Aruil Weights exist. The DC thread in the Game System subforum outlines generally how they affect your character. It is not frowned upon at all. It's the opposite of being lazy since the lowered stats that the weights cause generally make the training take even longer to complete. Which would actually get you MORE exp right? o-o Haha epic.

j3susfr3ak1991 Qyp j3susfr3ak1991 Are there weights, like Rock Lee's? If there aren't then maybe make them so they have a negative modifier when you are wearing them. Like maybe depending on the weight maybe a modifier of -1 or -2 to your dexterity and strength rolls, for beginners. The more weight the bigger the modifer. But you get bonuses for training with them on. Like maybe an extra +1 or +2 dexterity and strength on top of what you already trained. Again, the heavier the weights the higher the return. Just a thought. The weights Lee uses are actually small weights with like, nothing to them really... But I think secretly, Guy knows his fuuin. Probably even better than Kakashi actually, considering he could use fuuin to seal "heavy chakra" to the weights. OR it could be fuuin that has shrunk some large weights into small ones, but the density is the same... I am not actually sure, I will have to figure it out... But fuuin isn't limited to sealing, because that is proven with the Fourth's Flying Thunder God technique and derived Fuuin/Jikuukan Ninjutsu. I remember that they had the word "Guts" on them. I knew I think it is the first thing you said. Of course an academy student, like my character, wouldn't be able to make them himself, he would have to get help to make them. Hrm, I see... Narutopedia doesn't seem to have anything on them... so i will need to find a different website... Lol.

On the Game System Thread, I think it is more so lifting weights, and such. Not the actual items themselves. I'm referring to an item that constantly effects your every movement. I don't mean strapping them on to your legs or arms when you train.

Well I think it's irrelevant cause you can just adjust your DC if you have high str but if you want to be realistic then yes you can decrease your str mods with weights.

The weights would however actually come into play during a fight K. Though for normal training you're right, we can just adjust the DC to whatever we feel.

I think it needs to be a little more realistic than that. An academy student is anywhere from 7 to 12. I doubt they are going to be able to have that much weight strapped to them without it encumbering them too much.
Kouri, I'll start working on them. Just like in the show, living with the weights on definitely was a plus to Lee's speed, and strength. There should be rewards for keeping them on. I'll try to hash them out.

J3, Lee didn't get the weights until he was a Genin, so I would say the academy student wouldn't have weights, heck, wouldn't be allowed... So dude, wait until your character is a Genin before worrying about it...

I agree, a character shouldn't be able to obtain them until at least genin level. However, I have nothing better to do at the moment since I cannot post until the time change is complete. Plus, if I make them now, they will be ready for my character when he becomes a genin. Also, if anyone else wants to use them, it would be selfish of me to not make them until I wanted to use them.

About the help, right on. You can help me tweak it after I get the jist of it down.

I know we shouldn't have another country used by a whole forum, but I think Land of Iron (Samurai Country) should be made, But in the land of Iron, the newest leader could be... the missing Master. BUAHAHAHAHAHA~

That's actually a great idea XD I don't want to revive what's his name though sad He was a child anyway. I've actually got an article about the Iron Country in the newspaper that's coming out. It can be the basis for a random plot. {The Iron Country would go in the Additional Countries bla bla subforum}
