Marcus's smirk held, "Just a bit...", he said playfully. As she poked him however the smirk faded and he shuttered. Marcus didn't have a properly working nervous system, on most parts of his body he was numb. But parts of his body had the same feeling as your foot after it fell asleep, strange and tingly. The spot that Akido had poked him was one of those spots. The strange sensation spread through most of his upper torso. Marcus looked at Akido with a puzzled look, he wasn't accustomed to such playful nature. But soon Marcus couldn't help but give a crooked smile. "So what was that for" he chuckled.

Watching him curiously as he shuddered she pouted a bit, "You deserve to be poked. You said I was only tolerable." Poking him again to see if he would have the same reaction she smiled though she knew the reason he did it probably wasn't pleasant. Letting her pout turn into a smile she said, "I was hoping you were ticklish." Looking at his face she liked his crooked smile. It seemed so much more real to her than his smirk, more normal. Poking him again she tried to look innocent but couldn't hide her grin, not today.

Marcus shuttered again as she poked him again, but this time less noticeably. He couldn't help but keep that smile, Akido's cheery mood seemed to be contagious. "Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not tick-" Marcus was cut off with yet another poke from Akido, this time making him jump a bit from the odd sensation it was creating. For the first time since he had been here, he laughed a bit. "Alright let's see how you like it..." Marcus said as he reached towards Akido and poked her straight in her stomach.

Giggling as he shuddered she laughed a bit when she made him jump, and then he poked her back. Letting out a small squeak she covered her stomach and sides best she could with her arms, "No fair," she laughed, "I am actually ticklish." Moving to crouch on the balls of her feet she poked him again in the same spot then moved back a few step with a playful, 'if you want to tickle me, come and get me' grin. It had been years since she had enjoyed herself so much and all things considered this was turning into a great day.

Eve finished her food and picked Mr. Catz up, "Well Mr. Catz where do you want to go? I should probably find your owner eventually so he knows your okay and with me." She nuzzled his head, "He's probably so worried, or she." She carried him in her arms and stroked him as she walked back to the lobby.
Luna spun back to the door and then back at Cole, "Your dad?!" She couldn't help but think of a soap opera at this time with the dramatic music and the 'what will happen next week on mutants r us.' She started to laugh and then stopped quickly when she realized Cole couldn't read her mind, "Sorry I was thinking of a soap opera." She walked over to him and gave him a quick hug, "I'm sure it will be okay Cole. I won't let anyone take you away." She broke the hug and went in to a fighting stance, then she transformed into a huge rock monster then back to a human, "I'm pretty solid."

Kat got off her rose bush and made her way back to the school. She slammed the door shut, ignoring everyone or thing that was around and screamed out her mother's name.
After the third yell Lisa showed up and dragged Kat in to her office. After some more screaming and yelling with many a swear words you could hear a deafening slap and pure silence.
Kat left the room quietly and slowly made her way up the stairs to her room where she slumped down on the bed and cried into her pillow. The hand print was turning into a bruise.
Lisa sat down in her chair and eventually Lucas came in and consoled her, telling her that she did the right thing to slap her. A knock on the door came shortly after that and Lucas opened the door. Lisa knew who it was instantly, but she didn't expect to see him, "It's Cole's father. Let him in." Lisa on the other hand left and went to the pool where she walked around the edges for a while.

Marcus couldn't help but laugh again at the noise she made and also the way she covered her stomach to protect herself. Marcus really had forgotten what real fun was. Back in Manhattan the most fun he ever had was getting in fights at bars or throwing empty liquor bottles off roof tops at people in the city park. When she poked him again and moved away, he covered his side this time but did his best not to shutter. She seemed to hit the exact spot each time and create that strange feeling. "Alright, thats it..." He said with a menacing but still playful smile as he crouched down in a pouncing like position. With surprising speed, Marcus threw himself forward and pinned Akido down, tickling her repeatedly on her sides.

