zyke managed to scrape out enough power to finish the three rocks, and she felt something like pride. "Good jo-..." Her eyes grew large, and her jaw dropped as she felt something coming fast... Something even more powerful than herself. She turned her eyes heavenward and saw a frightening sight, to be sure. A massive black orb, smooth and compacted was hurtling toward them.It seemed that this was the source of the powerlevel she had felt... But it was just a rock, right?
Arin didn't want to take any chances. She raised her finger skyward, readying a massive ki ball, filling it with almost half of her entire wealth of ki. No way was she going to allow this thing to eliminate them. She knew that Zyke didn't have enough energy to help much, so she'd have to destroy the thing by herself, no matter how unexplainably powerful it may be. A massive ball of purple and black ki formed above her head, the diameter almost as wide as she was tall. Hurling this ball forward, she hoped it would be enough, but she needed to follow it, though, to make sure. This is gonna hurt... She blasted after her attack, the crashing air coming back in from the sudden absence of heat flinging her forward.
The explosion stretched three-hundred feet. More, in the vacuum of space. Arin was consumed in a blinding, black-and-purple inferno, and when it cleared, the rubble of the blasts was gone, as was Arin. Those who could feel powerlevels would note that both Arin's and the mysterious powerlevel disappeared, this of course being before a massive electrical discharge shorted ALICE's systems, and the ship began shaking, being pulled down toward the planet by its gravity. The planet was massive, colored the shade of blue one might expect of a water-covered planet, but even the vegetation was colored blue. ALICE was on a crash course with the planet.
Arin had vanished from sight in the inferno, and truthfully, even she didn't know what had happened, but she knew that she couldn't move, and that she was falling... Her entire body was paralyzed, and she didn't have the will to fight it. She saw ALICE begin to fall after her. She'd had to trust the team to prevent the destruction of their ship... Or not... She didn't have any idea what was going to happen, but at this moment, all she could think about was her collision with the planet. She was positive that she could survive it, but she wasn't sure ALICE could survive an impact from that distance. Arin could feel the fire of reentry beating at her, but it wasn't damaging. At its best, it was a minor nuisance. The purple glow from her attack was burned in her retinas, but for some reason, she imagined a flash of green, as well. Who knows? Maybe it has something to do with my paralysis... It paralyzed ALICE, for sure...
((No other characters were paralyzed.))
((Ok, guys. Mission time. No rest, no recovery. At this moment, ALICE is falling to the planet, and it's going to take a strength check to save her. punch her, fly into her, or just try to lift her. Each point of damage or point of strength check, or even a sustained ki blast or ki shots will lower the overall damage when she impacts the surface. Arin's location is unknown, her powerlevel drowned out by the background power of the planet. The planet's info is unknown, but it is 13 times the size of earth, its gravity twenty times earth's gravity, with no moons. The waters are flat, and the land makes 50% of the planet's surface. The creatures inhabiting it are unknown for now, obviously scared off by the commotion. Keep track of damage inflicted to ALICE and [1d20 + ki mod + ki control] for flight, or [1d20 + STR MOD + WIS MOD] for trying to hold her up. She will hit the planet. Just how hard is up to you. She has ten rounds until impact. Good luck. Each check takes one turn, so one combat action. at level 5, you have two, at level 10, you have three, and at level 15, you have four. Zyke, for all intents and purposes, your exp hasn't been gained yet, (also, I haven't graded it) so you are exactly the same as you were when you finished the training. Godspeed, man... post up until you have made the tenth post, and ALICE is nearing the ground, not water. There is no way to stop her, and I will calculate the damage she takes when I return, but be assured that any damage you inflict on her will be more than made up for by the deceleration. Damaging the ship will not cause it to be worse off, but instead better off in the long run.))

Zyke paused when he heard Arin speak, but began to wonder why she had suddenly stopped, when it suddenly hit him. He felt a massive Ki from above and looked up to see the same large black shape that Arin had already noticed. Damn, I shouldn't have let my guard down, how could I miss something like this?!? He prepared to do something to attempt to stop it when the side of his vision suddenly became illuminated in purple light. Zyke looked over to see a large ki ball being formed by Arin above her.
Zyke watched in awe as Arin hurled this large ball of ki up into the sky at the incoming object, the two objects impacting with a tremendous crash, followed by an explosion that could have very well just as easily destroyed Alice should it have been too much closer. Zyke had barely enough time to cross his arms in front of him and curl his legs in as the shock wave from the explosion hit him, sending him rocketing away from the scene. As soon as he felt the initial wave subside, he caught himself out of his trajectory. He could barely see anything through his helmet, the visor had become cracked and nearly shattered by the force that had pushed him this far. Zyke needed to see what was happening to assess what to do. He took a deep breath and threw off his helmet. He saw Alice already on a collision course with a nearby planet that Zyke had not made note of previously.
Zyke instantly took flight toward Alice, it was obvious to see that the explosion had taken it's effect on the ship's systems, and it would not be able to prepare itself for the impact, leaving Zyke to try to stop it. While he was in flight, Zyke tried to catch and sign of Arin's ki that he could, but couldn't find any, the odd effect of Alice's shields weren't helping him any either. Zyke had to make a quick judgment about what to do next. He had no clue as to how he could find or help Arin at all, and he believed it unlikely that the explosion could have done anything major to a Super Saiyan like her, so he could only try to stop the ship's momentum enough to spare it from impact.

