Tobias looked up in surprise at Carmen. He had been a bit lost in his own musings, he almost hadn't noticed her quiet greeting! Feeling rude, he quickly replied with a bewildered "Hello!"

"I'm sorry, I didn't hear you at first..." He continued after the slightest of hesitations, "I'm Tobias."

Gizmo nodded his muzzle and let his eyes trace the sky, I bored, so left to find fun, I walk for while and smell something. He would get up at this point and jump down to stand in front of Kam-Kam, acting out the story as he spoke. He sniffed at the air and glanced at the minty pup before continuing. Something smell familiar...but strange too...so I walked and walked and walked till I heard noise.

His fur bristled slightly and he crouched a little lower, Then out of trees jumps pup! She green so spotted easy in snow, she tell me her name Jade and said she liked my name. He stood straighter, eyes sparkling.

She ask where live, I tell her bout pack and she want join. His tail wagged slowly, So I say yes and start lead her home. Then! This time he flattened himself to the ground and twitched his ears. Hear strange sound, Jade panic and run in wrong direction. I try tell her but she no hear so I run after.

He paused for a moment to lick at his nose, pulling himself back into a seated position. My nose smell long-ears and tummy remembers how empty it is so I say: "we go hunting" and Jade say yes. She chase the furries and I pounce, rar! catch! He mimicked this movement, scuffling about in the snow, Eat it I do, or half of it. Save rest for her. Yet why I here the masked wolf appear with crow. He all sad eyes and thank me for being kind. He not scary like others make out. Then brother came with Lexi and told him to go 'way and I sneak off to find Jade.

Pausing here he tilted his head back to the sky drawing in a long breath. I find mossy pup and we go to pack, but take wrong turn and suddenly strange smells appear in my nose. We go investigate and find two-leg den, there was strange dancing grey stuff that Jade said called 'smoke' and another thing on ground. It was like a bird but also not like a bird. Jade said she want keep and we head to pack.

He let out a row of excited yips, dashing in a circle before hopping up to sit by Kamali once more. Lera not happy to see Gizmo and Jade, she growl and be mean cos of puppies, but Haku came and said Jade join. Then I came here, saw Kam-Kam here alone.

The pups had drifted off to sleep, their paws twitching ehre and there. The young wolf, Lexi had gained Lera's trust; as the pack bonds had been rather shakey over the past efw days due to the death of Sable. Lera felt comforted with another wolf in there, but still her ears were kept sharp; from any sounds inside the den. At the first sign of den Lera would rush in, but she tried to keep a calm posture; she had not seen her mate in a while.

Lera exited the den, shaking the dirt out of her pelt. Lera turned her head, looking about, and then looked over to Haku. She lowered her stomach to the ground; licking at his face. She was so happy; and showed this eagerly. Lera whinned with happiness as her tail swung back and forth. There were no words to express her sheer joy and Lera quickly cuddled up besides him.

*Slightly taken aback from the adolescent wolf's reponce her ears layed back slightly. She didnt mind that he didnt hear her... most others usually didnt pay attention to her anyways. Giving another slight nod in his direction she just sat their for a second thinking once again to herself. Maybe it was best for Carmen to leave, and give Lexi and Lera time to themselves. It isnt like Carmen was needed anywhere anyways... The soft movement of her tail was heard as it swayed back and forst slowly on the snow.*

"So, how long have you been in this pack? I've havent ever seen you before."

He smirked and nodded, "We did it Lera. We did it." SMirking, he would glance around their lands that he could see from this position. "We are alphas of a big pack, we have pups... I love all of this." Giving her a nod, he would n** at her ear playfully. "You're a great alpha, and a great mother."

"Beautiful name, for what I'm sure are to be beautiful children." Nodding, he would lick at the snow randomly, then nuzzle her again. He was hyper as well, but there was nothing he could do about it, really. "So two females, and a male, ne? I'm sure they'll be great wolves. Just look at their mother." Smirking at her, he would snuggle a bit closer to her.

He noticed the weather as well, but was not worried about it. There was a rather large den that the entire pack could stay in comfortably. But, naturally, the others might one individual dens later. That could be fixed after they settled in. "Ill protect you. I love you, remember?"

Sitting, Tobias looked to the ground, wondering how to answer Carmen's question. He wasn't quite sure when he started being in the pack. He thought back to when he first tracked down and found the pack while they were traveling. Perhaps then? It seemed like the alpha, on that day, just accepted him into the pack. He didn't question his being there. That should have been... perhaps a week ago. Only a week. Although he wasn't sure. Time was hard to keep track of.

"I think... I believe it has only been two weeks." he said, still wondering exactly how much time it had been.
