"The king." She stated simply. She raised her scythe to finish the job. "And the head of you would be a nice gift for my master as well." She said with a grin. She was about to lower the scythe to kill her, when she stopped. She lowered her scythe down gently. She had her down, why did she stop. She was confused herself. She just didn't want to kill her for some reason or another. She held out her hand to help her up. "Don't think too much of this." She said looking the other direction while her hand was out.

Pre looked confused. She'd rather die than be given sympathy from the enemy.
"Why didn't you finish me off...? I was trying to kill you..." Pre said, not taking her hand.

Hector fired more arrows at the dreadknight, hoping one would at least buy some time. This battle could go on forever with the knights being as strong as they are.
"Wipe that grin off your face," Hector said in a strong tone. "It will be your last."

"I don't know. Maybe because it wasn't a very even fight. You had lost a lot of strength from your last battle. It wouldn't be fair to kill you now." She said pulling her hand away. She crossed her arms. "So you don't know where the king is?" She asked, tapping her foot on the floor.

((gah sorry had to go dinner))  Renata watched protecting those injured an dazed Shadow deflecting any attack she could. yes she was small and child like, no bigger than 4 10" and yet she was feircey determined to get everyone away safely. Yet Vanessa was missing, having run off. Little Ren winced, the bleeding side a pain and the dull aching of her broken ankle bothersome. Her aura grew, expanding, creating a small gap in the time space continuem due to the portal and her aura reacting together, but it quickly sealed back up. she was hardly aware of it. People's inner wished grabbed at her, nagging her to grant them, as much as she resisted she had never had so many people around her. She did not wish to grant many of these wished, as it would be very bad. "What if the King is not really here? Maybe the portal is rifting though different placed and he ended up some place else?" her small voice asked.

"Agh!" Pre cried in pain as she stood up. Most of her nerves were gathered in her wings, so it's more painful to be injured there than any other part of her body, "I have no idea where your King is. He didn't come with us. He must have either gotten stuck in that portal or is still in his castle," She answered.

"Hes not in his castle. I know that much." She said looking around the area. "I guess he really isn't here. I can't pick up his scent." She said with a sigh. A waste of time coming here was. She began walking back down the hallway she came from. "Tell your sensai, to start packing up his stuff and flee this place if he wants to live." She said with a grin as she continued walking down the hall. She would have to go back to the portal now. She was still confused how there were two Pres though. One on each side of the portal. She didn't bother asking though.

Pre's eyes narrowed and she followed along behind Vanessa. She was completely powerless so all she could do was monitor the girl's movements.

She turned her head around as she continued walking, noticing Pre following. "I suppose you intend to watch my actions while I'm here. I don't blame you. I am a bit dangerous." She said with a smile and turned back to continue walking. She knew that Pre was powerless at the moment and did not fear her following her.

Pre glared at the woman, "I don't trust you. You better not attack Sensei or you're in for a world of hurt," She threatened. Her threats were similar to the growls of a heavily injured cat.

Vanessa just laughed. "Don't worry, I have no intention of touching him. But my master does. Try and put a world full of hurt on him." She said.

It went silent for a bit. "Do you happen to have a twin for any chance?" She asked breaking the silence. She was referring to the other Pre she had met.
