Enzeru saw Gill running at Derek from behind him. She remembered that he was at the med camp when she left, which means that he might know how Quin was doing. When she was in front of Derek, she tried not to look at him. There was no need for him to know that there was anything wrong with her at the moment. "I just finished killing the last one I think, but they seem to be poping out from nowhere. I'm going back to the camp to check on Quin." She remembered that she had yet to tell him that Quin was the last dragoon. "He's going to be coming with us. You see...he's the last of the dragoons. I don't know how he got the orb, but he showed it to me and it was reacting to him, so I know its got to be him." She was lying a little bit about not knowing where he got it, but b=she figured that it wasn't her place to tell him that.

Darak saw Enzeru and Gill. Regarding both of them. "I saw the orb as well. We need to get moving as fast as we can have either of you seen Korrin? He is the only one that is missing now." Darek could see that Gill was disturbed by the dead and Enzeru gave off an unconfortable look. He would adress her later about it. "I will tell you later what has gone amiss here. Get to the others if you wish. If not stay close to me and we can try and find our last compainion." ((You guys just started posting way to much. It isa now getting hard for me to keep up. LOL. ))

(Sorry Donie. We just got moving really fast, though I think we left plenty for foes in the town to keep us on the move, especially if they get back up and start to attack us again and again.)
Quin tensed with the pain, as it drove the breath from his lungs. It was a half minute or pure torture, yet Quin was a hard boy. He didn't scream out in pain like most people his age would have, like most people in general. When she was done Quin was still in pain, as his body fought for breath again. It took a few moments, but his breathing did return to a semblance of normal. He laid still though so Kiana could finish dressing the wounds and then back on the run they would have to go.

"derek," Gill panted, coming to a stop next to him. " Katara sent me to find you and Korrin...so I guess that means that im sticking with you." He looked up and down teh street. Blinds were hasitly closed over windows and teh doors were probably locked. Even thought it was day time. he had the feeling that the lights were all turned off. It was eerie.

(YIKES! sorry gang, but I've had major school chaos lately and Thanksgiving but now I'm back. Hopefully this post will work)
*I wake up to the smell of smoke and flames. I have been having a horrible nightmare but now that memory and train of thought is gone. The door of my room to the hallway is in flames. I leap to my feet, snatch up my sword, and charge out the window to fall two stories, crashing through a slanted outcropping of wood above the back door of the blazing Inn. Pain explodes through me when I hit the ground, originating from my left side. There is a thin stake of wood sticking out of me. I sustain a scream of pain and use the support beam keeping the now smashed though outcropping up to heave myself off the ground. The moment I gain my feet I hear a bellowing battle cry and see a sinister figure blitzing toward me, a long, jagged blade in hand. I have but a second to draw my sword and raise it to block my opponent first blow. Our blades clash and I stumble backwards, still off balance. The man leaps forward, looking to finish me off. Fortunately he is sloppy and exposes his entire chest as he prepares his fatal swing. I jab my sword forward and hit home. Steel meets chest cavity and heart and my assailant falls limp, his blade thumps on the ground. I stand breathing hard for a moment and with draw my sword from his dead body. I hear the sounds of battle and quickly realize the situation. Some strange faction is sieging the village. My thoughts immediately turn to my fellow Dragoons. Sure Darrek is a great soldier but is he enough to keep everyone alive? I shake the thought as I turn my attention to the wound in my side. The sliver of wood had to come out. I grit my teeth and yank the stake from me. The pain is worse than the initial stab. But I must shake it off. I begin to trot painfully away from the Inn, which is starting to collapse. To my left is the city wall and to my right is the street. I glance toward the street to see carnage and death. And Darrek galloping on a horse, heading north. I continue my course north. But of naturally it did not go smoothly. A group of three bandits approached my from the front, figuring me to be easy prey. I begin to twirl my sword slowly around my wrist as my new enemies stalk forward. One decides to make the first strike. As he lunges forward I lash out to his head with lightning fast reflexes. I have used this maneuver to split melons in half. Against a human skull in chops in half way. I yank my sword from the fallen man's head to engage in combat with the other two. Their swordsmanship is slow and sloppy but I still grow weary quickly from my wound. And I'm losing blood fast. After tripping one of the men, I make a slash to the other's throat. His jugular is split but I was not fast enough. His blade slashes my right thigh, creating a one inch deep gash the travels diagonally down my upper leg. I scream and stumble sideways into the towering stone wall. But to God's great grace my other opponent was just barely rising to his knees and had dropped his sword when he fell. And he was less than a half an arms length away from my position. I simply hack straight down at the back of his neck. The battle is won, but not the war. And a war is not the place I wanted to be right now. In a delirium I hobble north. A couple other individuals try to finish me off but they are fatally unsuccessful. I finally reach the north gate. By now I can hardly see straight and my hearing is a jumble that only a drunk could understand. I forget where I am and fall to the ground. I realize that I'm going to die. Or am I? For not a second after that thought float through my mind and rough hand hoists me up and I feel the sensation of being rushed on horse back. Little do I know I am being taken to the wounded camp. Nor am I aware that the man I have yet to meet, Quin, is being treated by Kiana there. I am laid down and immediately two field surgeons leap to my side.*

