Kira's tears spilled down her cheeks now as JoJo looked over her shoulder timidly. "Well I'm sorry that I ******** forgot!" She sobbed angrily. "I'm sorry that when I'm about to fight someone, I don't think about Love. But I guess it wouldn't matter anymore if I told you that ... that I love you too!" Her last sentence came out as an accusing hiss.
Kira put her hand on her forehead and looked away toward a dead tree. When she looked at Akane again, it was of such sorrow that Joey could feel it without seeing it. "I... I've had a long, terrible life.... And I'm ready for it to end."
Those were Kira's final words before she jumped into a tree and disappeared as she ran through the treetops.
JoJo watched Kira leave and stared at the last spot he saw her. His gaze slowly turned from sadness to an unbelieving expression as his head slowly turned to look at Akane.

Akane shot a glare at Joey that would tell him that if he tried to follow, he'd regret it. Without warning, Akane shot forward, following right behind Kira before long. He wold rush through the trees right beside her, a look of pure and utter sadness in his eyes, as well as his voice.
"Kira. Can I please explain myself? I'm not asking for forgiveness, just a chance to explain."

"Whatever Akane!" She shouted. "But I'm not stopping here! If you can catch up, well then lucky you!"
