 Oriana gave him an odd look at how sure his no was, then looked over at her sister and couldn't help but chuckle, "I take it you're not much of a dancer, Auren?"

"No, I'm not." he grumbled. The last time he had danced was hundreds of years ago... before he became an Einherjar. That was with Tethys... Oh well.
It was the last time he was ever considered 'normal' by anyone's standards. So it was a bit of an emotional subject for him. He sighed, shaking his head. "The last time I did... was a long time ago. I would also leave it under that."

Hali looked over at Oriana, who was looking kind of down, but Hali knew it went deeper than that. She grabbed Auren's wrist and smiled, "Well, maybe attending will change your mind... I mean..." "You'll dance at our reception, won't you?" Oriana mumbled, not knowing how her sister would react. Hali stared at Oriana in disbelief, then looked back at Auren, "You..." she began but broke it off and reached out for Oriana's left hand; sure enough, there was the ring. she squealed and scooped Oriana up into her arms, "You're finally engaged!!!" Oriana had a look of misery as her sister swept her around the room in fits of joy, but let her continue with it; she had been waiting a long time for her sister to get married.

Auren shook his head. To ask him to not dance at his own wedding reception was effectively the same as asking him to not breath or something silly like that.
"Of course I would." he said hastily as he watched Hali spin Oriana around the room, somewhat helpless to watch.
"Hali, I'm warning you, if you say one word about this before we are ready to announce it, there will be very ugly consequences. Understand?"

She laughed and let Oriana go, "Ah, c'mon! We've kept enough dirty secret's from mom and dad in the past... This one should be no different, eh?" she smiled while elbowing Oriana's arm. "Yeah," she chuckled sarcastically, "But this one you REALLY can't tell mom or dad...Okay?" Hali looked slightly disappointed in her sibling, but agreed that she wouldn't tell. "But you're going to come to that party with me right?" Hali asked with a bit of plea in her voice. Oriana sighed and looked back at Auren, "We don't have to dance there..."

"I'm not against the idea of going, love but I don't want to dance. I know I know I'm getting a dirty look from Hali about this..."
Auren sighed. "Of course... I need to figure out what to wear." he muttered.

Hali smirked, "Just leave me your sizes and i'll have everything prepared." She leaned into Oriana and giggled at a whisper, "He called you love!" Oriana pushed her toward the door and rolled her eyes, "Get out of here, and return to your half of the realm!" Hali ran out the kitchen door and down the hall laughing the whole way. Oriana just crossed her arms and blushed lightly, "Well, That didn't stay secret for too long."

Auren narrowed his eyes as he stared at the retreating Hali. "I know. I should have been more vigilant. I apologize." he said dryly.
He then looked at her with a smile. "Ah but does it matter? I guess not in the long run. We'd need to make an announcement some time, I suppose. And I'd have to do things like ask your father for permission and other silly business like that, right?"

Oriana smirked, "He basically gave it to you when he paid you 50k in gold to watch over me." The door rang and Oriana answered thinking it was her sister, but when she answered, it had appeared that her furniture had arrived. she smiled and opened the doorways for the men to carry it in. She returned to the kitchen, "The furniture finally arrived. Want to help me arrange it?"

Auren nodded as he moved past the movers, often simply taking a piece of furniture single handedly and setting it into the room. After it was all delivered, he set about making it Oriana's space.
Her favorite chair would be the center piece of the room. It with its autumn were placed in the center facing the fire place, with two reading tables next to it. Working quickly and quietly, he left plenty of room around it while placing book shelves on either side of the fire place. A table with three chairs sat in front of a window.
Tapping his chin, he had a thoughtful look as he examined the warm room.
"What do you think, my love?" he asked her.

She smiled pleasantly, "It looks wonderful... But might i make a subjection? I do think that we might need another chair next to mine... or are we sharing?"

"It's my living room..." she grumbled, "My study is my space. But, If you want to share a chair with me in the living room that's fine too." she smiled as she walked around the room deciding where she was going to put the paintings she had wanted.

Auren padded his way behind her and hugged her waist again, looking over her head. "This IS the living room, I suppose. I can't be standing around all the time acting like this is someone else's house. I'll see if I can get my old desk chair from the Moonlight Organization headquarters." he said
"Ah well. That can wait." he said with a grin.