Kiana picked up a bottle of orange liquid. After she had opened it, she slowly poured a a small amount into Quins wound. "That should do it." She was satisfied. His wound was already closing up, the skin reconstructing itself. "You should be as good as new in a minute or two." Reaching into her bag, shr took out yet another bottle, this one with a green liquid in it. She handed it to Quin with another warm smile. "Drink this. It will make you fell better." She got up and walked over to the well to wash the blood off her hands. Just then, two medics rushed past her. Looking over her shoulder to see what was going on, she was horror struck to see Korrin laying on the ground, blood pouring out from noumerous wounds. She rushed over to him, yelling at the other medics to step aside. "Korrin? Korrin can you hear me.?!"

Quin looked sheepishly to the lady, "Thanks." Now he felt really bad for stealing from her earlier that day. He would have to tell her later, for she was already gone. He looked at the strange liquid in the bottle, and could already feel the pain in his back diminish as the healing ointments did their thing. It was truely amazing what that girl could do.

Enzeru felt that there was no need for the three of them to be there, so she decided to go ahead back to the camp. She was filled with mixxed emotions as she got there. Quin wasn't too far away from her, his wounds fixxed from what she could tell, but Korrin lay on the ground with terrible wounds no more than 10 yards away from him. Seeing as Kiana was taking care of Korrin, Enzeru walked over to Quin and sat next to him. "It seems that you're doing better."

"That Kiana is quite the person. She heals me up real well, and then no sooner does she finish does she run off to the next person." He fiddled with the cap of the bottle, contemplating drinking it like he was told to. "Now I feel rather bad because I stole from her. Do you still have those trinkets of hers? I think I would rather give them back personally."

Enzeru reached into her pocket and brought out the necklace and the money pouch. Placing them on the ground, she let out a sigh. "I still owe you an explination, and I might as well give it to you while I have time."

With a fluid motion, Quin had the items in his hand and tucked away inside his belt pouch. He took one last look at the bottle, then flipped the stopper with his thumb and drank it all, as he was told to do. "Yes, you did say that, and then all hell broke loss."
(Hell is a place, not a swear. In this instance, it is referring to a similarity to the place... ninja )

"I wont argue with that." Her voice had gone back to the way it usually was, low and amotionless. "That stone you had earlier, isn't any ordinary stone. It's an orb that holds one of seven dragon spirits. Yours holds the lightning spirit. I on the other hand..." She reached into her jacket and took out the black orb, "...have the shadow spirit. Kiana has light, Katara fire, Gill air, Derek water, and Korrin earth. The Seven of us make up the next generation of dragoons." She hoped that he understood the basics of what she was saying, for she didn't know alot of the details.
