They could still hear sirens. They might have a chance to loot the scene somehow.

"Well, what can we take?" Marten asked eagerly, rubbing his hands together. He seemed eager to loot the scene.

Jacobo began to loot the scene somehow, rooting through wreckage and debris to look for anything useful.
"You know, I think I may know what's going on!" he announced.

"Oh yeah?" Marten asked good-naturedly as he put four subs from the sandwich shop into a To-Go bag. "And what would that be?"

"How about we look for rings to use other than this stupid machine gun one that's way too big for most of us?" Michael suggested.

"Okay, so these rings transformed into weapons when we activated them somehow and they don't need reloading, si." Jacobo began, "I think that these rings are some sort of new technology powered off our imagination or brainpower somehow and once someone puts the ring on their finger and activates it, it scans their neurological activity by connecting with the nerves in their finger and produces a weapon based off of their brainpower and then that weapon is imprinted on the ring for others to use!"
He raised a finger and smiled smuggly, "That's why mine was a machine gun and yours were only handguns and knives. My only regret is that mine wasn't an RPG or something..."
He smiled triumphantly.

"But I had a pistol, and then I traded it to you for the machine gun," Michael pointed out. "I was the one who could actually use the machine gun. A pistol would not have been my first choice for a weapon by a long shot."

"But the strength of the weapon is based on your intelligence. I couldn't use the machine gun because I was too distracted and lacked the focus to do so. You were able to focus, so you were able to use it." he explained.
He failed to realize that he was probably indirectly calling Michael less intelligent.

((Alex: What, the sandwiches? You know it!))
Marten thought for a moment. "That makes no sense. You can't even speak English, why would you be the smarter one? And it's smarter to create a weapon that you can actually use, and one that it way more applicable." Indirect? Nope, not Marten.

Jacobo reached out and smacked Marten non-violently. He stuck a finger in Marten's chest, "I can speak english just fine, pendejo! Or would you rather dickhead? I said the weapon is based off the user's intelligence, not their ability to use it. Or perhaps it's their imagination, either way, I'm still right. Who went to college?" he inquired, not actually knowing a lot about Marten. It could either turn into a condesending remark or a simple inqury.

Marten flipped him off. "I did, asswipe. And if it's based on intelligence, then mine would have been a tactical nuclear strike. What makes you think you're right, anyways?"

"Yermom goes to college," Michael told Jacobo, still ruffling through the wreckage for rings.

"Nuclear strike my a**, I can tell by looking at you that I'm smarter! I dunno, I'm just good at guessing these kind of things." Jacobo announced, returning Marten's bird with one of his own.
He bent down and rummaged through the wreckage.

"If you're dumb enough to judge based on appearances, then I'm already ahead of you," Marten said. "Not only that, but you don't even have a logical support for your idea, which means that it obviously can't work. So really, your whole point is moot, and arguing it is a waste of my time." With that, he took another sandwich and began to eat.
