Tsubasa chuckled at himself "I fear I'm gaining a sales pitch.." Tsubasa suddenly stopped and his ear twitched at the opening of a door.... He turned to Pale "Saitre's up..."

Surprised by Pale's voice she jumped, dropping a few of the things she had been holding. "Hey Pale." She greeted her as she bent down to pick up the items.

Pale put one arm on the wall, to catch her breath. "Ok, you're gonna tell me what's up hun."

Saitre looked up at Pale, her hand reaching for a hairbrush. She looked away quickly and grabbed the hairbrush. Standing up, she kept her head down, unable to look at Pale, knowing if she did she'd probably shed more than a few tears. "I'm alone..." She managed to whisper through the knot in her throat.

Pale knew what she was going through. Her speech mimcked the angry cry Pale had yelled to Tsubasa days ago. "Saitre, don't say that, don't say that at all. We're all here for you, I'm here." She hugged her.

Saitre knew better than to believe the others were there for her, she had made the mistake of trusting someone long ago, and now she was scarred for life with a remembrance of their betrayal. She looked into Pale's eyes, a tear running down her cheek. "You may say that now... but eventually I'll be left alone again."

"Saitre..." and here Pale sighed "I doubt that Tsubasa will take me seriously enough to mark me, I doubt this clan will stay together when my old one fell apart, I doubt that everyone will even survive."
"Does that mean I'm right? Everyone's had a god-forsaken past, but to be able to move on with life we need to trust again."

Saitre had been drawn to this clan, thinking that somehow it would have a big effect on her and let her once again be herself. Let her trust again, and not worry so much about tomorrow, or dwell on the past. She opened her mouth to speak, but didn't know what to say. "... I'm not ready to trust again... not yet..."

Saitre nodded in response to Pale's question. She stood there, her hands full. After a few seconds she turned around and walked into the bathroom.

Pale turned around, dejectedly, and pushed open the door to her room. She had a good feeling about Saitre, she hoped she would come through.

Saitre thought about what Pale had said as she went about doing her thing in the bathroom. After about a half-hour she walked out of the bathroom, a wet towel hanging over one shoulder, her hair wet and plastered to her face. She felt somewhat better after speaking with Pale, but she still knew it was going to be a challenge for her to trust anyone. Walking into her room, she threw the towel on her bed and walked back out, heading for the outdoors.

Tsubasa finally got the drive to actually get up, and leapt out of bed, straightening out his clothes quickly, he sped out of the window, going to see what was up with everyone...

Tsubasa jumped in the window before applying the salt that the Healer had given him to Pale's wound, and laying her on the bed, he leaned down "Try to stay up..." He whispered, before walking out of the hallway and jumping in the shower
