Originally born in the Hidden Sand Village, Naruu was brought up in a very conservative and pacifistic family, his father an engineer, his mother a medical professional. Normally only keeping to themselves, Naruu's father taught him the skills required to take on his profession. Having interest in this, Naruu took his father's advice and skills to heart, his passions for knowing how objects worked and came to be excelling exponentially. At times during his childhood, he could often be seen dissembling devices such as watches and electrical equipment. His mother, too, taught him the skills of the medical trade, how the body worked, where it was most vlnerablet, about diseases, etc. Time went on. Naruu, his mind thirsty for even more knowledge, thus spent most of his adolescence in the Village's library, continuing his research in both fields. He envisioned becoming the Grand Architect of life, hoping to one day somehow merge man and machine to create perfection.
At the age of 16, he was called into military service. Though not skilled with jutsu of any sort at the time, he was positioned as a medical assistant. War raged on for two years, and after countless missions, as well as successfully not being injured, his luck ran out. He was attacked while attempting to save one of his fellow shinobi. The fight broke out in the desert sands just outside of Sunagakure, a skilled weapon-user against a seemingly helpless pseudo-medical nin. Far from unprepared, Naruu unleashed his torrents of specialized tools for combat, his knowledge of poisons and the body helping him greatly. After a time, the battle was coming to a close; Naruu was out of weapons, his foe just warming up. As if to mock him, Naruu's opponent flicked a senbon at his face. Attempting to block the needle, he missed, the sharp object impaling his eye in a gush of fluid and gore. Screaming, Naruu clutched the needle, removing it from his bleeding eye. Pain seared throughout his body. On the verge of passing out, knowing it would be death, he flew into a fit of weeping and rage. Hastily removing the senbon, and damaged eye, from his skull, his arms and hands went into spasms. Flashing, minute threads began to form from his fingers. The opponent neared, apparently unaware of the threads before him. As he came closer, the now invisible threads grasped ahold tightly, forbidding him of movement. Because of Naruu's lightning affinity, however, the threads stung him like a jellyfish, over and over again. The ninja screamed in agony, unable to escape. For twenty minutes, even when the ninja was finally dead, Naruu continued to shock and flail his body. Nothing was left but a mess of charred gore. Soon after, backup arrived for Naruu.
As the war came to a close, Naruu learned of his mother's and father's death. For some reason, he couldn't feel sorrow. He felt... refreshed, invigorated, thirsty for more. Tired of his frail and... human body, Naruu finally transformed himself into a puppet, tearing away almost all of his mortal coil. Being a master engineer and having unmatched knowledge of the human body, this was a rather easy task. As a result, he decided to formally begin his life as a shinobi, starting from the very bottom, the Ninja Academy, and work his way up. He would indeed become the Grand Architect, one of puppets. The Master of Puppets.