Zyke flew around to the base of the ship that was facing the planet, effectively putting himself between Alice and the unknown planet. He placed his hands on the surface and began to put all his power into flying in the opposite direction. He didn't know how much he could do, but his instinct called him to do anything within his ability to change the current outcome to a different course.
He pushed himself to fly as fast and hard against the ship as possible, the gravity of the planet below causing Alice to fall at an alarming rate, running Zyke's time very low. All of his muscles tensed as he began to fight against this great gravity with everything he had. The gloves of the suit were making it very hard for Zyke to keep his hands in place on the ship, the material just slipping and causing his arms to spread across the surface. There isn't much that he could do sprawled across the front of the ship like a bug splattered on the window, yeah?

He let go of the ship for the second and flipped him self around, planting his feet on the ship, proceeding to fly downward as fast as he possibly could. While he had a few second of freedom with his hands, grabbed at the sleeves of his suit and tore them off, one at a time. The left sleeve almost completely came off, just a small bit of material left and the should. The right sleeve tore off from just above the elbow. Now with his hands having some proper grip, he could return to giving it his all.
He flipped himself around and resumed to fight against the ship right-side-up, the gravity of the planet taking greater effect at this closer position. Zyke had begun to breath again, Alice still somewhat pumping oxygen into a now uncontrolled area around the ship, and some atmosphere from the below planet beginning to become present.

The atmosphere began to take a greater presence in the area as Zyke and the ship continued to fall. Zyke's arms were beginning to grow tired, and he still wasn't at 100% from his training. He slid his arm down and began to fly and push against the ship with his shoulder. He still had no idea whether or not his efforts were actually having any effect what so ever. He pushed more into the ship, It seemed as though no one inside had noticed, or they must have been unconscious, and Arin was no where in Zyke's range of notice, so it was all up to him.
He could feel heat begin to come up on his feet, and began to hear the sound of air in his ears. The atmosphere of the planet was coming up under him, the half-way point of his endeavor almost upon him.

The sound of the air beginning to rush around him was deafening. Zyke couldn't even hear himself begin to curse as the burn of reentry started to build around him and the ship. The side of the ship began to start heating, burning Zyke's shoulder. The damage was superficial though, he'd taken ki shots from low level warriors worse than this and has been more hurt. Even so, the heat was having it's effect. His skin was beginning to become en-flamed, his skin turning red and becoming extremely tender to the touch, the high amount of air pressure agitating it.
The tell-tale combustion started to show around the falling shape of Zyke and the Ship falling through the atmosphere. A loud roaring sound, something like the roaring of an engine or a Porsche, could be heard by anyone or anything nearby.

Zyke lost his grip on the ship, sliding across the surface and beginning to fall into the planet behind Alice. He free fell behind her for a second. A few thoughts went through his head as he was behind the ship. The planets below, and here I am drifting, no falling, to it. I'm practically floating here weightless, Falling, falling. Hum, breaks over, time to save the day again. Zyke caught himself out of his free fall and flew back to in front of the ship, placing his shoulders on it by his back. He began to fly full force against it again, putting all his force into cushioning the impact with the planet, which he now believed to be inevitable.

Sweat began to collect on Zyke's brow, the heat and tension getting to him. Zyke opened his eyes slightly, and behind lashes and tears, he could see a large mass of blue begin to creep it's way up to his feet. He pushed up against the ship even harder, his jaw locking from the pressure that he had against Alice.

Zyke and the ship were completely in the planet's skies now, the air blowing hard against Zyke as he and the ship continued their plummet toward the ground. No animals or birds were visible from what Zyke could see, they all apparently must have sensed the oncoming impact and fled to a safe distance. There wasn't very much time left for Zyke to slow this beast's fall as much as possible with only a few moments left.

The ground was almost upon him when Zyke put in one last hard push against the ship before he had to abandon it to save his life. He threw one last hard push of ki into an upward thrust of flight against Alice before he abandoned ship. ((hehe)) Waiting till the last moment to leave. For just a fraction of a second, his feet actually touched the ground. For that one moment he was on one knee, Alice on his shoulders between his arms and behind his head. After just one moment like this, he vanished, using blinding speed to dash out of the before he was crushed by the tons of ship that was directly over head.
He landed in a roll, only actually rolling for a moment before Alice struck the ground, the shock-wave sending Zyke flying hundreds of yards away. Zyke landed rolling on his side. He stopped and immediately clutched his side. His ribs had been broken upon impact, probably by a large stone he must have landed on. The wound was nothing that a good rest and some healing couldn't handle. He stood up and looked at the impact site, there was a large cloud floating in the area around the impact zone, and he couldn't see anything through it. He fell to one knee, the gravity hitting him like a sack of bricks.
A moment to rest was what he needed right now, he'd wait for a bit and make a decision on what to do next after he could assess on his situation better.
(Final number for Mitigation came to 3164, god only knows if it's good or bad. Lite and Selena might be in trouble unless Rota would like get on a do something with them)
