Ecthelion blinked at Miyu and tilted his head curiously. "Celeborn goes on all the hunts," he pointed out, "not just a few!"

Of course, he didn't know Celebor, so it was easy for him to get the two names mixed up.

"Besides," he added, "I thought Celeborn didn't have kids. Least, not little ones ..."

Aras was slowly beginning to get over her shyness, and she tried to peer past Ecthelion into the house.

"What's in there?" she asked curiously. She had seen the palace before, but not an actual house. Even going through the portal, that had been the inn - and it wasn't quite the same.

Ecthelion looked over his shoulder into the house. "Um ... everything?" he supplied. "This is where me and my Mama and Papa live. And my baby brother, whenever Mama and Papa finally say I can have one."

He grinned at them all. "Wanna see?"

Ecthelion beamed. "This way!" he encouraged them, beckoning for them to come into the house. "Come on, Mama's doing baking, maybe she'll have something for us!"

Ruque was feeling rather safe here, so he was the one to lead the way inside. It was funny, but he felt safer in this new world than he had ever felt back home ...

Aras smiled up at Miyu. "He's nice," she said warmly as they headed inside, with Kanis and Aragost following.

"I sure am!" Ecthelion grinned at Miyu and Aras. Of course, with his elven hearing, he had no trouble overhearing them - though it seemed he wasn't the only one.

"Ecthelion," a soft voice drifted from the kitchen, "I told you to invite them all inside right away, not make them stand outside for several minutes while you questioned them."

The little boy grinned. "That's Mama," he said proudly.

Rose laughed softly and came out to the hallway, since the kitchen wasn't big enough for everyone to gather in there. She smiled widely when she saw everyone. "Hello, Miyu," she said warmly. "It's been a long time since I've seen you."

Not that she knew her very well, but they had been staying in the same house, after all.

"And more visitors," she beamed. "Who are all of you?"

Ruque looked up at Rose. She seemed really nice ...

"I'm Ruque," he introduced himself. "And these are my sisters, Aras and Kanis."

Rose's eyes lit up brightly. "Really?" she smiled. "I know Celebor - he was the one saved me and Roydon!"

She knelt down and hugged her son tightly. "Their father is the one that I told you about," she told him happily. "When the bad men had me and your uncle, he was the one who got rid of the bad men and took us here to be safe."

Ecthelion was in awe. "Really?" he breathed.

But he wasn't nearly as filled with awe as the three children were.

"Daddy did that?" Aras blinked, in complete shock. "But ..."

Kanis's brow furrowed thoughtfully. "But if Father does that kind of stuff ... why did he send us to a different trainer?"

Kanis nodded thoughtfully, though she wasn't entirely convinced.

Ecthelion looked up at everyone. "Can we go see him?" he asked. Celebor was something of a legend to him, more so than the other hunters, despite the fact that he had only been on a few hunts. For him, it was like the chance to meet one of the Valar.
