You know, I didn't play Touhou games so much, nor listen to music, or videos as much. It wasn't until I found out one of my friends (not so close, mind you, but still a great guy) liked it a lot that I felt like I needed to appreciate it more.
Now I have gigs of music that I listen to all the time, play the games regularly (painfully going through 9.5, that game is hard man), and love the fanbase. All thanks to this guy that I found I could talk about this and that. I mean, we were never THAT close, but...
He died last night.

Anatole_serial Now I [...] love the fanbase. I wish I could agree with that. I'm kind of tsundere for it; it's a big melting pot of dedicated fans who create awesome doujin art and music along with -literally- hordes of retards who sometimes even take fanon stuff as seriously as ingame facts. Let me illustrate: here, and here. The first one stands for the part of the Touhou fandom I love; the second one is the pinnacle of its degradation. I'm so sorry, really I am.

Damn dude.......that's hard to deal with, my suggestion is to find the nearest place that has a two-pound burger(if you're not vegan) and try to eat in in a half an hour, you'll either do it and be in a better mood, or have one hell of a stomacheache, either way there'll be something to take your mind off things. It works for me, so there's a good chance it'll work for you too. As an alternative, you could listen to these, I find them to be quite relaxing, and they help me gather my thoughts.

I'm an optimist, always. You can't have the Good and Awesome without the Terrible and Horrible, hence why I accept them both (But avoid the bad anyways). Fanon is a thick gray line of stuff: If it is fun, sure, why not? I mean, the culture behind culture was built upon it. But sometimes you find things that just make you cringe, you know? Like, the fanon of the fanon of the fanon. Unhealthy stuff, no basis with the accepted canon facts. That's just not fun for everyone, man. Thanks. You could request it to be made from turkey or chicken or something, those aren't red meat. And have you ever actually ate a 2-pound turkey burger before? Heaven on a bun, not even Satori could resist such a meal.....Because if I can't, then what chance would she have?
