The sounds of rustling could be heard from the trees in the eerily quiet forest. Three large kunai were thrown in their direction, all aiming for fatal points on the Jounin, the husband and the wife. The couple remained unaware, yet were startled by the noises that they have heard.
Two figures shifted from the trees, two women from what could be assumed. Metal glints revealed that they were most likely rogue nin, ones that were up for hire for assassination.

Mizu quickly caught the kunai heading toward him, and then quickly moved to the husband and wife deflecting the other kunai. Mizu looked at the two rouges as he prepared to protect the two.

"He just got in our way, didn't he?" The first of the two rogues said. She was relatively short, appearing to only be a child. However, from her voice, it was clear to see that this was not the case entirely. The taller of the pair, Akane, nodded silently, already lifting a large cleaver off of her back. Akane seemed to vanish from view, appearing right above Mizu within an instant.
As the silent one attempted to run it through the Jounin, the shorter of the two, Miki, charged directly. However her target was the two couple. She unravelled a long chain that was warpped around her arm, throwing it to one of the trees. Using a quick speed, she had the two clients bound together by the chain before they could realize what had happened to them. Miki laughed in an almost sinister manner. "You'll pay for that, kid."

Mizu was not impresses he stepped forward grabbing the hilt of the blade where the tall girl held it. He held it up stopping it from coming down upon him. Mizu then fueled chakra in his hand pulling the sword out of the girls hand as he now weilded it. Mizu then dashed forward cutting the chains. He grabbed the wife putting her on his back. He then grabbed the husband's arm and leaped off with both of them into the trees, he still held the sword. A few seconds later Mizu and the two were gone they were still in the area but hidden. However the blade was now in a limb of a tree. The blade could be easily pulled out however there was a suprise waiting for them with the blade.

Akane sunk out of view, but Mizu would not see this because he had taken off. Miki, however, was clearly ticked off by this and ran off after him. She was considerably faster than he was, which made tracking him down all that much easier. Not just because she was faster than an average Jounin, but because he was weighed down by two people. The Jounin was underestimating them and it made the shorter of the two angry. She paused just a bit further away from where he was, as if to give off that idea that she had lost sight of them. Miki formed several handseals and electricity begun to crackle in front of her. "Dendou Hari Hirogari no Jutsu (Electric Needle Spread Technique)" Hundreds of needles made purely out of electricity formed, expanding outwards as they gathered in strength.

Mizu was now gone from the couple who were now crying after his abandoment, he knew she was following them, and due to this Mizu seemingly left the couple to fend for themselves. However was this really the case because after the girl began to power up her techqnique that gave Mizu time out of her sight since they had ducked behind a tree.

Miki smiled as Mizu slipped out of her line of sight, releasing the attack when it had reached it's peak power. The needles hurtled through the forest and destroyed anything in their path. Each one was like a slightly weakened version of lightning, an attack that was definitely hard to avoid. The trees groaned as they all begun to fall down from the sheer force of the technique. It was not the lightning that she had aimed to strike him with, it was the falling obstacles.
Unfortunately, leaving the couple alone was a very bad idea. Akane, the second of the two rouges appeared just behind the pair, making no noise at all. Forming a new set of handseals, the earth physically rose up and rooted them right into the ground itself much to their dismay. Again, she sunk beneath the ground with the same technique she had used before, waiting to hear how her partner was doing. The clients struggled, crying out as they tried to pry themselves free. However, the earth was much too strong. Enough so that only those who were specialists in taijutsu would have a chance of getting free. Nor were there any techniques below A-Rank that could break them free either, making this a highly precarious situation indeed.

Mizu was skilled with planning for when he slipped behhind the tree with the couple he didn't actually abandon them, he replaced them with water clones. The clones in the earth returned to thei normal manifested state of water. Mizu was with the couple as he evaded falling debree making sure the couple was not harmed in anyway. After they were safe Mizu moved on through trees that were not damaged they were now more than 90% of the way there and Mizu knew the rouges only had one more chance to stop them them and with them unaware of the three's location Mizu was sure they would escape. Mizu however did one handseal as the blade stuck in the tree from where they were detonated causing a massive explosion and smoke to arise further concealing Mizu and the couple's location. Mizu knew it wasn't his mission to defeat the rouges but merely to get the couple to the sky outskirts safe which they could now see.

Mizu quickly did the same as he did a chakra fueled fueled jump, holding onto the other two. Mizu landed however still in the forest. Mizu had previously seen the skyoutskirts from away, but somehow he was still in the forest. Mizu then quickly kaid the genjutsu for them all. he then walked with them to the outskirts of sky where he was to deliver the couple, where anbu would be there to take them. Mizu had accomplished the mission.

The couple thanked Mizu and left, while the rogue nin simply disppeared. Their mission would probably still continue to target those two, but it was no longer Mizu's concern. With the ANBU surrounding the couple, they were more than safe.

Rin sped out of the city of Vapour, making a beeline for Vibrations. Any reasons why the Otokage would want to meet with her ran through her mind. They were both relatively neutral countries so to speak and generally civil with each other. At least attacks from them were few a far between if ever.

Rin reached the halfway point and sped up. She needed to hurry, having no intentions of leaving the fellow Kage waiting for too long a time period.