Akido was suddenly glad for choosing the turtle neck since to many humans her skin would feel cool and smooth like marble. Not to mention instead of the slender form she showed people, her true form had slender muscles and nice curves. However that thought didn't stay formed for long when he tackled her tickling her side. Squirming in between fits of laughter she wiggled beneath him trying to find a way to escape that didn't prove she had greater strength than a mere mutant. Any plan she might have had was easily pushed aside as she laughed harder she was extremely ticklish and it showed. "That's cheating" she breathed between fits her face flushed from laughter. "I give. I give."

Cole couldn't help but chuckle slightly at Luna's humor. "Well thanks. I'm glad to know that you'll be here for me then. I have a feeling my dad might be a bit scared of you if you turned into something like that again in front of him," he said letting out a slight sigh. He had tensed up since the appearance of his father and hadn't quite realized it until that moment. He wasn't sure if he should go see what the man wanted or if he should avoid him at all costs... The dark-haired man stood, waiting to be let in. As soon as the door opened, he nodded his head at the one who had let him in. He then looked about the room, seeming a bit uneasy. The idea of mutants was never quite comforting for him, especially since many of them had powers that could probably kill him. He walked to the first person he saw and began kneading at his fingers lightly. "I'm James Barrow....my son goes here. I....need to speak to him.." he said. Damian let out a quiet squeak-like noise as he was picked up. Not on purpose, it just came. He looked up at Evening's face as she spoke, not sure what he was going to do about 'taking him back to his owner'. Perhaps now would be a good time for him to tell her he wasn't exactly a cat. It would seem a bit odd, though, or at least he thought so. Questions like 'why didn't you tell me earlier?' would be difficult for him to answer. His ears drooped down on his head as he thought about it. This was why he rarely 'lied' to anyone.

Marcus continued to tickle here, even as she squirmed. When she gave up though, he placed his hands on the ground and hovered over her, unable to remove the large smile he had. As he was holding himself over her, Marcus looked into her eyes and his heart began to race. Marcus felt as though his heart was ready to burst through his chest. Marcus's eyes still locked on hers, it felt as though they were pulling him towards her. Marcus knew if he didn't do something to break this hold her eyes had over him, that he might do something he would regret. Using what felt like the last remains of his free will, Marcus shifted his weight to one side and rolled onto his back next to Akido. Marcus was looking off into the sky, breathing heavily and hoping to slow his heart. After a moment, he looked to his left and looked over to Akido with a smile.

Looking up to him as he finnally stopped her tried to slow her breathing from the laughing. Looking into his eyes she thought she must be imagining things. She had seen that look in peoples eyes before but never directed at this glamour being so used to looking invisible to people she thought it was her imagination that there was anything different about him. When he rolled off to the side she grinned at him catching her breath but saying more steadily, "You cheated." Running both hands through her hair she became aware of something poking her in the back. Arching a bit she pulled out the flower bouquet and laughed again, "I think we killed it." she said holding up the now flatter flowers.

"I don't like to play fair" Marcus said through a wide smile as he rolled on his side to face Akido, propping his head up with his hand. He then Laughed when he saw the smashed bouquet. "Whoops...my bad" he said trying to hide his snickering. It was then he noticed a bit of grass in her hair and with his free hand he picked them out. All the while, trying to avoid getting trapped in her eyes again.

Lying the bouquet aside she let him get the grass from her hair with a smile but also at a loss for words. When she first saw him she knew he wasn't the classic type that came here but kind and funny was never something she would have used to describe him. Knowing they had been having some type of conversation before this happened she couldn't remember what they had been talking about but in a way he was cautious that made her wonder if he knew about her illusion. "It shows." she teased back at him with a smile, "We were saying something before weren't we?" she asked hoping it had been about him and not her.

Marcus's eye navigated upwards in thought, trying to recall what they were talking about before the poking and tickling incident. It was hopeless, his mind didn't seem to work like it should when he was around her. Having abandoned the idea of bringing back their past conversation, he finally spoke "No clue... what do you want to talk about?"

She giggled, "I haven't the slightest idea." It didn't seem smart to ask why he had left home or dig to deeply, she learned that earlier but her good mood was making her open. "Anything you want to talk about? I seem to have gotten the choice since I arrived here." Moving to lie on her stomach and look at him she swung her legs absentmindedly behind her.
