Oh well. Personally, I liked Sora better in KHI (despite his awsome Riku loveness in KH2).
I mean, he wasn't as Gary-Stu-ey in KH1, he wasn't racist against nobodies (which pissed me off), and the story focused more on him and his friends. >_>There's a difference between rasism and 'knowledge'-shoved-down-one's-throat-by-a-goddam-mouse-and-b*****d-in-a-pointy-hat... Were he given a good punch in the face and a loud rant, I think he might realise he's being completely manipulated... >>" Gah. Plus, you have to admit that, asaid from him being a b***h occassionally for no apparent reason, every time a Nobody showed up, they almost always try to kill him... ...What I mean to say is that he is sadly uniformed, and the actions of most Nobodies are not promting him to look for other information. And yeah; they got really lazy in KH2 what with the worlds... Okay, I can see the lack of plot in the Collosium, and the Beast's Castle - but what about Mulan's world? What about POC? What the HELL? He just... waltzs in, fixes stuff, leaves... wtf? And how did he get away with his appearence in POC? And what about DONALD AND GOOFY...!? Geeze... And, I dunno what they call them in China, but in ancient Japan, if those three were seen, we'd call 'em either Kami or Youkai. Sheesh.
Those filler worlds were horrible. And why didn't Goofy and Donald do more? Then maybe people would stop being so biased against them. D:

And Donald's supposed to keep Goofy in line with these sorts of things. Why does it seem the other way around in KH2?

Because Square was more interested in showing off the depth of the battle system than focusing on the fine intracacies of the plot. ^^;

Well... part of it might be that Donald and Goofy know that they can't keep Sora from meddling regauardless. ^^; We all saw that in Kingdom Hearts 1.... Maybe they gave up? xD

I don't think it was. In fact, I'm pretty sure it wasn't.
Poor Donald and Goofy. They got more character developement in the first game, considering they became Sora's friends then.
Well, Goofy did die for five seconds. Does that count? God that was the wierdest five second plot twist evah.
