Sirius Black? Just off the top of my head XD.
This character is mostly seen in the 6th book/movie
Hermione doesn't seem to like them
They dated Ronald Weasley.

Severus Snape, one of the best written "gray" characters I've read in a very long time.
1) He has the same initials as his brother and both of them were involved in the trial of the Longbottoms' torture.
2) His sister-in-law killed her cousin
3) He is a Death Eater that is more often mentioned than interacted with.

Is yours Rabastan Lestrange? I had to look it up, and he's the only one that makes sense.

And yes, Rabastan was who I was looking for.
